North Sacramento Cops Log North Sac Beat 12/31/09 11:36 pm, 1900 block of Rockbridge Rd, Shooting Swanston Estates Someone shot at the residence several times. Officers located multiple bullet holes in the front window. No suspects or vehicles were seen.

12/30/09 7:18 pm, Los Robles/Marysville Blvd, Stolen Car/Arrest Hagginwood Officers Trefethen and Harshbarger located an occupied stolen car at the above location. The car was stolen out of Oakland. Mark Dillard 8/5/66 was arrested for the stolen car. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked various locations in N. Sac. They wrote 30 citations, gave 4 warnings, and towed 5 cars.

12/29/09 7:24 pm, 2100 Harvard (Extended Stay Hotel) A suspect entered the hotel w/ a gun and demanded money from the clerk. She gave him the cash drawer and fled out the back door. The suspect was gone when officers arrived. Suspect: Male white adult, 20-30 yrs., 5'9", 200 lbs, reddish hair w/ a ski mask. 3:40 pm, Rio linda/Ford rd, Drug Arrest Hagginwood SWAT officers stopped a white VW Jetta at the above location for expired registration. The passenger had cocaine in his pocket and the driver didn't have a drivers license. Jimenez Ortiz 5/4/83 was arrested on drug charges and the driver was given a citation. 2:41 pm, Boxwood/El Camino, Drug/Parolee Arrest North Sac Cops Log | 1    

N. sac The SWAT team attempted to stop a subject that was riding a bike at the above location. he refused to stop and attempted to flee on his bike. He went on Boxwood, Frienza, Evergreen and was caught on Lexington. He had methamphetamine in his pocket along with a syringe. David Brown 6/1/70 was arrested for drugs and parole violation (he lives downtown).

12/28/09 10:20 pm, Grand/Elm, Parolee/DUI/Arrest Del Paso Heights, Officers Marks and Lopes stopped a Silver Buick Park Ave for expired registration. They observed a can of beer on the floorboard of the car. They also located a Jack Daniels open bottle on the seat. They also located a narcotic pipe in the car. The driver was on parole and arrested for DUI. Glenn Haney 7/19/54 was arrested for DUI, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and parole violation. 9:10 pm, 4128 Norwood (Jack in the Box), Armed Robbery Robla 2 suspects entered the business and jumped the counter. They hit one of the clerks with the gun. They took money and a laptop and fled in a brown vehicle (possibly a Toyota). Suspects: #1 male Pacific Islander, 6'2", 240 lbs, long wavy hair, dark clothing and gloves. #2. Male Pacific Islander, 20's, 5'6", sweatshirt and tan pants possibly wearing socks on hands. 8:30 pm, Arden Mall (near Sears), Purse Snatch robbery The victim was getting out of her car when two suspects approached. One suspect grabbed her purse and she screamed. The suspect fled south with the victim's purse and across the street toward El torritos. The suspect got into a white Ford Truck and left east on Arden Way. The main suspect was described as male white (or Hispanic) adult, 22 yrs., 5'7", scruffy facial hair, blonde hair and hoodie. 5:14 pm, Grand/May St., Gun Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers Harshbarger and Bryan contacted a group of subjects in white Pontiac Bonneville parked in front of a home on May St. There were 5 people inside the car and at least one of them was on probation and had a no bail warrant. All of the subjects stated they were from Oak Park and not from the North Area. While officers were getting people out of the car, they observed the front passenger moving something into his waistband. They immediately checked his waistband and located a handgun hidden in that location. This same subject possessed some marijuana also. They also located other narcotics in the car. The gun was stolen in 2008 from Vallejo. The driver (Raymona Scott 7/24/88) was arrested on narcotic charges, the 17 yr. old passenger was arrested for his warrant and the 16 yr. old passenger was arrested on gun charges. 5:03 pm, South/Haywood, Parolee Arrest Del paso Heights Officers Marks and Lopes arrested a parolee at large at the above location. Curtis Jones 6/6/67 was booked into jail for his parole warrant.

12/27/09 6:20 pm, 1100 block of Los Robles, Car Jacking Hagginwood The victim stated he was driving his car in the above area. The suspect stopped his car and pulled a shotgun on the victim. The suspect was joined by a 2nd suspect and they got the victim out of his car. They took property from the victim and fled in his car. The car is a Blue 1999 Dodge Durango (Lic# 5UIE591) and still hasn't been located. Suspect#1. male black adult, 2426 yrs., 5'2" to 5'5", 150 lbs, long hair in pony tail, black sweater w/ green stripes, tattoo's on arm and neck. #2. female black adult, 20-21 yrs., 5'5", 150 lbs, red sweater.

12/26/09 11:45pm, 1900 Bell Ave (Bell Ave School), Burglary, Officers responded to the school for a ringing alarm. Nothing was missing except a safe. This might be related to another school burglary and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone that observes suspicious activity around our schools - please call the police immediately!

7:59 pm, 3621 Marysville Blvd (Mini Mart), Armed Robbery Del Paso Heights 3 suspects entered the store at gun point. They robbed the store. At the same time, Officer Elliot was hailed by a person that told her of the robbery taking place. Officer Elliot and Sgt. Lange pulled into the parking lot as the suspect's were coming out the door. 2 suspect's jumped the wall and ran west from the business. The 3 suspect was coming out the door right as Officer Elliot was coming in the door. He fled back into the business. The store owner chased the suspect to the back along with one of the clerks. One was armed with a gun and the other with a bat. They caught the suspect in the back of the store and detained him with the bat. Officers eventually got the suspect in custody but the other 2 suspect's got away. The suspect was taken to the hospital with significant injuries suffered by the bat. Later the next day, officers were escorting him to the squad car after being cleared by the hospital with a cast on one hand and his jaw wired. He escaped from the officers wearing a hospital gown. He broke into a garage on 42/U st. through an unlocked door. he took some gloves from inside the garage. about 40 minutes later he was located hiding in the garage by a k-9. Dejuan Henry 12/20/81 (lives on Lampasas) was arrested North Sac Cops Log | 3    

for robbery, resisting arrest, burglary and parole violation. 7:30 pm, 704 Eleanor #3, Drug Arrest Noralto The POP team went to the above location to conduct a probation search. When they got inside the apartment, one of the suspect attempted to walk to the back bedroom against the officers orders. He was stopped by the officers. Officers located inside the apartment - money, illegal prescription pills, a scale, baggie of methamphetamine, metal box of methamphetamine, marijuana, and a narcotic pipe. Charles Buchanan 2/16/88 was arrested on drug charges.

12/24/09 10:20 pm, 200 block of Olmstead Dr, Home Invasion Strawberry Manor The victim pulled into his driveway when 3 suspect's approached him. One put a gun to his back and told him to go into the house. 2 more suspects with guns followed into the house. They tied up the victim and other 2 occupants of the house and took numerous items. Suspect #1. Male black adult, 20's, 5'10", black jacket w/ hood, ski mask and black gloves, #2. male black adult, dark complexion, 20's, thin, dark clothing, #3. male Hispanic or male white, 20's, medium build, dark clothing and ski mask. 4:03 pm, Grand/Marysville, Gun Arrest Del paso Heights One of our newly hired officers (in training) was off duty and driving at the above location. He observed the suspect jay walk across Grand Ave which made several cars stop. He pulled over next to the suspect and advised him about jaywalking. The suspect opened his jacket and brandished a handgun at the off duty officer. The officer immediately drove off and hailed Sgt. Camous. Sgt. Camous located the suspect in the area of Grand/Marysville. The suspect fled from Sgt. Camous as soon as he pulled up. The suspect threw the fully loaded handgun over a fence near the Market Basket and jumped a couple of fences before being caught on Balsam/Grand. The gun was located by officers and was fully loaded. Simeon Summers 2/20/89 was arrested on numerous gun charges (including ex-felon w/ a gun), brandishing, and violation of probation. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the area of Arden Way. They wrote 23 citations, and towed 4 cars. North Sac Cops Log | 4    

12/23/09 8:13 pm, 1701 Ethan Wy (Men's Warehouse), Robbery, The victim was getting out of her car when the suspect approached her. He grabbed her purse and fled to a red SUV that was waiting. The driver of the SUV was described as a Female white, 30-49 yrs.. the suspect was described as male black adult, 22-29 yrs., medium build, black sweatshirt w/ white writing. The car was a Red SUV. (poss. a chevy blazer or ford bronco. 6:49 pm, 1689 Arden (Sephora's), Theft Arrest, Arden Fair Officers responded to the above location regarding a shoplifter. Security arrested her and gave her to the officers. An Airsoft replica gun was found in her purse. She stated she was having medical issues so she was transported to the hospital. Eventually she was booked into the jail. Maria Perez 6/22/69 (lives in the East Area) was arrested on felony theft charges. 5:15 pm, 3173 Marysville blvd (Arcade market), Robbery, Hagginwood The suspect entered the Arcade market and put 2 cans of Old English in his pockets and began to leave the store without paying. The clerk stopped him and he gave him the beer. The suspect left the store but grabbed a pack of cigarettes on his way out. The clerk again stopped the suspect in the parking lot demanding the property back. The suspect punched the clerk and threatened to kill him. The suspect then went to the Quick Stop (3296 Marysville Blvd) and stole a 12 and 18 pack of beer. Officers located the suspect at Sheldon/Christie. Michael Foster 10/1/91 was arrested for petty theft, battery, threats and robbery. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the area of Arden Wy/Del Paso Blvd (N. Sac). They wrote 48 traffic citations, gave 3 warnings, and towed 4 cars. The DUI team worked the area around Arden Fair Mall. They made 5 DUI arrests. The Traffic team worked the Arden Way area and wrote 39 traffic citations, gave 1 warning, and towed 6 cars.

12/22/09 10:48 pm, 1689 Arden (Arden Fair Mall), Shoe Release/Crowd Issue Officers working at Arden Fair called for cover when the crowd began to push and fight. There were over 2,000 people at the mall for the release of the new Nike Space Jam shoe. Numerous Sac PD, CHP and Sheriff's Deputies responded to disperse the crowd. Security closed the sale and the crowd was dispersed. 8:36 pm, 4211 Norwood (Viva Market), Robbery Glenwood Meadows North Sac Cops Log | 5    

The suspect entered the store, filled his shopping cart with groceries. He headed to the door when an employee asked him if he was going to pay for the items. The suspect punched the employee and knocked him to the floor. He then grabbed several bottles of champagne and fled to a car outside. Suspect: male black adult, 35 yrs., black hat, jacket. Car: silver Olds or Buick lifted with Large rims. He has been a customer in the store before. 7:39pm, clay/alamos, robbery Hagginwood The victim was driving his motorcycle in the above area. He stopped and a subject pulled him from his bike. He started choking him while another suspect began to kick him. They demanded his property and took something from his pockets. A neighbor yelled at the suspect and the fled on foot. The victim picked up his bike and was talking to the neighbor when the suspect's returned. They hit the victim with a pool stick and left again. Suspect: #1 male white adult, 2530 yrs., 5'9", 160 lbs, plaid flannel shirt. #2. male adult.

12/21/09 10:48 pm, 700 block of Granger, Home Invasion Robla The victim lives in the garage of the residence. Two suspect's forced open the door and tied the victim up. They hit him several times with a handgun. They took several items such as a computer, stereo equipment and the victim's wallet. At some point the victim was knocked unconscious. The suspect's were described as two Male Black Adults - one described as - Male black adult, 5'8", 200 lbs, black jacket, gloves and red/white plastic pants. 6:00 am, Branch/Eleanor, Robbery Noralto The victim was walking home when 4 suspect's approached. They told the victim to empty his pockets. They hit him with a bat and a large flashlight. They took money and jewelry from the victim. The victim has injuries to his head and legs. The suspects were described as 4 Male Hispanic Adults.

12/20/09 11:38 pm, 2500 block of Altos, Parolee arrest Noralto Officers Spencer and Hawley located and arrested a parolee at large. Marilyn Milner 1/5/84 was booked at the jail. 12:28 am, 1896 Arden Wy (Kohl's), Burglary Arrest North Sac Cops Log | 6    

Point West Security contacted officers about two subjects possibly trying to steal items from the store. One subject was in the parking lot in a Green Ford SUV and the other suspect was stacking items near the door. Officers stayed on the phone with security and when the suspect ran out of the store with property, attempting to get into the waiting SUV, the officers stopped him. They also stopped the waiting SUV. The suspects were attempting to steal over $1,000 worth of items from the store. Tyler Hernandez 12/4/75 (transient) was arrested for burglary and conspiracy. Anthony Deoliveira 8/30/85 (Lives on Madison) was arrested for burglary, conspiracy and violation of probation. Great job by Security! 12:06 am, 2001 Point West (Double Tree Hotel), Fight Point West Officers responded to the club at the hotel regarding a fight inside the bar. Security had all parties detained but the crowd was still slightly hostile. No one needed medical attention.

12/19/09 4:56 am, Rivera/Belden, Assault Hagginwood Officers responded to the above area regarding a fight in the street. There was possibly a shotgun brandished during the fight. Officers arrived and several subjects ran from the area. Several were detained but no suspects arrested. Soon officers were advised a subject showed up at the hospital with a stab wound that supposedly happened during the fight. At 6:30 am, dayshift officers conducted follow up on this issue and went to 1108 Rivera to attempt to locate the possible shotgun. They located a stolen sawed off shotgun (stolen in 1994) and some ammunition inside the house. Stacey Gonzalez 2/11/71 was arrested for possession of stolen property, and several gun charges - including ex-felon in possession of a gun. 2:26 am, 1701 Arden Wy (Macy's), Battery/Parolee/Arrest, Arden Fair Mall Security call police regarding two intoxicated subjects that refused to leave the property. Officers Scheile and Severi arrived and contacted both subjects. One subject was unresponsive and female subject was holding onto him. The Fire Dept. was called to render first aid. When fire arrived, the female subject refused to release the male subject so the Fire Department could check him out. Officers attempted to remove the female subject and she began to swing her fists at the officers. She then kicked the officers several times. They eventually got her handcuffed and fire rendered first aid to the male subject. He was ok, but extremely intoxicated. He was also on parole. Richard Weddle 5/14/84 was arrested for parole violation and Danika Landrum 11/2/89 was arrested for battery on an officer. They were both transient.

