Proper Noun
It Denotes one particular person, place or thing. Examples : Chander, Kolkata, India, the Ganga etc. Chander
Common Noun Common Noun is a
name given to every person or thing of the same class or kind. Example: Table, Glass, Table Town, King etc.
Collective Noun It denotes a group or collection of similar individuals considered as one complete whole. Example : Army, Class, Jury, School, Team etc.

Material Noun It Denotes Matter or substance of which a thing is made. Example: wood, clay, rubber, iron, silver, gold, cloth etc.

Abstract Noun It Expresses quality, state or action. Example: Truth, love, soul, mind, greatness, life etc.

Benefits A sentence is a group of words arranged in a manner which makes complete sense. Words are divided into different kinds or classes called Parts of speech according to their use or to the work they do in a sentence. A noun is one of these parts. After understanding Nouns a person will be able to make and understand sentences.
