No matter how talented, intelligent or successful an individual is, they are not able to fit into a society they were not born into.
Even though it appears that Othello is on a higher social level than Iago due to his military title, Iago is in fact superior to Othello because of Marxism. Marxism: Iago deems himself superior to Othello because Iago was born into an upper level of society where Othello was brought into it after being born into slavery at an extremely low level.