12/18/09 9:57 pm, 1704 Grand Ave, Drug Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers observed a Geo sedan pull out of the Rainbow Market with expired registration. Officers stopped the car in front of 1704 Grand Ave. The driver was on probation for a stolen car and the passenger was on parole for theft. A search of the car revealed over 12 illegal Vicodin pills, a narcotic pipe and a stun gun. They went to arrest the passenger and he began to threaten officers. He said he would kick their butt and spit in their face. He was handcuffed and placed in the back of the car. He continued to threaten to kill the officers as he was in the back seat of the car. Derek Caesar 4/26/79 was arrested on drug charges, and resisting officers and parole violation. 8:18 pm, 1140 Roanoke (Mama Marks Park), Drug Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers Young and Cunningham observed a male subject in the childs area of the park. The park was closed so the contacted the subject. He had a baggie of over 40 illegal methadone pills and had a felony warrant out of San Francisco. Allen Bowling 8/9/78 (transient) was arrested for drugs and his warrant. 7:46 pm, Norwood/lampasas, Pursuit/Stolen Car/Arrest Noralto Officers Macaulay and Galliano observed a green Toyota Tacoma speeding in the above area with no headlights on. The truck ran the stop sign at Grove/Lampasas. They attempted to stop the truck but it continued into a pursuit. The truck ran another stop sign and eventually crashed into a fence at 2657 Gary Wy. The suspect fled from officers on foot. Officers caught him as he was attempting to jump a fence. The truck turned out to be stolen and had a "cold" plated (another license plate put on the stolen car so when officers run the plate...it doesn't come back as stolen). Bruce Roberts 6/6/71 (transient) was arrested the stolen car, possession of stolen property, evading officers and hit and run. 9:38 am, 820 Lampasas #3, Drug Arrests Noralto Officer Davis went to the above location to conduct a probation search regarding possible drug activity. When he arrived he observed a subject in the window of the apartment with money in her hands. He stopped her as she yelled to the people inside the house. There were several people inside the house that refused to follow the commands of the officer to sit down. One left the room and entered the bathroom. Officers forced open the door and detained all the subjects inside. The located a baggie of rock cocaine in the toilet in addition to a narcotic pipe in the toilet. One subject kept reaching into his waistband as he was detained by officers. Fearing he had a gun, they searched him and located money and another baggie of rock cocaine. This same subject asked the officers if he could have his sweatshirt because he was cold. Officers retrieved North Sac Cops Log | 8    

his sweatshirt but searched it before giving it to him. They located additional baggies of rock cocaine in the sweatshirt. They also located money and a scale in the house. Terrell Baker 4/27/90 was arrested on drug charges. Warren Wilkerson 5/19/64 was arrested on drug charges and probation violation.

12/17/09 8:10 pm, Grand/Pinnell, Gun Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Officers Harshbarger and Bryan contacted two subjects (man and woman) inside a Buick at the above location. A search of the car revealed a loaded handgun on the floorboard of the car. Johnathan Simmons 3/26/81 and heather Boettcher 2/16/78 were both arrested on gun charges. 11:39 am, 1345 Los Robles, Tresspassing/Arrest Hagginwood Officers received a call of a woman breaking into a vacant house. Officers arrived and located the broken window and saw a guy and girl inside the home. Both of them refused to follow officers commands and kept moving around and putting their hands into their pockets. The male suspect eventually complied with officers commands, but the female suspect continued to not follow commands. Eventually officers forced open the door and attempted to handcuff the female suspect after she was pepper sprayed. She continued to pull away from officers, but was eventually handcuffed. She had also been drinking. The 16 yr. old female suspect was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest. The 14 yr. old male was cited and released for trespassing. 11:02 am, Dayton/Harris, Gun Arrest E. Del Paso Heights SWAT officers were working the area when they observed three subjects walking in the area. When they turned their car around, all 3 subjects took off running and jumping fences. One was caught on the street, one was caught hiding in a garage and the 3rd was caught attempting to hide on a roof. They also located a handgun in a leaf pile on the street. James Gray 10/4/91 was arrested on gun charges.

12/16/09 7:10 pm, Dry Creek/North, Pursuit/Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers Harshbarger and Bryan attempted to stop a Chevy Camero at the above location. The car fled from them at speeds well over 100 mph north on Dry Creek. The officers cancelled the pursuit due to the dangers it posed. The suspect eventually went down a dead end road in Rio North Sac Cops Log | 9    

Linda and fled on foot from the car - leaving his female passenger in the car. Ultimately the helicopter found him hiding in the creek bed up to his thighs in water. Officers and the K-9 took him into custody. Andre Hawkins 12/29/84 was arrested for felony evading (pursuit), violation of probation and resisting arrest. 8:30 am, Blackwood Wy & 3500 block of Elkhart Wy, Burglary Arrest Woodlake& N. Natomas A female suspect rang the victim's doorbell 20-30 times. The victim did not answer. The victim then saw the suspect get into a white car and and drive to the corner. She then rang the doorbell of the neighbors house. The neighbor answered the door and the suspect acted like she was looking for someone that didn't live there. The suspect then went back to the victim's house and rang her doorbell again. The victim again didn't answer the door and the suspect went to the back sliding glass door and attempted to get inside the home. The suspect wasn't successful and then got back into the white car with another male subject. The victim had already called the police. Officer Becerra located a white car leaving the area and attempted to stop it at Sparrow/Myotis. The suspect's fled in their car and officers lost them in the area of Duckhorn/Myotis. Several good citizens pointed officers in the direction the suspects fled - which was south on Duckhorn. They eventually found the car in the apartment complex at San Juan/Duckhorn. They also located both suspects attempting to leave the area on foot. Around the car they located a screw driver and some gloves. The car was also a stolen car. Both suspects were arrested. Officers Auger and Silva remembered a burglary in the Woodlake (500 block of Blackwood) area that involved suspects with a similar description on 12/1/09 @ 10:20 am. This information was given to detectives. Detectives were able to get the female suspect positively identified by the witnesses on the Blackwood burglary. Brianna Tibayan 10/30/89 (lives on Dymic Wy in the Robla neighborhood) was arrested on 2 counts of Attempted burglary, conspiracy, possession of burglary tools, and violation of probation. Troy Smith 1/10/87 was arrested for attempt burglary, stolen car, conspiracy, possession of burglary tools, evading officers, no drivers license, and violation of probation. GREAT call by the victim on suspicious activity!! 2:38 am, Shelden/South, Stolen Car E. Del Paso Heights Officer Smith located a stolen car at the above location. He located two narcotic pipes in the sock of the suspect also. Anthony Castro 3/12/76 was arrested for the stolen car and the narcotic pipes. 1:17 am, 4000 Norwood (AM/PM), robbery Robla The victim went into the store and bought some beer. When she came out, the suspect assaulted her and took the beer. The suspect fled with 3 male black juveniles and 1 female black

juvenile. Suspect: Male black adult, 21 yrs., 5'3", black shirt. They fled west on Jessie. 12:57 am, Calvados/Evergreen, Arrest N. Sac Officers Murawski and Pevehouse stopped a car for expired registration. The passenger was on probation and lied about her name. Officers determined her real name and found her to have 4 warrants out of Trinity county and Shasta County. They also located a purse/wallet with another I.D. inside. The purse was stolen in October from Arden Way. Kimberly Silva 2/7/67 was arrested for possession of stolen property, and lying about her name - in addition to the warrants.

12/15/09 9:55pm, 1990 San Juan (Woodbridge Apts), Homicide S. Natomas The 19 yr. old victim and a friend were leaving their apartment and getting in to their car. 3 male black suspects (wearing dark clothing) approached and shot the victim multiple times. The friend fled on foot without being injured. The suspect's fled the area. 1:28 pm, Norwood/Lampasas, Hit and Run Hagginwood Witnesses called police after they witnessed a white Cadillac hit a child on a bicycle and leave the scene. Officers caught the car and suspect but could not located the victim. The victim is described as a female Asian juvenile, 12 yrs. old, riding a small bmx type bike. We have the suspect identified but need to located the victim. If anyone has information as to the identity of this small girl, please call us. Anti Burglary/Robbery Task Force Update 2801 Grove #4 - The task force and detectives went to this location to conduct a parole search. They located just under 4 lbs of marijuana (packaged), stolen cameras, a laptop, and over 3,000 ecstasy pills. One suspect was not home, but his brother was home and was on parole. David Konepachit 3/18/84 was arrested for a parole violation. Officers continue to look for the brother. Traffic The traffic team worked Del Paso Rd between Arden and Marysville. They wrote 22 citations, gave 1 warning, and towed 5 cars.

12/14/09 8:44 pm, Grove/El Monte, Drug/Gun Arrest North Sac Cops Log | 11    

N. Sac Officers stopped 2 subjects at the above location. They located a loaded gun in the trunk and some illegal pills. Brian Overson 2/13/89 was arrested on gun charges and Bryant Matthews 2/26/88 was arrested on drug charges and probation violation.

12/13/09 10:59 pm, Beaumont/Lampasas, Drug/Parolee Arrest Noralto Officers Hawley and Spencer stopped 3 subjects on bikes. One was on probation and they found a couple of baggies of metheamphetamine and a baggie of marijuana in his pant leg. They went to his house at 2787 Altos and conducted a probation search - nothing found. While at the house, they located a Parolee at Large. Ricky Garcia 7/14/82 was arrested on drug charges and Darren Rogers 7/10/68 was arrested on his parole warrant. 7:41 pm, 1900 Canterbury Rd (Canterbury Inn), Robbery Woodlake The suspect pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded money. The clerk told the suspect he only had a small amount of money and the suspect walked away north on Canterbury (nothing was taken). Suspect: male Hispanic Adult, 40's, thick mustache, black hair, big bright red jacket.

12/12/09 3:49 pm, 1424 Rene Ave, Armed Robbery Del Paso Heights The victims went to the above address to purchase some pit bull puppies. Once they got inside the house they were robbed at gunpoint by two suspects. Suspects: #1 male white adult, 20's, 5'10", red jacket..#2. male black adult 20's, 6'0", skinny, red beanie and black hoodie. They were possibly driving a red Accord. 3:10 am, 2400 Del Paso (Shell Station), Stolen Car/Arrest N. Sac Officer Severi located a stolen car at the gas station. The suspect was sitting inside the car until the officer pulled in - then he attempted to walk away. The suspect was on probation for theft related charges. Otto Chavez 8/4/88 was arrested for the stolen car, possession of stolen property and violation of probation. 12:02 am, 1896 Arden (Kohl's), Robbery North Sac Cops Log | 12    

Point West The suspect ran into the store near closing time and jumped the jewelry counter. He told the clerk he had a gun and was holding a hammer. The suspect took the jewelry and fled with a 2nd suspect. The suspects were both described as male black adults, 25-30 yrs., medium height and both wearing dark clothing. They were possibly in a 4-door white car - possibly a Mitsubishi.

12/11/09 11:07 pm, 845 El Camino (Wienerschnitzel), Robbery N. Sac The suspect entered the doorway near the drive thru and took the cash drawer. the suspect simulated a gun but none was actually seen. The employees recognized the suspect as a regular in the area. Witnesses pointed out a couple of subjects that are often with the suspects. Both of these subjects were parolees. Officers contacted them and one of them was a Parolee at Large Jerry Wilson 5/9/58 was arrested for his Parole warrant. Officers Spencer and Hawley conducted extensive follow up and were able to identify a suspect. On 12/12/09 they went to 3840 Fig and arrested the robbery suspect. Shone Lacey 10/15/76 was arrested for the robbery. 4:00 pm, 3806 Huron, Drug Arrests Del Paso Heights The North POP Team served a search warrant at the above house. They located cocaine, packaging, and a scale. Deandre Zachary 10/22/80 was arrested on drug charges and child endangerment charges. A woman was also arrested for child endangerment. Another subject was arrested for a warrant and a 4th suspect was arrested for having an illegal weapon - brass knuckles.

12/10/09 2:18 pm, 1760 Challenge (Tri Counties Bank), Bank Robbery Point West The suspect entered the bank and said he had a gun (none seen). He took money and fled the bank on foot. Suspect: Male white adult, 20's, 5'10", slender, 155 lbs., black fedora style hat, sunglasses, dark jacket and tattoo on neck. 12:39 pm, 500 block of Rimmer, Burglary/Arrest Northgate/Gardenland/Strawberry Manor The victim was inside his home when he heard a noise at the window of his children's room. The power to his home then went out. He went outside and saw the suspect standing near his circuit breaker box. The suspect had also cut the screen to the bedroom window. suspect immediately fled on foot. The victim chased the suspect and eventually caught him on the Silver Eagle bridge and called police. Officers arrived and found several circuit breakers, 2 screw drivers and a wire cutter in a duffle bag the suspect was carrying. Allen Park 3/13/65 (lives in N. Sac) was arrested for attempt burglary, felony theft, and warrants. He is a male white adult, 5'11", 145 lbs. 12:00 pm, 4025 Astoria, Gun Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Gang Detectives, SWAT and the North POP team served 3 search warrants on various homes in N. Sac. As they pulled up to the 4th house (Astoria) they observed several subjects leaving in a white Buick. POP Officers stopped the car at I-80/Winters. Inside the car they located a handgun. In the trunk they located a stolen Assault Rifle. The Assault Rifle was stolen in the County in 2007. Shiren Crump 3/14/89 was arrested on gun charges (including possession of illegal assault rifle), possession of stolen property and committing a felony while out on bail (he was on bail for a burglary/possession of stolen property arrest). Latrele Neil 1/25/90 was arrested for the same charges (except the bail charge). 11:04 pm, Del paso/Eleanor, Gun/Drug/Arrest Hagginwood Officer Murawski stopped a red Ford pickup at the above location for expired registration. The female passenger was on searchable probation. They both stated they just met each other. Officers located 3 bindles of rock cocaine inside the truck. They also located a handgun on the floorboard. Jeffren Avery 6/30/61 (lives in Carmichael) was arrested on gun charges. Cheryl Childers 9/6/65 was arrested on drug charges and violation of probation. 9:45 am, Lampasas/Beaumont, Arrest Noralto Officers Sabra and Davis stopped a subject on a bicycle. The subject was on searchable probation. As the officers were talking to him, he ran from them. He ran through yards and jumped fences. They eventually found him in a vacant house at 815 Lampasas. He came out after the K-9 arrived and began to bark. Thomas Franklin 7/23/83 was arrested for trespassing and violation of probation.

12/9/09 5:00 pm, 885 Dixieanne, Parolee Arrest N. Sac Officers Harshbarger and Bryan contacted a parolee at the above location. A search of the residence revealed 3 rifles the parolee had access to. Officers contacted the parole agent and a parole violation was aurthorized. Ronald Mosby 3/16/60 was arrested for the parole violation.

