How Will This Race Impact Me? As many of you know, my dear friend Paul Ruel passed away just last year at the age of 25 after his third bout with Leukemia. According to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, “Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20.” Paul was diagnosed at the age of 18 and beat the odds of this statistic by only five years. I attribute those extra years with Paul to all the medical research made possible by programs like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Just because Paul is gone now, doesn’t mean the fight is over. I’ve chosen to take on Paul’s challenge in slapping cancer in the face!

I Need Your Help! I am trying to raise $3,300 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Every dollar counts in the fight to prolong lives and find a cure. READ ON…
