Clinical Picture: Gastro-intestinal symptoms

Cutaneous symptoms

Diarrhea.

Cough. Cough and wheeze for a short period of time. prolonged cough and bronchospasm. Dry cough. Cough and blood stained sputum.

Seizure.

Pruritis: -Localization of the itch is very important.

Abdominal pains or cramps. Passage of worms or segments in stool & vomits.

Primary amoebic meningitis. Meningoencephalitis. Blindness.

Ulceration. Subcutaneous mass. Erythematous patches. Urticaria.

Clinical examination - The clinical examination of a patient with parasitic infection should be thorough - The skin must be carefully observed - Lymphadenopathy - Lymphatic vessels may be inflamed with surrounding edema - The presence of an enlarged liver or spleen - The results of a full blood count may reveal eosinophilia.
