This spectacular orchid it is found rambling up trees near raging rivers. The plant is already impressive and it has one of the largest orchid flowers.
Paphiopedilum barbatum
Once this terrestrial orchid was pretty common, growing in huge patches, but poaching resulted in the species being very rare indeed in the wild now.
Coelogyne kaliana A beautiful and fragrant orchid found in the mossy forest on the highest peaks of Cameron Highlands. When it flowers the whole forest smells sweet!
