TNT: You are not only a great musician but also a very well known photographer. When did you start getting interested in photography? BA: I got interested by photographing things on the road; I have some lovely shots of India in fact. From there it became like most things I do, all the way or nothing. TNT: Of all the celebrities and great figures you have photographed, who has been your favourite? BA: My grandparents....the few photos I have of them are my favourite. TNT: Who is the one person you would like to photograph and why? BA: Perhaps I would like to do a portrait of Fidel Castro, as I think he is one of the most extraordinary figures of the last century. I’m sure I never will get that commission, but you asked. TNT: Like many people in this region you seem to take your food very seriously. Is it true that you take your cook along with you when ever you travel for concerts all over the world? BA: I don’t have a cook at home, but we do have a

TNT: What is your favourite kind of food? BA: I’ve been a vegetarian for 20 years, so fruit and vegetables are it. TNT: Have you had any Indian food? Have any of them been to your fancy? BA: I was brought up eating curry. My father was stationed in Malaya with the British Army before I was born, so curry was a staple of the Adams household.

TNT: When not working what do you like to do to relax? BA: I like to swim. TNT: Finally, being an idol to many, who have been your influences and how have they helped shape the Bryan Adams today? BA: They have mostly been singers like Ray Charles, Willie Dixon, Beatles, John Fogerty and most rock music from the 70’s.
The album, ‘You Want It, You Got It’, was originally titled ‘Bryan Adams Hasn’t Heard Of You Either’, but that title was rejected by A&M as being too provocative.
