It was wonderful of the churches to open to the poor and needy, but on Sabbath, most of the members of one church wouldn’t help give food to the hungry people because they said that it wasn’t a “Sabbath activity.” They didn’t want to ‘desecrate the Sabbath.’” But it was observed that these saintly souls didn’t mind filling their own bellies with the food provided by other members. Is it hard for them to guess who’s going to be in heaven? Other SDA churches {like the church you see above} had fallen into an even deeper ditch, and would not give food, {or anything else to these poor, homeless, dirty, wretches} because they didn’t want to get their church and their nice carpet dirty.