4:33 pm, Rio Linda/Arcade, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers observed what looked like a drug deal in the gas station. They approached and all subjects began to walk away. A short foot pursuit ensued but the suspect was caught. They located several bags of marijuana. Benny Sneede 7/4/56 (lives at Fulton/El Camino) was arrested on drug charges and probation violation. Wayne Cissney 4/26/91 (lives in N. Highlands) was arrested on a warrant. 2:19 am, Austin/Bell, Car Burglaries/Arrests Glenwood Meadows Officers responded to a call of 3 people breaking into cars on Grace Ave. They were supposed to be dressed in all black hoodies and driving a green Honda. K-9 Officer Thompson responded on the call and observed a green Honda leaving the neighborhood. Officers stopped the car and observed stereo speakers, stereo face plate, wires and a box of headlamps inside the car. Further search revealed that each suspect had gloves and a watch cap. The driver had a screw driver in his pocket and there were several more screw drivers in the glove box. Additional officers checked the area of Grace Ave and located 3 different recent car buglaries - two in the the 100 block of Grace and one in the 4400 block of Austin. All the property from each car burglary was located inside the green Honda. Thaet Vue 12/4/89 was arrested for the burglaries along with the 16 yr and 14 yr. old subjects with him. They all live in North Sacramento. GREAT call by a concerned neighborhood resident calling in suspicious activity. 12:30 am, Forrest/El Monte, Stabbing N. Sac The victim stated he was walking at the above location. He stated the suspect began to circle him on a bicycle and then stabbed him with a kitchen knife in his chest. We received the call after the victim arrived at the hospital. Suspect: male white adult, 30-40 yrs., 5'8", dark pants, grey beard, riding a bike. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked areas in North Sac and Northgate Blvd near Smythe Academy. They wrote 44 citations, gave 2 warnings and towed 8 cars. Homicide Update On 11/21/08 @ 8:48 pm , 20-yr. old Jonah Simms was walking with a friend on Bowles St. near Traction. The suspect confronted him and they got into an argument. The suspect shot and killed Simms. On 12/9/09, 23 yr. old Arthur McCall was arrested on drug charges. He has since been charged with the murder of Jonah Simms.

12/7/09 10:07 pm, Boxwood/El Camino, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Murawski and Pevehouse stopped a Black Chevy Trailblazer at the above location. A search of the suspect revealed a narcotic pipe and methamphetamine in his pocket. Harvey Ortberg 8/27/68 was arrested on drug charges. 6:41 pm, 3824 Natoma Wy, Gun/Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Officers Bryan and Harshbarger contacted two subjects inside a parked car (green Acura Integra) at the above location. They smelled marijuana when they approached. A search of the car revealed a handgun hidden behind the dashboard. Chat Van 5/20/90 was arrested on gun charges including ex-felon in possession of a gun. 5:51pm, 401 El Camino (Thirft Town), Car Burglary N. Sac Officers received a call of 2 subjects casing to break into cars in the 1900 block of Del Paso Rd. They were supposed to be driving a silver Grand Am. Officers observed a Silver Grand Am pulling out of the Thrift Town Parking lot. They eventually stopped the car as it pulled into the parking lot of T& Y Market at 2835 Norwood. The license plate on the car didn't belong to the car. The real license plate was expired in 2006. The driver was on searchable probation and had a suspended drivers license. The passenger was on parole for robbery. Officers located property inside the car including a purse, pill bottle and a book. They also located a window punch, flashlight and gloves inside the car. A little follow up revealed a car was just broken into in the Thrift Town parking lot where the pill bottle, book and purse were stolen. Phayvanh Khamkeuneku 6/5/80 was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and parole violation. Bounmy Vanlakith 4/1/75 was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, violation of probation and suspended drivers license. GREAT job by someone calling in suspicious activity!! 5:35 pm, 2138 Del Paso Blvd (In front of Goldies), Robbery N. Sac The victim was walking on Del Paso in front of Goldies. Two suspects ran up behind the victim and pushed her down and took the two purses that she was carrying. Suspect #1. male black adult, 30's, dark complexion, 5'8", dark clothing w/ long dread locks. #2. Male black adult, 30's, dark complexion wearing a dark jacket with white shoulders. 12/6/09 10:49 pm, Arden Fair, "Bait" Car/Arrest, A "Bait" car was placed at Arden Fair to help combat the number of stolen cars taken in North Sac. Someone stole the car and officers eventually got the car stopped at the Target at Alta Arden/Fulton. The driver would not follow officers instructions and was found to have been drinking and on Parole. Terry Cotton 12/10/72 was arrested for the stolen car, possession of stolen property, DUI, parole violation and 2 warrants. 3:07 am, Truxel/Garden Hwy, Pursuit/DUI/Arrest North Sac Officer Stone observed a Silver Chevy Silverado truck speeding a swerving at Truxel/Garden Hwy. He attempted to stop the truck at Northgate/Garden Hwy. The truck continued on and the officer pursued it on El Camino to Howe Ave. Officers forced the car to stop at El Camino/Howe Ave. The driver was found to be intoxicated. Roberto Soto 7/16/89 was arrested for evading officers and DUI. He lives in Woodland.

12/5/09 11:19 pm, Verano/Del Paso Blvd, Gun/parolee/Arrest Hagginwood POP Officers stopped a maroon mercedes at the above location with 3 people inside. One of the passengers was on parole. A search of the car revealed a loaded gun under the drivers seat. The gun was stolen on 2/3/09 in a burglary in the South Area. The people in the car stated they just came from the football playoff game in Folsom. Kelvin Rich 6/12/90 was arrested on gun charges and possession of stolen property. Anthony Johnson 4/5/84 was arrested for parole violation. 12:16 pm, 3721 Balsam, Gun Arrest Del paso Heights Officer Jarvis contacted a subject standing in front of the above location. He was on searchable probation and a search revealed a key in his pocket. He stated he didn't live at this location and the key did not go to this location. Officers knocked on the door and tested the key - it fit the lock at this location. They were able to determine he in fact did live at this residence. They also found a loaded handgun under his mattress. Officer Jarvis contacted a male and female subject at the above location. The male subject was on parole. The officers noticed he was holding a baggie in his hand. The baggie contained rock cocaine. Tyrone Sturges 9/9/68 was arrested on drug charges and parole violation. 1:09 am, Fairfield/Redwood, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Spencer and Hawley stopped a tan Buick at the above location. There were two people in the car. They both stated they were not on probation...but officers were able to determine they were both on searchable probation. They also located other information from the subjects and in the car that indicated they were involved in drug sales. A search of the car didn't reveal anything illegal. Officers called over a K-9 to search the car. The K-9 hit on something in the truck. Officers located a hidden compartment in the trunk that contained several baggies of marijuana. Antonio Gaitan 6/19/84 (lives in W. Sac) was arrested on drug charges, conspiracy and a warrant. Lloyd Gonzales 1/30/90 (lives in East Sac) was arrested on drug charges, conspiracy and driving without a license.

12/4/09 10:21 pm, Arcade/Del Mar, Drug/Parolee/Arrest Hagginwood POP Officers stopped a Grey Chevy Blazer they had previously dealt with regarding several burglaries. There were two people in the car - one on parole and the other on probation. The female passenger was found to be holding rock cocaine and marijuana in her bra. Officers went to the suspects home in Antelope and search the home but didn't find anything illegal. Michael Ford 9/9/71 was arrested on drug charges, parole violation and warrants. Tiffany Nash 3/1/78 was arrested on drug charges. 8:40 pm, Howe/Alta Arden, Stolen Car/Arrest, Officer Cunningham located a stolen white Jeep. He stopped the car at the above location. The suspect was driving the car with a shaved key. The car was stolen on 10/5/09 from Taft/El Camino. Lester Fish 8/29/81 (lives in Citrus Heights) was arrested for the stolen car and possession of stolen property. 12:59 pm, 1040 Grand Ave, Parolee/Warrant/Arrest Del Paso Heights Officer Kroupa contacted several subjects that were standing near a blue Chevy Suburban. Most of the subjects were dressed in all blue clothing. Several of the subjects were on parole or probation. One had a felony warrant out of W. Sac. Billy Woods 9/27/77 was arrested for the warrant. Christopher Anderson 9/28/85 was arrested for parole violation.

2:47 pm, Eleanor/Traction, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers contacted 4 subjects carrying a mattress down the bike trail. 1 person was on probation and a search revealed methamphetamine in his pocket. Another subject had a DUI warrant. Kenneth Hamlin 12/30/66 was arrested on drug charges and Karen Corneli 3/8/59 was arrested for her warrant. 11:19 am, 1816 South Ave, Drug Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Officer McGlinchey conducted a probation search at the above address due to possible drug sales activity. He located methamphetamine. Leo Simental 3/31/80 was arrested on drug charges. Francisco Castro 8/11/79 was arrested on a no bail drug warrant. 9:21 am, 3724 Lily St, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Sabra, Rafiq, and Davis went ot the above location on a probation search. They located Heroin in a boot in the closet and money. Jacoby Augustus 4/25/79 was arrested on drug charges. Traffic Enforcment The DUI Enforcement team worked North Sac and Natomas before moving to downtown. They made 1 DUI arrest, wrote 21 traffic citations, and towed 1 car. The Traffic team worked Arden Wy from Del Paso to Ethan. They wrote 89 citations, gave 2 warnings, and towed 14 cars.

12/1/09 10:04 pm, 3600 block of Willow, Warrant/Probation/Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Officers responded to a disturbance call regarding the suspect. They arrived and located the suspect who was on probation and had an outstanding drug warrant. Officers arrested Danny Easter 12/8/83 for his warrant and violation of probation. 9:56 pm, 2100 block of Verano St, Home Invasion Hagginwood Three suspect broke into the victim's home which had a marijuana grow. The suspect's were armed with handguns and took the victim's marijuana. The suspects were described as 3 male adults, 2 wearing puffy jackets with masks. During the robbery, one of the suspects shot at one of the victim's as he was attempting to run away. No one was hit. 3:15 pm, Woodlake/Blackrock, Rape Woodlake Neighborhood The victim got off light rail and the suspect approached her. After they spoke for a while the victim went with the suspect to his car that was parked near woodlake park. The victim observed a large butcher knife the suspect was carrying and got into his car. Soon the victim wanted to get out of his car, but the suspect wouldn't let her. He drove into the Woodlake neighborhood and threatened her with a gun. He parked in the above area and sexually assaulted her. He then drove off and pushed her out of the car. The suspects possibly hangs out in the area often and has a very distinct car. Suspect Car: 2 door compact, off white color with a darker passenger door w/ maroon interior. Suspect: Male Black Adult, 30's, muscular build, 6'2", light complexion, short black curly hair wearing a grey zipper hoodie and dark jeans. Red and white Air Jordan shoes. If you see this car or suspect....Call 9-1-1 immediately!! 12:17 pm, Belden/Alamos, Armed Robbery Hagginwood The victim and her two daughters were walking after cashing a check. The suspect rode up on a bicycle and asked the victim for change. As she opened her purse to give him change, he pushed her down and took her purse. The victim's two daughters grabbed the purse and struggled with the suspect. The suspect pulled out a gun and then fled with the purse. Suspect: male black adult, 6'2", 260 lbs, black hoodie and dirty jeans. Riding a blue mountain bike. 9:45 am, 500 block of Blackwood St, Burglary Woodlake The suspect (female - possibly Hispanic) walked up to a neighbors door and knocked. The neighbor knew they weren't home. The suspect then started talking on her cell phone and walked to the back yard of the house. The suspect soon came out of the back yard and began to walk away. She got into a car that had two male subjects inside (possibly Teenage Hispanic males). The neighbors confronted the suspects and the fled off immediately (even with the door open). These people were obviously attempting to burglarize the home since there were also pry marks on the back door to the home. The neighbors probably scared them away and prevented a burglary - GREAT JOB by the Neighbors!!! Suspect vehicle was a Black Honda with no front license plate - possibly with duct tape where the plate goes - possibly a 1990's Honda. BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THESE SUSPECTS AND CAR AND CALL IN IF YOU SEE IT!!!

11/30/09 10:41 pm, Oakmont/Del Paso, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Maccauley and Young stopped a subject on a bicycle. He was on probation and had cocaine in his pocket. Marcus Littlejohn 8/25/88 was arrested on drug charges and violation of probation. 10:27 pm, Haywood/North, Drug Arrest Del paso Heights Officers Harshbarger and Marks contacted two subjects in a silver Hyundai. The passenger was on parole. They located over 50 pieces of rock cocaine in the car. Fred Harris 8/12/58 was arrested on drug charges and Taranda Dacus 3/31/67 was arrested on a parole violation. 7:00 pm, 157 Gunnison, Stolen Property Glenwood Meadows Officers went to this location to conduct a parole search related to several burglaries in the East Area. They located the parolee and stolen property from one of the burglaries. The investigation continues into this subject and his part in the burglaries. 8:20 am, Northgate/Wilson (Smythe Academy), Fatal Hit & Run Northgate/Gardenland A 4-yr old boy was riding his scooter in front of his brother and grandmother on the sidewalk. A car pulled out of the schools parking lot and hit the child and drug him into the street. The car continued south on Northgate without stopping. The boy was taken to the hospital where he ultimately passed away from his injuries. This tragedy happened in front of his brother and grandmother and if anyone has information regarding the identity of the suspect - they need to call us immediately. Attached is a copy of the press release with a picture of the possible suspect car. 5:59 am, 100 block of Spartan Wy, Home Invasion Glenwood Meadows Two suspects entered the house armed with guns. They robbed the victim's of their marijuana and fled the home. Suspects: 2 male black adults and 1 male white adult wearing masks. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked various locations in N. 11/28/09 10:23 pm, Del Paso Blvd/Oxford, Drug/Parolee/Arrest N. Sac Officers Canepa and Fong were riding bicycles on the boulevard. They contacted 3 subjects walking in the area and one dropped a baggie as they approached and kept walking. They told him to stop but he continued to walk away. They eventually got him to stop and sit on the curb. He soon jumped up and ran from the officers. They caught him at Forrest/Del paso. He was on parole and had dropped a bag of marijuana. Szabo Williams 8/27/85 was arrested on drug charges, parole violation and resisting officers.

11/27/09 9:30 pm, Radisson Hotel, Large Fight Officers responded to assist with a fight that broke out at the Radisson during a Hmong New Years party. About 10 officers responded to assist in shutting down the party. 5:55 pm, Del Paso/Plaza, Traffic collision N. Sac Two pedestrians were walking in the cross walk when a car hit both of them. One sustained a compound leg fracture. The driver was identified and alcohol was not a factor.

