CAD DESIGNER

POSITION SUMMARY  CAD designer inputs yarn dye plaids and stripes, re‐colors and designs prints and patterns. Organizes and maintains  CAD files, orders appropriate supplies and maintains equipment .  Interfaces with merchant team and fashion office.     

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES   ƒ

Inputs yarn dye plaids and stripes‐ ability to create and recolor patterns into seasonal palette without  supervision.

Designs or modifies prints, puts prints into standard repeats.

Matches seasonal color palettes with CAD printer.

Organizes CAD files‐ maintains books with printouts of work done

   POSITION SUMMARY  To implement, train and support the PDM/PLM system for Brooks Brothers Technical Design, Production, Merchandising  and Design teams. Act as the bridge between the user community and the IT team. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES   ƒ

To assist with the implementation of the PDM/PLM system across all relevant areas of the business. Provides        input to project plans and provides regular status updates on progress and issues.      

ƒ

Develop training material and technical documentation. Train each of the teams on the PDM/PLM system as well  as our vendors and overseas offices.

Acts as the first analyst in resolving reported problems and interfaces with IT to diagnose problems and identify  potential system or business solutions

Continually evaluate the processes/ business practices in each of the departments with a view to streamlining the  process within the PDM/PLM .
