How to Join the First Baptist Family By Baptism—If one professes faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, the church may receive that person as a candidate for church membership through believer’s baptism. If you are a member of another denomination and have never been baptized, or have been baptized in a mode other than immersion, the church may receive you for membership through baptism. By Transfer of Membership—The church may receive a person as a member upon transfer of membership from a Baptist church of like belief. We will be happy to arrange for this transfer. By Statement—If you are a member of another denomination, membership does not transfer from one denomination to another. You may join by your statement, which is your testimony of your acceptance of Christ as Savior and your Scriptural baptism by immersion.

We will engage our hearts, our minds, our bodies, and our voices to give our Creator the best worship we can offer. You are invited to participate in whatever way you are able. We know that visiting a new church is a very important occasion and we are praying for you this morning. Welcome! Don’t Miss This Wednesday! Fellowship Meal beginning at 5:15pm –Activities for all ages at 6pm: Children’s Choirs & Missions, Ekklesia (Bible Study & Worship) for Youth, Adult Prayer Meeting & Bible Study, Sanctuary Choir Practice (at 7 pm) - Get plugged in to our mid-week activities! Quarterly Business Meeting This Wednesday. The Committee on Committees will make recommendations concerning the size of several committees. These recommendations will be voted on at the Quarterly Business Meeting. Our Sympathy and Prayers. Our love and support, sympathy and prayers go out to the family of Rose Escott, Gram Short’s great-aunt, who went to be with Christ this past week. We join together as a family of faith and pray for these families as we celebrate Christ’s gift of eternal life. Wedding Anniversary – FBC members, Bill and Faye Chappell, will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary this week. Their family has asked us to write notes of congratulations and encouragement to them to be read at a small party they are planning. What a great source of encouragement our family of faith can be to this couple who have provided for us a model of a lasting Christian marriage. Please take time to write them a note and mail to PO Box 231, Hamilton. Thank you.