11/26/09 11:40 pm, 1015 Arcade, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Smith, Hastings, Jagur went to the location to conduct a probation search. They knocked on the door several times and could see someone inside laying on the floor. The subject then jumped up and ran to the back of the house. Officers kicked in the front door and located 3 subjects inside the house - including the one that ran. They located numerous baggies of marijuana in one suspects pocket. They located baggies of marijuana, a scale and cocaine in the house. Maruice Gaston 7/22/69 was arrested on drug sales charges and probation violation and the 17 yr. old was also arrested. 8:25 pm, Raley/Bell, Drug Arrest, Officer Harbison stopped a silver Mustang at the above location. He located a very large amount of methamphetamine in the car. Pedro Garcia 11/25/83 was arrested on drug sales and driving without a license. His car was also towed. 4:33 am, 500 Leisure Ln (Radisson Hotel), Assault/Arrest N. Sac A security guard observed a subject trying to get into the gate to a storage area at the hotel. He approached the suspect and the suspect began to yell at him. The suspect then pulled out a screwdriver and attempted to stab the security guard. The security guard pepper sprayed the suspect and the suspect began to leave. The guard detained him until officers arrived. Raymond Torrence 1/8/66 (transient) was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. 4:30 am, El Camino (N. Sac Area), Grand Theft/Arrest N. Sac We placed some "Bait" property in the above area to combat some theft issues in the area. Someone took the property on the above date/time. Officers located in a truck that was driving at Eleanor/Rio Linda. The truck also turned out to be stolen. Auturo Morales 4/30/89 was arrested on a warrant, grand theft and stolen car.

11/25/09 8:00 pm, Harris/Fig, Shooting Del paso Heights The victim was driving in her car in the above area. The suspect cut her off and she yelled at the other car. The suspects asked her where she was from and then shot at her car - breaking out the rear window of the car. Suspect Veh: Cutlass, 2-door, faded light green. Suspects: 2 Male Hispanic Adults, late teens to early 20's. The victim was not hit by the gunfire. 5:33pm, 200 block of Arrowrock, Assault Strawberry Manor Two roomates were drinking at the house and got into an argument. The suspect threw gasoline on the victim and said he would light him on fire. The victim then said he would do it...and pulled out a cigarette lighter and lit himself on fire. The victim sustained minor burns. Johnny Davis, 68 yrs. was arrested for assault iwth chemicals.

11/24/09 11:31 pm, 900 block of Arcade, Shooting, North Sac Cops Log | 23    

Hagginwood Someone pulled up in a car and shot at a van. The van had gunshot damage. The suspects were driving a Blue Nissan Maxima with blue or Silver rims. No one was injured in the shooting. 9:24 pm, 325 Barrette Ave, Stabbing The vicitm came out of an apartment after another apartment caught on fire. A woman walked up the victim asking about her "brother". The victim didn't know anything about her brother and then the woman stabbed him in the chest. The woman was still in the area when officers arrived. When they went to contact her, she still had the knife in her hand. Sonia Chavez 7/17/67 was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. 3:47 pm, 4100 block of Fell St., Shooting Del paso Heights Suspects pulled up in a car and shot at subjects and a house on the street. No one was injured. 4 subjects were in the car and at least two were shooting guns. Suspect car: primer grey Buick or Olds with 22" rims. 3:24 am, Kenwood/Judah, Stolen Car/Arrest Hagginwood Officer Smith located a stolen car being driven in the above area. He arrested the driver for driving a stolen car.

11/23/09 11:59 pm, 1100 Las Palmas (Calvary Christian Center), burglary Officers received an alarm call at the above location. When they arrived they found a broken window. The officers searched the inside of the building and located the suspect. He had a screwdriver, flashlight, wrench, and a pipe cutter. he also had a narcotic pipe. Leonilo Osorio 2/10/79 was arrested for burglary, possession of burglary tools, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He lives in the area on Rio Linda. 8:54 pm, Ripley/Roanoke, Fight E. Del Paso Heights Officers responded to this location regarding a fight. Several subjects arrived in a white Jeep and got into a fight with other subjects. The windows of the jeep were all broken out during the altercation with a bat. One subject sustained several cuts to his face and was transported to the hospital. Officer Young and Macaulay attempted to stop a subject on a bicycle at the above location. The suspect refused to stop and continued on his bike. Officers chased him on foot and he attempted to jump a fence in the area. They caught him as he was going over the fence. They located methamphetamine on him. He told the officers a false name (although they didn't know it at the time). The person whose name he gave was on probation and lives at 313 Anderson Ct. They went to this location and searched the subjects room. They located additional methamphetamine inside the room. Eventually, with some help from other subjects at the house, they found out the suspect lied about his name and this wasn't his home. The learned his real name and found out he was a parolee at large. Anthony Sanchez 5/18/68 was arrested on drug charges, false name, resisting arrest, and parole violation. The investigation/arrest of the subject who they found methamphetamine in his room is still ongoing. 10:05 am, 1701 Arden (Macy's), Bomb Threat – False Arden Fair Macy's received a bomb threat. The building was evacuated and a search did not reveal any bomb - false threat. 1:20 am, Taft St. Burglary Ben Ali The victim was on the couch inside his home when two suspect's forced open the front door.The victim confronted both suspects with a baseball bat and struck one suspect with the bat. Both suspect's fled from the home on foot without getting anything. suspects: #1. male black, late teens, 6'0", skinny, black hoodie, black sweats, black gloves and long thin side burns. #2. Male Hispanic, late teens, 5'8", black hoodie, black gloves. 1:01 am, 4200 block of Marysville Blvd, Shooting/Arrest, The victim and suspect are brothers and are in an ongoing argument involving the suspects wife. The victim went over to the suspects house to continue the issue. They got into a physical altercation and the suspect shot the victim in the leg with a shotgun. The victim sustained major injuries to his leg and was transported to the hospital. James Ly 6/19/67 was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

11/22/09 12:46 pm, 3008 Academy Wy (Lt. Rail), Robbery N. Sac The victim got on light rail in the south area. The two suspects got on the train at K St. They began to talk with the victim and asked her if she wanted to buy any weed. She declined and got off the train at the Marconi station. They got off also and asked her for some money. She gave them a small amount of money and they asked for all her money. They went into her pockets and she struggled with them. 11/21/09 8:56 pm, 2012 Harris, Robbery E. Del Paso Heights A pizza delivery driver went to the above address to deliver a pizza. The suspect's met him in front of the house and walked inside. The driver could see the house was a vacant home. They tried to get him to go inside the house, but he refused. One suspect put on a mask and the other two suspects grabbed the pizza from him. He ran back to his car. On his way to the car he heard a gun shot and looked back and the suspects had shot a gun at him. He got into his car and drove away - he heard about 5 more gun shots as he drove away. Suspects: #1. male black, 17-18 yrs., light complexion, long "puffy" hair, hoodie. #2. male black, 6'1", 175 lbs., dark hoodie. #3. male black adult, 5'11", hoodie. The victim was not injured. 4:52 pm, Colfax/El Camino, Robbery N. Sac The two female victim's were walking home past the market at American/W. El Camino. The 3 female Hispanic suspects began to yell gang language at them. The suspect's followed them to the bridge where they began to fight. The victim's got away and the suspects continued to follow. They again got into a fight at Colfax/El Camino. One victim dropped her cell phone and purse. The suspect's picked up the items and fled north on colfax. Suspects #1. female Hispanic, 16-17 yrs., red sweater and tank top, long brown hair. #2. Female Hispanic, 16-17 yrs., black hoodie. #3. Female Hispanic, 16-17 yrs., black hoodie.

11/20/09 8:15 pm, 2140 Grand Ave (Four Oaks Market), Armed Robbery E. Del Paso Heights The suspect entered the store and demanded money from the clerk at gun point. After he obtained the money, he fled on foot south on Astoria. Suspects - male black, 24-30 yrs., 5'8", 140 lbs, black hoodie and shorts. 1:27 pm, 1689 Arden Wy (Arden Mall), Robbery, The victim parked her car in the parking lot and soon saw the suspect running at her. the suspect demanded the victim's purse and attempted to take the purse from her. The victim and suspect fought over the purse but the suspect eventually got it. The victim chased the suspect on foot in the parking lot but the suspect got into a car and fled on I-80. 11/19/09 3:45 pm, Helena/Albatross, Robbery The female victim got off the bus and was approached by the suspect for directions. The victim couldn't provide directions and walked off. The suspect came up behind her and punched her in the face. He took her purse and ran. suspect: male black, 30's, 6'0", thin, black curly hair, black jacket and jeans.

11/18/09 7:40 pm, 3621 Marysville Blvd (Mini Mart), Robbery/Assault/Arrest Del Paso Heights The suspect entered the store and picked up a lighter. He had a bottle of lighter fluid in his jacket pocket. He sprayed lighter fluid on the clerk and attempted to light him on fire with the lighter. He demanded money from the clerk. He was unable to get the lighter to light. The victim's friend walked in the store and grabbed the suspect and the suspect ran out the store. The suspect got into a Green or Black Chevy Blazer with a spare tire attached to the back. The victim also got a partial license plate. The swing shift officers broadcast the suspect (male white adult, 40 yrs., 6'3", 200 lbs, blond short hair and black jacket) description to all the other officers. This information was also given to the graveyard officers when they started their shift. Graveyard officers Hanks & Jagur located a similar vehicle pulling into the Quick Stop on Marysville at 3:50 am (11/19/09). The stopped the car which had 3 people inside. Eventually their investigation led them to 1502 Los Robles where another subject was supposedly staying. This turned out to be the suspect that attempted to rob the store and light the clerk on fire. He was a parolee at large out of Bakersfield. He was arrested and positively identified as the person responsible for the robbery. Richard Hamilton 12/22/70 was arrested for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and parole violation. 2:45 pm, Swantson Estates Area, "Bait" Car/Arrest, A "Bait" car was placed in the above neighborhood to combat the number of auto thefts in the area. Someone took the bait car and was found driving west on Arden. The suspect saw the officer and drove onto Business 80. He stopped the car on the off ramp at El Camino and fled on foot. Officers saw him hiding in bushes at Albatross/El Camino. He then fled from officers on foot. He was eventually caught by the K-9 at 2435 Albatross. He had prior arrests for weapons and drugs. The North POP team served a search warrant at the above location. They located cocaine and ammunition inside the home. Two subjects were arrested on drug charges and felons in possession of ammunition. 3:31 am, Albany/douglas, Drug/Stolen Property/Arrest Hagginwood Officer Smith stopped a car at the above location. He located cocaine, stolen property. Eric Hunt 12/2/74 was arrested for possession of stolen property, drugs, and violation of parole. 3:29 am, 4500 block of Breckenridge, Robbery Glenwood Meadows The victim stated he was coming home in his car. He was approached by a suspect wearing a mask and carrying a gun. The suspect supposedly took money from his pockets and ran. There was also a car driving in the neighborhood with no lights on. The victim stated he got back in his car and found the suspect running on Breckenridge. He stated he drove at the suspect and the suspect fired a gun at him (several neighbors also heard gunshots). The victim left the area and didn't know if he actually hit the suspect. A little while later, a subject showed up (dropped off by an unknown person) at Kaiser South with a compound fracture to his leg. He stated he was hit by a car in the North Area in the County. This investigation is ongoing. 2:07 am, Arcade/Belden, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Murawski and Streich contacted two subjects in a car that was stopped in the roadway. The passenger was on probation and the driver lied about his name. Officer Roddy came by the stop and recognized the driver and knew his real name. They located cocaine in the car and the driver had 1 felony and 3 misdemeanor warrants for drugs and traffic violations. Maury Richardson 11/27/73 was arrested on drug charges and his warrants. Traffic enforcement The traffic team worked the area of Arden Wy. They wrote 47 traffic citations, gave 5 warnings and towed 1 car.

11/17/09 11:08 pm, Dixianne/Oakmont, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Murawski and Streich observed a subject walk out of the alley behind 714 Darina. They contacted the subject and learned he was on probation. He dropped something out of his pocket (turned out to be cocaine) and ran from officers. He ran south on Oakmont and West on Calvados, jumped a fence and was ultimately caught in front of 2250 Cantalier. They located the

cocaine he dropped. Anthony Hunter 9/10/62 was arrested on drug charges, resisting officers and violation of probation. 4:36 pm, North Ave/Alder, Pursuit/Arrest Del Paso Heights Gang Detectives observed a subject they were looking for regarding an outstanding drug warrant. He drove by them at North Ave/Alder (Del Paso Heights) in a maroon camero with Nevada license plates. He immediately drove off at a high rate of speed upon seeing the detectives. They were unable to catch up to him and he got away driving west on Grand Ave. About 30 minutes later the detectives went to 3406 Loggerhead and observed the camero parked at the house. They also observed the suspect pulling out of the driveway in a grey Mustang with a red stripe down the side. He fled from officers again and they pursued him north on Duckhorn. Sgt. Hinz canceled the pursuit because of the dangers to the officers and the public - due to the way the suspect was driving at a high rate of speed, running stop signs and red lights and on the wrong side of the road. The helicopter arrived and followed the suspect as he continued to drive erratically on I-5 and I-80. He ultimately stopped his car and ran on foot at Grace/Wincloud (Robla Area). Officers eventually located him at 621 Grace. Wesley Jones 7/23/78 was arrested for evading police and his outstanding drug warrant. 2:58 pm, 3900 block of Fell, Shooting Del Paso Heights A brown Chevy Suburban drove by a house on Fell st. and a passenger fired several shots at the home. No one was injured 1:58 pm, Rivera/Branch, shooting Hagginwood Patrol officers were at Belden/Grand when they heard about 10 gunshots. They located a vehicle at Los Robles/May that was involved in a Hit And Run accident at 3308 May St. This car was a red Ford Crown Victoria. Apparently a Gold Lexus GS300 was being chased or was chasing the red car and both cars were shooting at each other in a rolling gun battle. The red Crown Victoria had a fresh bullet hole in the side of the car. No one was in the car by the time officers arrived. There was possibly a tan Nissan also involved in the shooting. No one turned up at hospitals with any injuries so it's possible no one was hit by the gun fire. Several hours later we received a call about another car that was involved in the shooting. Officers located the Silver Pontiac on Branch St. Officers towed this car. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked on Arden Way. (Point West). They wrote 44 traffic citations, gave 2 warnings, and towed 9 cars.

7:53 pm, 3620 Belden St, Robbery Del Paso Heights A pizza delivery driver was delivering a pizza to the above address. he observed a subject standing in front of the location and asked if he ordered a pizza. A 2nd subject came up behind him and hit him on the head with a stick. He demanded the victim's money and fled with a small amount of cash. The suspect's left the pizza and the victim's cell phone. Suspect w/ stick: Male black, 15 yrs., head covered with something...2nd Suspect: Male black, 15 yrs., long curly hair and black jacket.

