Human Centred Design Combines branding, computer science, engineering, ergonomics, management, philosophy and psychology to design products and services which are physically, perceptually, cognitively and emotionally intuitive.

BitLAB Multipurpose research and conference facility.

Includes a Vicon motion capture system, a Minolta 3D scanner and three large raised Stewart screens. Research areas include multimedia, 3D visualisation, holography, grid computing and animation.

Perception Enhancement Lab Three sound proofed test chambers for performing psychophysical tests with participants.

Control and data acquisition systems permit high bandwidth (more than 300 Hz) reproduction of steering vibration and vehicle cabin sound.

Driving Simulator Lab

Fixed-base vehicle. STISim software. Steering torque feedback. Seat motion feedback. Dolby surround sound. Eye-tracking equipment.
