Subject: Proposal for conducting Management Games in AIMT.

We the student of MBA-6 would like to take your permission to invite All India Management Association (AIMA) to conduct management games in our institute premises for enhancing analytical and business skills. As requested, we are submitting a proposal to conduct two day Management Games session.

BACKGROUND:After interacting with our batch students we conclude that the student body needs improvement in Management Skills and business analysis. We have also received a positive feedback from the student who has attended management games conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) at other institutes. Hence, we propose that you sponsor two day Management Games session, held during any two days between November 10th 2009 to November 11th 2009.

OBJECTIVE:The Management Games session would help our students to achieve these objectives:1. To enhance the team building skills. 2. To enhance the analytical and logical reasoning skills. 3. To know the latest Management trends and techniques. 4. To take precautionary measures to avoid disaster like recession in the future. 5. To abide Business ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

SCHEDULE FOR TWO DAYS:1. Case study/case analysis. 2. Ideas smarter business for smarter planet. 3. Discussion on post recession disaster management for affected business globally.

4. Guest speakers for a lecture on ‘social responsibility‘. 5. Business quiz. 6. Art of learning session. ABOUT AIMA:The All India Management Association (AIMA) was created as an apex body of professional management with active support of the Government of India and Industry in 1957. AIMA is a group- a body to pool management thoughts in the country, a forum to develop a national managerial ethos, an organisation to facilitate the furtherance of the management profession in the country. AIMA has established close links with over 3000 institutions and over 30,000 individual professionals directly. AIMA is not only conducting management games sessions but at the same time AIMA’s activities include Distance management Education, management Development Programmes, national Events, Competitions, Research, Publication and Testing Services. AIMA is an active member of the Asian Association of Management Organizations (AAMO), which is the AsiaPacific regional body of the World Management Council (CIOS). AIMA maintains close links with a number of overseas professional institutions like the American Management Association

PROCEDURE:In enclosed outline shows coverage of the two days Management Games sessionProposal Budget -

Rs 30000/- only

The proposed budget would be required for paying appropriate fees to All India Management Association (AIMA), for procuring the required resources to conduct the Management Games session.

SUMMARY:This session would be beneficial to the entire student body and would encourage them to further enhance their knowledge base and skills and also we encouraged to conduct and participate in such games in future. We will look forward to the complete support of faculty and institute management. Please let us know your reactions to this proposal.