11/15/09 9:49 pm, Del Paso/Forrest, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Cox and Macauley contacted two subjects that appeared to be arguing behind 1803 Del Paso Blvd. They also had an open container of alcohol. The male subject initially would take his hands out of his pockets when asked by the officers ...the officers could also see a knife hanging out of his pocket. The officers eventually located methamphetamine in his pocket also. Steven lamb 11/14/56 was arrested on drug charges. 1:51 am, 1776 South Ave, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Schiele and Kinstler were investigating a DUI at 3296 Marysville. Their investigation led them to 1776 South avenue where the located the possible suspect car. They knocked on the door but no one answered. They were able to determine the suspect lived there and was on searchable probation. They eventually got in the house and located 3 people inside the house including the probationer. The ylocated marijuana, scales, a rifle, and methamphetamine. Kyle Hartsill 6/13/84 was arrested on several drug charges and violation of probation.

11/14/09 7:30 pm, 1677 Arcade, Drug Arrest Hagginwood The North POP team conducted a probation search at this location. No one answered the door but officers could see someone inside the house. They forced open the door and located the probationer inside the house. They also located methamphetamine, a scale with methamphetamine residue on it, money, and narcotic pipe. Stanley Sanders 10/9/52 was arrested on drug sales charges. He was arrested on the same charges at the same location on 4/26/09 also. 12:14pm, 1000 block of Lochbrae, Missing Person North Sac Cops Log | 30    

Woodlake Officers were searching for an 80 yr. old Alzheimers patient. The Dispatch center utilized reverse 911 to attempt to located the missing person. She was eventually located safe at the Salvation Army. 9:43 am, 3510 May St, Parolee/Stolen Property/Arrest Hagginwood Officer Rafiq went to the above location searching for a parolee at large that lived there. The officers knocks on the door went unanswered, but they could see someone laying on a bed inside the house. They eventually got inside the house and located a female subject came out of a bedroom and locked the door behind her. She told officers the suspect was not in the house. They eventually found the parolee hiding in the bedroom she came out of. They also located stolen property from a previous robbery in the North Area. James Thomas 6/5/76 was arrested for possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, and parole violation. 2:04 am, Arden/Oakmont, Assault N. Sac Officers responded of a call of 8-9 subjects beating an unconscious victim on the ground. The caller stated a bat and knife might be involved. Officers arrived and located the victim bleeding profusely and with significant injuries. The suspects were all gone. The victim also sustained stab wounds to his back which resulted in a collapsed lung. Turns out the suspects are known to the victim and the assault was the result of an argument between the victim and one of the suspects. Follow up in continuing and at least some of the suspects have been identified. 12:09 am, Empress/Dixieanne, Parolee Arrest N. Sac Officer Trefethen contacted a subject at the above location. The subject told the officer he was on parole and was talking with the officer for a few minutes. When the officer began to get out of the squad car, the suspect took off running. The officer chased the suspect east down the alley where he tried to climb a fence at 2423 Boxwood. Officer Trefethen grabbed the back of the suspect as he was going over the fence and the suspect kicked him in the chest and continued over the fence. With the assistance of the helicopter and K-9, the suspect was located hiding in a garbage dumpster behind 2408 Empress. Stephen Barros 3/15/66 was arrested for battery on an officer, resisting arrest and parole violation. The North POP team conducted a prostitution operation along Del Paso Blvd. They arrested 2 people for prostitution related charges.

11/13/09 Anti-Burglary Detail Update North Sac Cops Log | 31    

8:00 am, 1820 Frienza (Storage Units) Patrol Officer Edmonson responded to a call of someone breaking into the storage units. The manager provided the officer with great information and she began to conduct follow up. She called the Anti-Burglary detail to also conduct follow up at a possible suspect address (2248 Wyda Wy - County). They were not able to locate a possible suspect at this location and went to a second location at 2044 Ernest Wy (El Camino/Howe area) in the County. The possible suspects were driving a Blue Jeep Wagoneer with wood paneling and a red Toyota truck with a grey stripe. At the Ernest Wy location they found the red truck in the driveway. 1 possible suspect (Sullivan) was sitting in front of the location. He was identified as the suspect that broke into 3 storage units. As officers were searching this location, the Blue Wagoneer drove by. Officers stopped the Wagoneer down the street and the 2nd suspect (Carlin) was driving this car. Officers located numerous pieces of stolen property in the Wagoneer, at the Ernest Wy residence and in the truck. They also located methamphetamine in the Wagoneer. Carlin lives on Yorkshire Rd. and both suspects are on parole. Frank Carlin 3/9/70 was arrested on 3 counts of burglary, 3 counts of conspiracy, 3 counts of possession of stolen property, drug charges and parole violation. Gary Sullivan 8/26/63 was arrested on 3 counts of burglary, 3 counts of possession of stolen property, 3 counts of conspiracy and parole violation. GREAT Job by the Manager of the storage facility in protecting peoples property!!

11/12/09 10:16 am, 3600 block of Ivy, Stabbing E. Del Paso Heights The victim came over to this location to assist a friend who was possibly arguing with another friend. After the victim got there, he was confronted by the suspect and stabbed multiple times in the chest. The suspect fled immediately after the assault. The suspect is known to the victim and has been identified...but we have not caught him yet. The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries. Anti-Burglary Detail Update 5:05 pm, 3223 Del Paso blvd (Hagginwood) Officers were hailed by a person who stated someone was possibly stealing something from this location. Officers pulled up to the vacant house and observed two subjects wheeling away a security screen door with a dolly. One subject was on searchable probation and had two no bail warrants. He had taken the screen door off the vacant house and admitted to stealing it. Edward Hogan 6/3/77 was arrested for Theft and probation violation - along with his warrants. 1:39 pm, 1845 Reynolds Wy (Bell/Raley area) Officers contacted a subject that had 8 warrants for her arrest - including some for theft related crimes. 9:10 am, 809 Nogales (Hagginwood) North Sac Cops Log | 32    

Officers conducted a probation search at this location after learning of a possible marijuana grow. They located a large amount of marijuana, a rifle, and a BB gun pistol. Christopher Brown 3/31/64 was arrested for being an ex-felon in possession of a gun and violation of probation. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the area of Arden between Del paso and Ethan Wy. They wrote 78 traffic citations, gave 4 warnings, and towed 23 cars

11/11/09 Officers Fong and Canepa worked Del Paso Blvd on bicycles. They made numerous stops and wrote several citations.

11/10/09 10:38pm, Bell/Norwood, Drug Arrest Robla The Anti-Burglary team went to 632 Naruth to conduct a parole search on a subject that was on parole for weapons charges. The subject wasn't home, but they did locate methamphetamine in the garage. They contacted the suspect on the phone but he refused to turn himself into the officers. The officers contacted graveyard officer Hanson to advise of the wanted subject. Officer Hanson located the suspect driving a black Chevy Suburban and stopped him at Norwood/Bell. Joshua Nelson 6/14/83 was arrested on drug charges and parole violation. 8:17 pm, JC Penny's (Arden Fair), Assault/Fruadulent checks Officers were called by security regarding a subject that tried to pass fraudulent checks at JC Penny's. The supsect's were stopped in a Chevy Silverado leaving the parking lot. Officers located 4 fake drivers licenses, a narcotic pipe, and fake checks. They detained the female suspect in the back of the patrol car. She started acting like she was getting sick so the officer opened the squad car door for her. She pushed past the officer and ran on foot. She tripped over a curb and then tried to crawl under a chain link fence. Officers and security struggled with her as she kicked at them stating she didn't want to go to jail. She kicked the officers several times with her high heal boots. Officers eventually got her in custody and took her to the hospital for her injuries from the fall. The officers sustained cuts to his thigh and torn pants from her kicking him with her heels. 5:34 pm, Fairfield/Eleanor, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers Bryan and Lopez stopped a known probationer in a car with her two children. They located an ecstasy pill in her pocket. Jenny Powers 7/15/82 was arrested on drug charges. North Sac Cops Log | 33    

Anti-Burglary Detail Update 9:58 am, 3914 Kern St. (Del Paso Heights) Officers went to this location to conduct a probation search partly due to possible drug activity. When they pulled up to the house, a subject (Rycraft) was standing in front and ran into the house and slammed the door. He attempted to run out the back of the house and over the back fence. He also threw a bag as he ran. Officers had set up around the house and caught him before he could get away. At the same time, a 17 yr. old subject also attempted to run from the house but was caught by officers. They located a 3rd subject (Jackson) inside the house. Officers located a large amount of methamphetamine in the house, numerous baggies, money, marijuana and a BB gun that was altered to look like a real gun. Rusty Rycraft 1/8/90 was arrested on drug sales charges and James Jackson 7/30/87 was arrested on drug charges and violation of probation.

11/9/09 5:30 pm, 3271 Marysville Blvd (Hagginwood Park), Drug/Parolee Arrest Officers Harshbarger and Young stopped a car at the above location. They smelled marijuana coming from the car and located marijuana and methamphetamine in the drivers pocket. One passenger had a warrant and the other passenger was on parole. James Herrera 8/4/76 was arrested on drug charges. Ronald Gitchell 1/25/81 was arrested on a parole violation and the 2nd passenger was arrested on his warrant. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the areas of Arden Wy and W. El Camino. They wrote 78 citations, gave 1 warning and towed 4 cars.

11/8/09 6:33 pm, Del Paso/Dixieanne, Robbery N. Sac The victim stated he was driving down Dixieanne when a woman waved at him. He stated he pulled over to speak with the woman and two suspects ran up to him and began to punch him. They took money from his wallet and threw the wallet on the ground. They walked off as the victim followed them in his car. The suspect threw a rock and broke his windshield to his car and were last seen on Empress. Suspects #1. Male black adult, 25-30 yrs., dread locks, 6'0". #2. male black adult, 25-30yrs., braids.

11/7/09 2:10 am, 2320 Grand Ave, Gun Shots/Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Officers responded on a call of people hearing gunshots. Officers located some subjects at the above address. Initially one of the suspects stated there was a party at his house and people refused to leave. He stated someone (he would not say who) shot off his shotgun to get people to leave. Further inquiry by the officers revealed there wasn't a party and both subjects in the house shot off two different shotguns in the back yard for no real reason. One subject stated he didn't know where his shotgun was and wished to report it stolen. Officers asked if they could search the house to see if in fact it really was missing. He allowed certain areas of the house to be searched, but not the whole house. Eventually officers located one shotgun in the kitchen and the other suspect eventually showed officers where the 2nd shotgun was located. Officers located numerous spent shotgun shell casings in the back yard where they shot off the shotguns. Nathan Potter 3/23/87 was arrested for negligent discharge of a firearm. David Diaz 9/25/85 was also arrested on that charge. The shotguns were booked as evidence. 1:14 am, Dry Creek/Bell Area, Stolen "bait" car/Arrest Robla A "bait" car was placed in the above area in an effort to combat the number of cars stolen in the area. Two suspect stole the car and officers stopped them in the area of Grand Ave. Lee Vue 5/7/90 was arrested for stealing the car, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and violation of probation. He was on probation for stealing cars. Fong Van 4/29/79 was arrested for stealing the car, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and parole violation. He was on parole for burglary. Del Paso Blvd Area N. Sac The north POP team worked the area regarding prostitution activity. 3 subjects were arrested on prostitution related charges.

11/6/09 4:17 am, South/Kern, Stolen Car/Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Officers Smith located a stolen car at the above location. He arrested the driver without any issues. The car was stolen in the County on 11/5/09. Sonia Valdez 4/22/69 was arrested for the stolen car. She lives on Stonecreek in S. Natomas. 2:41 am, 2720 Land Ave, Burglary/Arrest North Sac Cops Log | 35    

N. Sac Officer Spencer and Hawley responded to a burglary alarm at this location which is a Window Manufacturing company. The suspects broke through the door and were still inside the business when the officers arrived. One was caught as he exited the front of the building. There were possibly 2 suspects but a 2nd one was never located. The suspect that was caught was on parole for possession of stolen property. Victor Arnesan 3/30/74 was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and parole violation. 2:29 am, Marysville/Arcade, Stolen Car/Arrest Hagginwood Officers Jagur and Hastings located a stolen Green Honda driving at South and Sheldon. They stopped the car at Marysville/South and took the driver into custody without any issues. Inside the car officers located several car keys, one of which was a "shaved key", a purse belonging to someone else, and a window punch. Star Robinson 3/20/87 was arrested for possession of burglary tools, stolen car, parole violation, and warrants.

11/5/09 2:09 am, Price Ct/Rio Linda, Arrest Noralto Officers Murawski and Streich contacted subjects in a car at the above location. They arrested Tina Thomas 7/20/63 for her felony narcotic warrant. 12:42 am, Empress/El Camino, Pursuit/Arrest N. Sac Officers Surjan & Eagleton observed a white 2000 Ford Taurus run the red light at El Camino/Del paso. They stopped the car, but then the car fled from officers by doing a U-turn and driving away west on El Camino. The car fled on Empress, to Dixieanne, to Cambridge, to Calvados where it crashed into 490 Calvados. The driver was arrested and transported to the hospital for his injuries in the crash. He was going to have to stay at the hospital for a while so officers will be submitting a warrant for his arrest for DUI, Evading officers and suspended drivers license. Del Paso/El Camino area, N. Sac, "John"/prostitution operation The North POP team conducted a prostitution operation focusing on the "John's". They arrested 6 people for prostitution related crimes.

Hagginwood The suspect was masturbating in the above area as he stared at neighbors. The neighbors called police and Sgt. Jestes located him in the area. Joselito Gastelum 9/4/73 was arrested for indecent exposure. 2:06 am, Del Paso/El Camino (Shell Station), Parolee Arrest N. Sac Officer Bell contacted a subject at the gas station. His parole agent wanted him arrested for parole violations. Sergey Yakimyuk 8/17/85 was arrested for parole violation. 12:18 am, 728 Darina, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Murawski and Streich observed a gold Cadillac near Darina/Del paso. They knew the passenger to be on searchable probation and had a no bail warrant. The car stopped in front of 728 Darina and officers contacted the occupants. The passenger had methamphetamine in his pocket and they found a narcotic pipe in the car. Trenale Belton 6/23/76 was arrested on drug charges, a drug no bail warrant and a traffic warrant. Del Paso blvd area (N. Sac) The North POP team conducted a grand theft operation utilizing "bait" property. They arrested 2 people on separate occasions for stealing our property. They both were arrested for grand theft.

