Congressman Teague and Congressman Heinrich were elected in 2008 in Republican districts and are both being targeted by the National Republican Congressional Committee in the 2010 election. Frontline New Mexico is a joint fundraising committee established to support the campaigns of Congressmen Martin Heinrich and Harry Teague, two of the most competitive congressional campaigns in New Mexico and the nation. Contributions to Frontline New Mexico will be divided equally between Harry Teague for Congress, and Martin Heinrich for Congress Inc. The first $2400 of a person's contribution will be considered designated for the primary election and the second $2400 of a person's contribution will be considered designated for the general election. Notwithstanding the above allocation formula, any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
