Course Synopsis This course is specially designed for healthcare professionals, therapists and anyone who would like to learn on the nutritional assessment methods. Nutritional assessment has become a crucial component of routine health survey and research to examine the relationship between nutrition and health status of individuals or population. In this course, students are exposed to the four major types of nutritional assessment methods, namely dietary assessment, anthropometric assessment, biochemical assessment and clinical assessment. Students are also trained to conduct some important nutritional assessment during the practical sessions. Nutritional assessment in disease prevention is also covered in this course.