11/3/09 1:43 pm, 860 Arden (Closed Vallero Gas Station), Vandalism N. Sac Officer Silva received a call from a neighbor who stated a subject was breaking the windows at the closed down Vallero Gas Station. Officers Silva, Auger and motor officers responded and located the suspect. Christopher Valdez 4/7/74 was arrested for vandalism and several warrants. 7:48 am, 2000 block of Downar, Missing Person E. Del Paso Heights Officers responded on a call regarding an elderly man that had been missing since 9:00pm the previous night. Officers checked the neighborhood for the subject and our dispatch center sent out reverse 911 calls to the neighborhood. Officer eventually determined a "John Doe" was taken to the hospital around 6:20 am and it turned out to be our missing person. The family was reconnected to the subject.

9:56 pm, Del Paso blvd/Railroad (bike trail), Drug Arrest Officers Galliano and Cunningham contacted a subject walking on the bike trail. He had a narcotic pipe and a baggie of methamphetamine. Augustine Medina 4/21/76 was arrested on drug charges. he lives in S. Natomas.

11/1/09 2:16 am, 1949 Arden (AM/PM), Fight Point West/Arden Officers responded to a large fight in the parking lot of the AM/PM after the closing of the Erotic Zone Ball at Cal Expo. They initially observed 4 women fighting in the parking lot. That group quickly grew to about 10 people fighting with several others watching. Officers ordered the two women (wearing costumes) to stop fighting but they continued. Officers grabbed both women but they continued to swing at each other and had a grip on each others hair. The officers and women fell to the ground and the crowd began to advance on the officers. The officers stood up and let the women go to tell the crowd to back up. At that time, the women continued to fight each other. Eventually the officers utlized their pepper spray and the women stopped fighting. Neither women wanted the other arrested and both were cited for fighting. 2:00 am, 1600 Arden (Shell Station), Robbery Point West While officers were handling the fight at the AM/PM, they were hailed by the victim of this robbery. The victim was in the parking lot of the Shell Gas station when the suspects pulled into the gas station in their Grey Lincoln. They scrapped against the victim's car. The victim got out to talk with the suspect's and about 2-3 women got out of the car yelling at the victim. The victim took a picture of the suspect's car with her cell phone. One suspect demanded the victim give her the cell phone. He grabbed the victim's hair, punched her and took the cell phone from her. The suspect got back into the car and drove off. Officers went to 8042 Grandstaff in the South Area where the car was registered. They found the car in the driveway and people getting out of the car. As officers pulled up, the subjects went into the garage and closed the door. Eventually the officers were able to get the people to come out of the house. The identified the suspect and she was arrested - but the phone wasn't found. Kashanda Payton 3/5/90 was arrested for robbery, giving a false name to officers, violation of probation and her warrant. She was on searchable probation. She gave the officers her cousins name which she also did two other times in previous years.

10/31/09 10:03 pm, Challenge/Exposition, Assault Point West North Sac Cops Log | 38    

The victim was jumped by 15-20 Male Asian Adult subjects in their late 20's across the street from the entrance to Cal Expo. The victim was struck in the head with a large rock during the fight. The witnesses and victim would not provide officers with many details of what happened. The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries. 2:16 am, 2744 Oakmont, Assault Noralto The victim's were loading up a moving truck. The suspect approached their truck and attempted to tamper with it until the victim's ran him off. At some point this subject came back and got into a physical altercation with one of the victim's. During the fight, the victim was cut on his arm and stomach area with some sort of edged weapon. The victim did not require medical treatment. Suspect: male black adult, 20's, 5'6" with a heavy black jacket.

10/30/09 10:14 pm, Del Paso Blvd/Railroad (bike Trail). Officers Galliano and Macauley arrested a subject with a felony warrant. 10:57 am, 525 Grand Ave, Drug Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers McGlinchey, Davis, and Jarvis conducted a probation search at the above location due to the possibility of drug sales coming from this location. They located a handgun, scale, baggies of methamphetamine, empty baggies, and a live round of ammunition. Arne Anderson 4/27/61 was arrested for ex-felon in possession of a gun and ex-felon in possession of ammunition. Amber Gallegly 6/10/82 was arrested for drug sales, armed in the commission of a felony, and committing a felony while out on bail.

10/29/09 8:54, 4429 May St., Drug Arrest Robla The North POP team went to the above address to attempt to locate a suspect wanted for a felony assault. The suspect wasn't home. Officers contacted several other subjects at the location. They contacted these same subjects a little later this same evening in the County at Greenback/Garfield. They located several pills in their possession (methylin, gabapentine, ondanserone, busterone), a pill cutter, baggies, brass knuckles and amphetamine pills. Two subjects were arrested on drug and weapons charges. 2:55 am, El Camino/Ethan, Stolen Car/Arrest Swanston Estates North Sac Cops Log | 39    

Officer Hastings located a stolen 1995 Blue Honda driving in the above area. He eventually stopped the car at Del paso/El Camino. The car had been stolen a few hours earlier at 9pm at Arden Fair (328687). The 17 yr. old driver was arrested for the stolen car. 12:17 am, Lampasas/Rio Linda, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers Murawski and Streich attempted to stop a subject on a bicycle. He refused to stop and fled from officers. Eventually he dropped his bike and ran on foot through a vacant loct at Lampasas/Beaumont - where he threw something on the ground. Officers caught the suspect and, with the help of K-9, located the methamphetamine he dropped in the vacant lot. Jaime Marquez 1/25/83 was arrested on drug charges and resisting arrest.

10/28/09 7:20 pm, 100 block of Cathcart, Assault Strawberry Manor Officers responded on a call of a large fight. The victim was involved in a fight with a couple of other women. The victim was cut on the face with a box cutter and also had lacerations on her arm - a hammer was also involved. A red Chevy HHR was being driven by the suspects. Officers have some good leads they are working on in regard to the suspects. 6:32 pm, Marconi/Auburn (AM/PM), Drug Arrest Ben Ali POP Officers Fong and Canepa observed a subject they knew to be on probation and have warrants at the AM/PM. They approached and asked the subject his name as he was seated in the back seat of a burnt orange Buick. He lied to officers about his name, but eventually told them the truth. They also located a baggie of cocaine in the seat where he was seated. Julius Dudley 12/28/86 was arrested for giving a false name, drug charges, violation of probation and 3 felony warrants (Sales of Rock Cocaine, Possession of narcotics and Threatening a witness) and 1 misdemeanor warrant (traffic). 4:22 pm, Branch/Eleanor, Drug/Pursuit/Arrest Hagginwood Officers Bryan and Harshbarger attempted to stop a tan Toyota. The toyota kept going at low speeds and would not pull over. During the pursuit, the driver kept moving around like he was hiding something under the seat. The driver eventually pulled over at 3022 Del paso Blvd. The driver was on parole and had a large amount of cash on him. He was taken to the jail where a search revealed a piece of plastic in his rectum. Officers took him to the hospital where eventually passed the piece of plastic which contained methamphetamine. drug charges, running from police, and parole violation. 10:53 am, Las Palmas/Forrest, Sex Assault/Arrest Noralto The victim was walking with her small child in the above area. The suspect came up to her and began to talk to her. He made numerous sexual remarks and grabbed her. He then sexually assaulted her. Officers located the suspect on Arcade and arrested the 15 yr. old suspect for sexual battery. 2:12 am, Acacia/Clay, Burglary Tools/Parolee/Arrest Hagginwood Officers Murawski and Striech stopped a subject on a bike. He was a parolee who was holding a wrench and several "shaved" car keys. Norman Jennings 10/10/73 (lives in Elk Grove) was arrested for possession of burglary tools and parole violation. 12:26 am, Alamos/Branch, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Murawski and Striech stopped a Grey Dodge Ram Truck. The driver was on probation and had a suspended license. He also had 2 baggies of methamphetamine in his pocket. Richard Hice 2/24/50 (lives in Carmichael) was arrested on drug charges.

10/27/09 1:32 am, Sonoma/Marysville, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Murawski and Striech stopped a Black BMW at the above location. The driver was on probation and one of the two passengers was on parole. They located a narcotic pipe in the car and a bindle of marijuana. They also located a baggie of methamphetamine in the wallet of the driver. Danielle Callahan 9/8/69 was arrested on drug charges. 12:21 am, Western/Butterworth, DUI Arrest Strawberry Manor Officers Hastings and Jagur stopped a Green Acura Integra at the above location. The driver was DUI and was arrested.

10/25/09 7:42 am, 2626 Rio Linda, Robbery Noralto The victim pulled into the Bonfair Market and turned off his car. The female suspect opened his passenger door and sat inside the car. She stated she needed a ride. Then the male suspect opened the drivers side door and put a boxcutter to the vicitm's neck. They told the victim to drive to the next parking lot (2626 Rio Linda - Mexican Restaurant). The female suspect began going through the victim's car and the male suspect made the victim get out of the car. The suspect punched the victim and then a 3rd suspect ran up and grabbed the victim's keys. They all drove off in the victim's car (Black Honda Accord 6GGW244) - the car is still outstanding. Suspects: 1. male white adult, 22-23 yrs., skinny, unshaven..2. female white adult, 5'6", skinny, long brown hair, 22-23 yrs...3. male Hispanic adult, 5'6", chubby, short black hair, yellow/white polo shirt, late 20's. 1:05 am, 264 Olmstead, Collision Strawberry Manor A subject was driving in the area when he collided with 3 parked cars. Officers located the suspect sitting in the driveway of 264 Olmstead. he had a laceration on his forehead and smelled of alcohol. He was transported to the hospital and an investigation into his alcohol level was initiated.

10/24/09 11:30 pm, 600 block of Morrison, Fight/Gun Shots Del paso Heights Officers responded on a call regarding a fight involving knives, swords and bats. They also stated they heard gunshots. Officers arrived and there were several people leaving the area on foot and in cars. Officers located a handgun on the ground in the area, but no one was around to claim it.

10/23/09 9:31 pm, Shiva Ct., Assault North Sac Cops Log | 42    

Oak Knoll The victim left the above location after dropping off a family member. The suspect (a friend of the family member) confronted the victim and threatened her. He then rammed the back of her car (with her in it) with his green Suburban. The vicitm fled in her car and the suspect went into the house. The victim then saw the suspect at the corner of Morrison/McDaniel. She yelled at the suspect as he was holding something in his waistband. As she drove off, she heard two gunshots. Officers responded but the suspect was gone. On 10/24/09 @ 5:22 pm (323451), officers observed the suspect leaving the same location in the Suburban. The officers attempted to stop the Suburban but it fled from officers. The suspect drove around and then back to his address on Shiva Ct. He jumped out of his Suburban and ran back into the house. The suspect's friend and two 2 yr. old children were inside the suburban. Officers talked with the suspect via the phone and attempted to get him to come out of the house...but he never came out. After hours of negotiations and waiting, the SWAT team eventually located him hiding inside the house. Derek Pointer 11/16/72 was arrested for Assault with a deadly weapon, evading officers, child endangerment, and warrants for resisting arrest and gun charges. 2:43 pm, 3072 Callecita, Burglary/Arrest Hagginwood The victim's mother passed away recently and the victim asked the neighbors to watch the house (victim didn't live at the house). The suspect's broke into the back door of the house and took several items such as the TV, Table, BBQ etc. The victim observed her mothers BBQ in the back yard of the neighbors house and called police. Officers located both suspects and the BBQ in the back yard. They also located most of the other property inside the suspects home (3072 Callecita). Stacy Engram 12/6/75 and Sylvonia Higgins 12/12/79 were both arrested for possession of stolen property, burglary, and conspiracy. 11:36 pm, 2140 Grand Ave (Four Oaks Market), Armed Robbery E. Del Paso Heights A suspect entered the store armed with a handgun. He demanded money from the clerk. At one point, a customer entered the store and the suspect told them to leave (and they did). The suspect obtained money from the store and fled in a white vehicle that was parking near the store (possibly a white Honda). 10/24/09 @ 12:20 am, at 3016 Northgate (Northgate Liquor and Food) two suspects entered the store (one armed with a handgun) and demanded money. The clerk refused and the other employee's jumped the suspect. They took the gun from him and a fight ensued. The 2nd suspect fled out of the store. The armed suspect was held down by employees until the officers arrived to take him into custody. Officers searched the area for the 2nd suspect. While officers were searching, the 2nd suspect called police and stated he needed medical attention and he was losing consciousness due to his injuries. He was located hiding near the levee. Both suspects were transported to the hospital for their injuries and then booked into jail. The gun was located inside the store. The suspects car (A white Mitsubishi 3000GT) was located near the store. Malcolm Laban 4/14/88 (lives in Strawberry Manor) was arrested for robbery, armed in commission of a felony, conspiracy and attempted robbery. Brandon Hill

10/22/09 9:41 am, El Camino/American, Burglary Tools/Arrest Northgate/Gardenland/Woodlake Officer McGovern stopped a subject riding a bike and pulling a small trailer at the above location. The subject had property in the trailer including two chain saws. He stated he was homeless and matched the description of a burglary a few weeks ago in Woodlake. The AntiBurglary detail officers responded to assist on the stop. Ultimately, the subject was arrested for possession of burglary tools (he had numerous tools in his backpack). Officers and detectives are continuing to follow up on the earlier burglary.

10/21/09 6:32 pm, 3816 Huron St., Drug Arrest/Search Warrant Del Paso Heights The North POP team served a search warrant at the above location. when they arrived, one suspect fled to the back yard and ran from officers over numerous fences. He was eventually arrested. Officers located the 2nd suspect at the house. The subject that ran had several packages of marijuana and some money on him. Inside the house they located cocain, scales, packaging, and items used to cook cocaine. David Dewitt Jr. 7/7/82 and David Dewitt 12/10/55 were both arrested on drug charges. 6:09 pm, Raley/Diesel Dr., Injury Collision N. Sac A car drove off the road and collided with a tree. The female driver was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated from the car by the fire department. She had major injuries to her legs and was transported to the hospital - no other cars involved. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked areas in North Sac. They wrote 55 citations, gave 5 warnings and towed 8 cars. DUI Enforcement The new DUI enforcement team worked the North Sac area. They arrested 2 DUI drivers, wrote 19 citations and towed 4 cars.

10/20/09 2:47 am, Darina/Del paso blvd, Drug/parolee/Arrest N. Sac Officers Streich and Murawski contacted 3 subjects walking in the alley behind 744 Darina. One they knew to be on parole for drugs. The subject spit a bindle out of his mouth. It contained what appeared to be rock cocaine but wasn't a narcotic (possibly soap). Officers located a bindle of real cocaine in his pocket. Eddie Harmon 12/4/72 was arrested on drug charges and parole violation. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the area of Marysville boulevard. They wrote 38 citations, gave 3 warnings, and towed 12 cars.

