PACIFIC PALISADES RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION PO Box 617 Pacific Palisades, CA 90272 [email protected] To: Los Angeles Department of City Planning - Attention: Luciralia Ibarra Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl Pacific Palisades Residents Association is a 51 year community wide all volunteer non profit organization with the mission of insuring rational planning and the preservation and protection of residential neighborhoods and recreational resources in Los Angeles and the Pacific Palisades. As a community we are concerned with cumulative impacts of projects throughout the city of Los Angeles. As a neighboring community to Brentwood/West Los Angeles PPRA opposes the rezoning of this parcel. PPRA Board of Directors consistently supports enforcement of zoning and municipal codes..To consider changing current zoning to permit development of the more than 500,000 square feet "Bundy Village" proposed project at 1901/1925/1933 South Bundy Drive and 12333 West Olympic Blvd. would be to disregard previous concerns and public input which resulted in current zoning and the adoption of the West Los Angeles Community Plan. Traffic impacts of significant impact would result from this project. Traffic is currently at gridlock many hours of each day in the immediate and surrounding regional streets and to add more to what is already an impossible situation would be irresponsible. Cumulative impacts of significance would result impacting communities nearby as well as regionally. Unless modifications with significant downsizing of the project is negotiated rezoning must be denied. Please include PPRA on the mailing list for future notices and please include this letter in the file.