10/19/09 5:59 pm, Altos/Eleanor, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers Young and Macauley contacted a subject on a bicycle. the subject was on searchable probation and had a scale and money on him. Officers also located a baggie of methamphetamine and a pipe next to the suspect. Michael Bradley 4/7/77 was arrested on drug charges and an outstanding warrant. 12:22 am, 1304 Bell Ave, Hit and Run Robla A car sheared a utility pole and live wires were down on the roadway. The vehicle then went over the curb and hit the fence to 1304 Bell. The driver fled before officers arrived and there is no description of the driver yet. The car is a blue Mercury Sable. Due to the live wires, Bell from Marysville to Dry Creek was closed for a while after the collision.

10/18/09 12:29 pm, 2400 Del Paso blvd (Shell), Fight N. Sac Two subjects got into an altercation at the Shell Gas station. A Paladin Security guard and a Loss Prevention Rite Aid employee observed the altercation from across the street and attempted to intervene. One subject was chasing another subject with a bat (altercation was about the suspect almost hitting the victim with his car as he crossed the street). Paladin security ordered the suspect to drop the bat which he eventually did. They attempted to detain the subject and he North Sac Cops Log | 45    

began to fight with the security guard. Eventually security maced and tasered the subject and got him handcuffed. Initially no one wanted to press charges and the suspect was transported to the hospital. 10:31 pm, Grand/Lily, Stolen Car/Pursuit/Arrest E. Del paso Heights Officer Severi located a stolen Honda Accord in the above area. He attempted to stop the car and it fled from him on Lily. The suspect drove down Roanoke until he tried to turn onto Mahogany. He failed to make the turn and collided with a parked car. The driver got out of the stolen car and attempted to run from officers on foot. He was eventually located by Sgt. Lange hiding under a car in front of 1829 Roanoke. The suspect was on searchable probation out of Contra Costa County for stealing cars and had a no bail warrant out of the same county for probation violation. Nathaniel Sheppard 12/9/88 was arrested for evading, hit and run, stolen car, violation of probation, and his warrant. 12:07 am, Keith/Middleberry, Shooting Swanston Estates Officers received a call to the above area of a party and gun shots heard. Officers arrived and heard more gunshots themselves. About 50-70 subjects were leaving the area at the same time. No victim's were located and no one with a gun was located. At the same time this occurred, the Sheriff's department called for cover a few blocks away in the County - unrelated to this call. 2:12 am, 4221 Norwood (rite Aid), Hit and Run Glenwood Meadows Someone crashed a car into the window area of the Rite Aid. The car and suspect were gone when officers arrived. There wasn't a vehicle or suspect description.

10/17/09 9:00 am, 2727 Oakmont #3, Gun Arrest N. Sac Officer McGlinchey went to the above location to conduct a probation search. He located sever firearm rounds in the bedroom along with a sawed off rifle. He also located some methamphetamine in a backpack. Johnny Torres 10/3/90 was arrested on several ammunition and gun charges - primarily an ex-felon in possession of a fire arm and having a gun with altered serial numbers.

10/16/09 North Sac Cops Log | 46    

Altos/Lampasas (bike trail), Warrant Arrest, Officers Galliano and Macauley continued to work the bike trail due to recent robberies and assaults. They located Robin Perez 3/19/64 who had a drug warrant. He was arrested. 9:58 am, 2768 Rio Linda, Drug Arrest Noralto Officer Davis observed 3 subjects standing in front of the above location - one of which he knew to be on searchable probation. He conducted a probation search where he located another subject inside the residence that was on probation. One subject attempted to throw a narcotic pipe while talking with officers. Officers located a large amount of methamphetamine in various locations in the residence, located marijuana also. Dawnette Valentine 6/17/71 and Dale Leeper 4/13/89 were both arrested on drug charges. 7:03 am, 1116 Main, Drug Arrest Robla The North POP team, with the assistance of the SWAT team, served a search warrant at the above location. A very large amount of marijuana was located, several hundred pounds of growing marijuana was confiscated, scales, packaging, ledgers, money was all confiscated along with some body armor. Two subjects were booked into the jail on numerous charges.

10/14/09 10:25 pm, Pursuit/Stolen Car/Arrest, Ivy/Roanoke E. Del paso Heights Officers Boyd and Bryan located a stolen Maroon Honda Accord driving east on Roanoke. They attempted to stop it and the car fled from officers. It ran several stop signs, drove onto Grand Ave and then North on Winters. The car hit the curb as it turned onto Winters and sustained a flat tire. The suspect eventually stopped and was arrested by officers. The car had been stolen from Citrus Heights earlier that day. Joseph Starr 5/31/88 was arrested for the stolen car, evading officers, violation of probation and a warrant. 7:48 pm, 18 Jones Ranch Ct., Gun Arrest/Pursuit Robla Officers responded on a call of a subject waving guns around at the above location. Officers arrived and saw several subjects standing out front and the suspect standing near a car. When the suspect saw the officers, he immediately got into his car and attempted to speed off. The officers ordered him to stop but he continued to speed off. He attempted to drive away, but he was on a North Sac Cops Log | 47    

court with a dead end. He jumped out of his car and started running from officers over fences. Officer Topaz eventually caught him at Arrow Pt/hunters Creek. He had 3 shotgun rounds in his pocket. Officers located a rifle and shotgun inside the car. The suspect stated the car was his, but he had not driven it that day and he didn't know how the shotgun shells got into his pocket. He also stated he was never at the house. He also happened to be on parole. Vanna Sisounthone 5-10-68 was arrested for several gun charges, resisting arrest and parole violation. 5:28 pm, Bell/Rio Linda, Traffic Collision Robla A car was driving on Bell when a car coming the other way came into the oncoming lanes. The cars collided head on. The female driver was transported to the hospital with major injuries to her legs.

10/13/09 8:58 pm, 4242 Norwood (McDonalds), Robbery Robla Two armed subjects entered the McDonalds. One went behind the counter and forced the employee to the ground and then took money from the safe. The other suspect took the register drawer. They both fled to a waiting car that was parked on Jessie Ave (with a 3rd suspect driving). Suspect: #1 Male White Adult, 30yrs., 5'8", 210 lbs, grey hoodie, blue bandana over face, black sweat pants..#2. Male Samoan, 25 yrs., 5'8", 230 lbs, grey hoodie, blue bandana over face. The car was a White full size sedan. 2:08 am, 595 Santiago, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers Murawski and Streich contacted a subject sitting in a grey Honda parked at the above address. A search of the car and subject revealed a bindle of methamphetamine and another bindle of marijuana. Emiliano Lopez 9/10/74 was arrested on drug charges. 1:00 am, Empress/Calvados, Drug Arrest N. Richardson Village Officers Macauley and Young went to the above address to conduct a probation search. A parolee answered the door and they searched him and the residence. They located methamphetamine in one pocket, marijuana in another pocket and a narcotic pipe in his pocket as well. Michael Ihnat 5/30/77 was arrested on drug charges and parole violation. 4:39 pm, 1513 Youngs Ave, Warrant Arrest Robla Officers Topaz and Peterson located a subject with a "possession of stolen property" warrant. Jonathan Williams 12/23/81 was arrested for the warrant.

10:58 pm, Darina/Del paso blvd, Shooting N. Sac Officers responded to a call of a subject down that had been shot. Officers located the victim with a gun shot wound to his back. The victim didn't give officers much information other then he was walking in the area and got shot (no suspect information). The victim was a parolee that lives in Rancho Cordova and has ties to Oak park. Officers utilized the camera's on the boulevard and gathered additional information they are still following up on. The victim is expected to survive. 10:12 pm, Rio Linda/ford, Hit & Run/DUI/Arrest Hagginwood The suspect was involved in a collision at Rio Linda/Ford and then left the scene in his car (Ford thunderbird). Officers Bevins and Yound located the suspect and car at Eleanor/Rio Linda and stopped him. Jose Guadalupe 12/12/69 was arrested for DUI, Hit & run, and no drivers license. 4:10 pm, 3296 Marysville (Quick Stop), Robber/Assault Hagginwood Two female victim's stated they were at the quick stop when they were approached by the suspect. He wanted to sit in their car so they let him. They pulled around the building and parked in a stall. The suspect then took money from one of the victim's purse (over $2,000). One victim tried to stop him and they struggled - ultimately the suspect tried to stab one of the victim's with a knife and fled on foot through Hagginwood Park. Officers, with the assistance of witnesses, were able to track what house the suspect ran to on High Street. Officer Rafiq observed the suspect driving at a high rate of speed North on Marysville boulevard in a White Dodge. The suspect drove on the wrong side of the road and then back on the correct side. He ran a red light at South Ave. in front of Sgt. Pettit. He then went west on Harris at a high rate of speed while officers were chasing him. He ran numerous stop signs until he crashed at Rio Linda/Harris into the curb. The suspect fled from the car on foot and ran past an approaching K-9 officer. Officer Rafiq caught him as he attempted to jump a fence at 3828 Rio Linda. The suspect was extremely intoxicated and had two baggies on Marijuana on him. Other officers detained the other two subjects at the car. They located additional cocaine in the car. John Tikoisuva 1/13/81 was arrested on Felony DUI, Felony Hit & Run, evading officers, drug charges, resisting arrest, and parole violation. Bike Patrol - Del paso boulevard Patrol Officers Jarvis and Edmonson worked the boulevard on bicycles. They made numerous stops and wrote 1 citation.

10/10/09 5:45 pm, El Camino/Del Paso, DUI/Hit & Run/Arrest N. Sac The suspect crashed into another car at the above location. He then fled the scene with witnesses chasing him. He collided with another car at Traction/El Camino. Officers arrested Mario Gomez 7/10/79 for felony DUI and 3 warrants (one of which was for DUI). 12:36 pm, 00-99 block of Cathcart, Attempt Burglary Strawberry Manor The victim recently moved into this location. She heard someone ringing the doorbell but didn't answer the door. She looked out and saw 3 Male Black subjects at the door. They then began banging on the door, but she still didn't answer the door. They left the front of the house and soon were attempting to get into her back door. She called the police and the suspects fled her back yard. Sgt. Pettit located two subjects walking at Mabel/Graves. One was identified positively as one of the suspects. Officers bound a baggie of marijuana in his pocket and a piece of rock cocain in another pocket. The 14 yr. old suspect was arrested for the attempt burglary and drug charges. The other suspects were not identified. 3:09 am, Norwood/Morey, Drug Arrest Del paso Heights Officers Spencer and Hawley observed a Gold Buick backed into a stall inside Robertson Park. They pulled into the parking lot and the car immediately left onto Norwood. They stopped the car at Norwood/Morey. The sole occupant was on both parole and probation. A search of the suspect and his car revealed rock cacaine in his shoe. Glenn Haney 4/19/54 was arrested on drug charges and parole violation.

10/9/09 11:35 pm, Gun shots fired from moving cars, Evergreen/El Camino N. Sac A green Honda Civic was driving on El Camino and was fleeing a SUV. The passenger in the SUV was shooting a gun at the Civic. The Civic attempted to turn south onto Evergreen, but collided with the Quality Tire Shop. The SUV pulled up along side the Civic and fired multiple times into the Civic. Three subjects got out of the Civic with a long gun (possibly a shotgun) and ran across El Camino - the SUV also drove off. Officers arrived and located a bullet hole in the Civic's window and the Civic was still running - crashed into a storage bin. They also located unused rounds inside the car. The subjects that ran from the Green Civic were described as Male Black Adults. The SUV that fled the area was described as a Ford Explorer with chrome rims. No one ever came forward from the Civic. The Civic turned out to be stolen that same night from the Movie theater on Ethan. 9:03 pm, 4914 Willard, Drug Arrest Robla POP Officer Canepa followed up on possible drug dealing at this location. He was able to determine a subject with an outstanding warrant stayed there and another subject on parole for burglary stayed there. The POP team went to the location to arrest the subject with the warrant. The subject was not home but they conducted a parole search instead. They located a significant amount of marijuana, a marijuana plant in the back yard, a scale, numerous empty baggies and a surveillance camera system on the front of the house. Michael Williams 9/18/90 was arrested on drug charges. 6:28 pm, 1436 Nogales, Warrant Arrest The POP team conducted a search warrant at this location a few weeks ago - finding narcotics and illegal guns. The suspect was arrested but then never showed up for court. On the above date, POP Officers returned to the address and arrested the subject for his warrant for not showing up for court. Thavinh Chanhthathep 11/8/64 is now back in jail. 11:07 am, 1115 Frienza , Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officer Davis stopped a subject on a bike as he was leaving the above location. He was on searchable probation and was found to have a baggie of Methamphetamine on him. Melvin McCarthy 9/12/63 was arrested on drug charges.

Hagginwood POP Sgt. Nasca and Officers Fong and Canepa stopped a car at the above location. They located cocaine on the suspect. John Allen 8/17/69 was arrested on drug charges. 7:30 pm, 2700 block of Oakmont, Indecent Exposure Noralto The suspect was sitting in a lawn chair in the apartment complex. He was masturbating and appeared to be watching some kids play that were nearby. A neighbor yelled at the suspect and he left the area. Officers arrived and the suspect was located sitting in front of 2730 Oakmont. The suspect was on searchable probation and is a registered sex offender. Juan Quiroz 6/15/58 was arrested for indecent exposure and lewd acts in public and violation of probation.

10/7/09 12:13 pm, 2000 block of Oxford, Burglary/Arrest Woodlake The suspect walked to the back of a residence. The neighbor saw this SUSPICIOUS activity and called police. The officers set up on all sides of the area before approaching. The suspect tried to run from officers over the back fence into the Canterbury Inn area. Officer Sanguinetti was waiting for him as he attempted to jump over. He saw the officer and stayed on top of the fence refusing officers commands to surrender. He was sprayed with OC spray by the officer and he fled back over the fence the way he came - into the arms of Officer Auger and K-9 Officer Hoversten. A second suspect was also captured at the house. One suspect already had a warrant for his arrest from a previous burglary in the Woodlake area. The officers and detectives were able to connect the suspects to at least 6 burglaries in the Woodlake area between July and October. The streets they burglarized were Oxford, Canterbury, Woodlake, Southgate (twice) and Edgewater. Detectives are still conducting follow up to see if they are responsible for additional burglaries. Both subjects were homeless and living near the Costco. Salvador Martinez 12/9/76 and Guilermo Vargas-Lopez 10/28/73 were arrested on several burglary charges. Vargas-Lopez lied to officers for a long time about his real name. GREAT call by neighbors that hopefully will put a stop to the burglaries in Woodlake....This is why we ALL need to call in ALL suspicious Activity. 9:37 am, Del Paso Blvd/Northgate (Bike Trail), Assault Northgate/Gardenland The victim was riding his bike when he came across the suspect on the bike trail. The suspect hit the victim as he rode by and then tried to punch him again. The first punch hit the victim's North Sac Cops Log | 52    

helmet and the victim was able to keep riding. The suspect was yelling at the victim, but he was hard to understand. Officers located the suspect on the bike trail at Colfax/Altos. Philip Roberts 3/16/85 was arrested on battery charges and violation of probation. Officers are looking into the possibility of him being involved in the previous days assault. Del Paso Blvd., N. Sac POP Officer Fong and Canepa worked the boulevard on bicycles. They made numerous contacts but no significant arrests. Traffic Enforcement POP Officer John Banks worked the area of Arden/Business 80. He wrote 5 traffic citations.

10/6/09 11:36 pm, 144 El Camino, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Murawski and Streich went to the above address to conduct a probation search. When they got there, one suspect left out the back of the house and attempted to go into a rear out building. Inside the out building were two other subjects. A search of the out building revealed methamphetamine, a narcotic pipe and illegal prescription medication inside a purse. Cynthia Lawrence 10/25/61 was arrested on drug charges and Rachel Monahan 10/10/79 was arrested on a drug warrant. 10:42 pm, Morey/Knightlinger, Gun/Stolen Car Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers Bryan and Boyd were conducting follow up on the recent shootings in the Eleanor area involving a shotgun. They observed two subjects in a Green Honda Civic and another subject standing just outside of the car. The car was reported stolen. When the suspect's saw the officers, one suspect ran into the driveway of 641 Morey. Officer Boyd caught him as he was attempting to jump the fence. Officer Bryan detained the other two subjects at the car. He also loaded an illegal Sawed Off Shotgun on the passenger seat. Jose Martinez 4/5/84 was arrested on several gun charges and a burglary warrant. Enrique Ledesma 8/19/85 was arrested on gun charges and violation of probation. 2:25 pm, Grove/Barrette, Robbery N. Sac The victim and a friend were working on his truck. The suspect came up behind the victim and began to choke him. He demanded the victim's "stuff". The victim lost consciousness and when he woke up he was missing his wallet and prescription medication. The victim's friend came to his aid during the assault but was confronted by a 2nd suspect. The 2nd suspect pulled a gun on the friend and told him to leave. Suspect#1. male black, 25 yrs., 5'10", 150 lbs, grey hat and bald head. #2. Male White adult. North Sac Cops Log | 53    

10:59 am, Redondo, Ammunition Arrest Wills Acres Officers Hughes and Duink stopped a subject in the area. They conducted a probation search at his house and located several live rounds of .38 caliber ammunition. The juvenile suspect had been recently arrested for burglarizing a home where a .38 gun was stolen. The gun was never recovered, but these are possibly the rounds to the gun. The 13 yr. old suspect was arrested for a juvenile in possession of ammunition.

10/5/09 1:20 pm, 3700 block of Clay St., Assault/Arrest Del Paso Heights The victim and her mother got into an argument over the phone. Soon after, the mother and the victim's brother showed up at the victim's home. They eventually forced their way into the home and began assaulting the victim and her husband - with the victim's 2 yr. old child in the same area. The suspect used a pot and broom at different times during the assault. The suspects left prior to officers arrival. Later on that evening, Officers located the mother at 817 Haggin and arrested her. The other suspect was not located. Serneita Simon 7/2/71 was arrested for burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, threats, and child endangerment. 12:47 pm, Eleanor/Oakmont, Shooting Noralto Two subjects were walking down the street when a car pulled up, the suspects got out and shot one victim in the back with a shotgun. The suspects fled in their car and the victim's ran from the area. The suspect description was a Male Hispanic Adult or a Male Black Adult. The suspect car was a WHITE MINI VAN (POSSIBLY A DODGE CARAVAN W/ TINTED REAR WINDOWS). This is a similar description and incident to what happened at Rio Linda/Eleanor on 9/23/09 @ 5:45 pm (same vehicle and suspect description) where two juveniles were shot in the back with a shotgun. She became suspicious and circled around the block, but the suspect was gone when she returned. The suspect returned and broke into the victim's house through an open window. The suspect took a tv, soda, games, a laptop and jewelry. The suspect was confronted by the victim's neighbor as he was attempting to leave. 10/4/09 7:50 pm, Drug Arrest, Plaza/Rio Linda Noralto Officers Cunningham & Galliano stopped a subject at the above location. He had a warrant for possession of drugs and was found to have a baggie of methamphetamine on him when officers contacted him. John Hampton Jr. 5/18/73 was arrested on drug charges and his warrant. 7:48 pm, South/Altos, Drug Arrest Del paso Heights Officers Bevins and Young contacted a subject on a bike at the above location. He got off the bike and began to walk away from the officers despite them telling him to stop. They eventually grabbed the suspect and despite his attempts to pull away were able to get him into handcuffs. They located 27 baggies of marijuana in his pocket, money and an illegal knife. Derek Charles 5/31/71 was arrested on drug and weapons charges. 3:49 am, Traffic collision w/ Injuries, 4200 block of Rio Linda Robla 3 juveniles (all under 15 yrs. old) were driving a PT cruiser. The car ran into a house at the above location and struck one of the residents of the home. The 3 juveniles sustained major injuries and were all transported to the hospital. It was previously reported that one of the juveniles was deceased - This is inaccurate. All three juveniles are still at the hospital and have major injuries. 12:45 am, 1080 Acacia, Gun Arrest Hagginwood Officer Schiele, Hawley, Spencer and Dahl went to the above location to conduct a probation search of the suspect. He was on probation for weapons violations. They located the suspect and three others (one was on parole) inside the trailer that was in the driveway. A search of the garage revealed an illegal sawed off shotgun. They arrested Jerel Elliott 7/13/54 for gun charges and violation of probation.

10/3/09 9:58 pm, 1600 Arden (Shell), Assault/Arrest North Sac Cops Log | 55    

Point West The victim was in the passenger seat of a car at the gas station. The suspect walked up, broke out the window with his hand and punched the victim several times. The victim and suspect do not know each other. Officers located the suspect in the area with injuries to his hands. The victim was wheelchair bound and had visible injuries to his head. The suspect was taken to the hospital where he received stitches to his hands and then booked into the jail. Misael Miranda 8/3/85 was arrested for battery and vandalism. POP Officers Fong and Canepa worked Del paso blvd. on bicycles. They made numerous stops but no significant arrests.

10/2/09 5:40 pm, 2246 Fairfield, Warrant Arrest, Officer Cunningham saw the suspect who was wanted for a no bail gun warrant. She ran into the house upon seeing the officer. She eventually came out of the house after hearing the k-9 was going to come into the house to find her. Gayle Boykins 5/16/51 was arrested on her felony warrant. 2:19pm, Edgewater/Redwood, Parolee/Drug/Arrest N. Sac Officer Kroupa contacted a subject at the above location. The subject was a Parolee at Large and was found to have a baggie of methamphetamine on him- along with a "loaded" syringe. Steve Bargas 11/19/55 was arrested on drug charges and his parole violation. 9:19 am, Parolee Arrest, 2600 Rio Linda (Bonfare Mkt) Noralto Officer Rafiq attempted to stop a man and woman that were loitering in front of the market. The male subject rode off on his bicycle despite Officer Rafiq telling him to stop. The suspect eventually jumped from his bike and ran from the officer. He jumped a fence at 2625 Del paso and the officer lost sight of him. The female half was soon seen trying to enter Apartment #5. Officers were able to determine the suspect was hiding in #5 and called a K-9. The suspect came out prior to the K-9 searching for him. Ansar Muhammed 4/30/70 was arrested for resisting officers, trespassing, and parole violation. The female half of this incident was also cited for trespassing and possession of a narcotic pipe.

10/1/09 2:35 pm, 500 block of Southgate, Burglary Woodlake North Sac Cops Log | 56    

The suspect broke a back window. They also cut off the power to the house via the circuit breaker. They took jewelry and money. 8:40 am, Pursuit/Stolen Car Hagginwood Officer Bohrer attempted to stop a gold Honda at the above location. The Male Hispanic Driver (w/ a mustache) fled from the officer in the car. He drove at high speeds and the officer canceled the pursuit because of the possible dangers to the public. Officers later located the car on Stonecreek (north of W. El Camino) parked. Later it was discovered the car was an unreported stolen car. The suspect was never located.

9/30/09 Between 8:00am and 5:45pm, 2000 block of Edgewater, Burglary Woodlake The suspect(s) broke a window near a back door. They took small items such as flash lights and a fishing reel. they also ate some food and took some beer and additional food. Some neighbors saw two Male Hispanic Juveniles (16-17 yrs) with an empty shoulder bag walking in the area around 9:00 am. they also saw a Male White Adult (20's) with dark slick hair looking into the driveways of other homes. It is unknown if any of these people have anything to do with the burglary....Keep your eye out for your neighbors. 7:00 am, 1436 Nogales, Drug/Gun/Parolee/Arrest Del Paso Heights The North POP team served a drug search warrant at the above location. They located large marijuana grow, 4 guns (2 were reported stolen), a large amount of money, scales, packaging and other paperwork indicative of drug sales. They arrested two subjects for several charges - one was a parolee. Louie Vonghasook 9/13/82 was arrested for parole violation, drug cultivation, drug sales, possession of stolen property, felon in possession of a gun, and felon in possession of ammunition.

9/29/09 1:28 pm, Del Paso Blvd area (Hagginwood), Stolen "Bait" Car. Someone tampered with the "bait" car in the above area. Officers located the car driving down the street and eventually stopped the car. The female driver was arrested for stealing the bait car. 1:09 pm, Spartan Wy., Robbery Glenwood Meadows North Sac Cops Log | 57    

The suspects were in the victim's yard when the victim confronted them. One suspect had a golf club and threatened the victim with it. Two other supsects were grabbing the marijuana plants in the victim's yard. All of the suspects fled in a truck. The suspects were: #1. male white adult, #2. male white adult, #3. Male white adult, 30-40 yrs., 5'9", 150 lbs, short dark hair. The vehicle: Older Brown Toyota truck (80's), with a brown snug fit camper shell that was brown with brown and yellow stripes. 12:45 pm, 3600 Dayton, Shooting/Stolen Gun E. Del Paso Heights The victim stated 3 subjects came into his backyard and brandished a gun at him. He fired a shotgun at the suspects and they fled. The suspects fled in a dark 4-door sedan. The victim had a marijuana grow in his yard, but had medical marijuana cards for the grow - the suspects were apparently trying to steal his marijuana. Officers arrived at the scene, but the suspects were gone. Turns out the shotgun the victim used was reported stolen from the County. Officers arrested Bill Licon 6/26/56 for possession of stolen property. The suspects were described as: 1. Male Black adult, #2. male Hispanic adult, #3 Male Hispanic adult. The car was described as a dark 4-door sedan. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the North Area - focusing on Plaza/Rio Linda. They wrote 50 traffic citations and towed 10 cars.

9/28/09 12:06 pm, 3937 Belden St., Gun/Drug/Arrest Del Paso Heights A SMUD employee went to the above address to cut off the power. He knocked on the door but didn't get an answer. He went around the side of the house to cut off the power. He was confronted by a subject that was inside the house. This subject was holding a rifle when he confronted the SMUD employee. The employee left the area and called police. Officers arrived and surrounded the house. The suspect jumped out a side window and threw a blanket over the fence. Officers detained him and found the blanket on the other side of the fence - the blanket contained an assault rifle. Officers also located a large amount of marijuana inside the house. The person who threw the gun over the fence was not identified by the SMUD employee as the person who displayed the rifle. Marcus Thomas 9/15/75 was arrested on gun charges and drug charges. 11:39 am, Arden/Acoma, Parolee Arrest N. Sac Officers Hughes and Duink stopped a subject at the above location. Turns out he was a parolee at large. Darnell Murray 11/22/70 was arrested on his parole violation.

6:10 am, 4300 block of Austin, Assault Glenwood Meadows The victim noticed the power was off inside his home and went outside the flip the breaker. As he went outside, he was confronted by two subjects and beaten with clubs. The suspects fled out of the yard after hitting the vicitm. Suspects: #1 Male (unk race) late 20's/early 30's, 5'8" to 5'10", dark beanie, short curly hair...#2 Male (unk Race), Late 20's/Early 30's, 5'8" to 5'19", dark beanie, long hair. The victim had injuries to his head and upper body.

9/27/09 9:19 pm, 4500 block of Windcloud, Shooting Robla Someone shot a bullet through the windshield of a car parked at the above location. Nothing was seen and nothing heard from the victim's or neighbors. 7:41 am, Rio Linda/Eleanor, Parolee Arrest Noralto Officers Sabra and Bohrer contacted two subjects at the above location. While talking to them one of them ran from the police. Officers caught him and he continued to struggle with officers. At one point he grabbed the officers leg and attempted to lift him off the ground. Officers called for "cover" and when the additional officer arrived, they were able to force his hands behind his back. They located a knife in his pocket and he was a Parolee At Large. Michael Neider 4/22/81 was arrested for resisting officers and his parole violation warrant. 6:20 am, Burglary, 2500 block of Grove***UPDATE*** Two suspects entered the shed of the above location and took tools. One suspect (David Humpherys) was arrested that same day. After some follow up by detective Johnson, the 2nd suspect was identified. On 9/28/09 @ 7:06 pm Officers Galliano/Cunningham located the 2nd suspect at Darina/Del paso blvd. Temiga Brown 5/25/74 was arrested for the burglary.

9/26/09 5:30 pm, Bell/Bollenbacher, Domestic violence Robla The victim and suspect have two children together. The suspect and victim got into an argument and the suspect began to punch the victim as he was driving erratically on the street with their two children in the car. He slowed down in a cul de sac and the victim jumped out of the car. The suspect caught her and attempted to drag her back to the car by her hair. The victim North Sac Cops Log | 59    

yelled for help from neighbors and was able to break free from the suspect. At this time one of the children (both under 10 yrs. old) ran out of the van and the suspect grabbed the child. A neighbor came to their aid and grabbed the suspect until the police arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital and the suspect was arrested. Richard Vargas was arrested for domestic violence with injury and willful cruelty to children. 1:44 pm, Beaumont/Darina, Gun Arrest N. Sac Officer Davis was in the above area when he drove by two subjects. He noticed on put something in his waistband and pull his shirt over it as the officers drove by. The officer noticed, after he drove by, the subject throw something in the front yard of 2464 Beaumont. The officer stopped both subjects and located the item the suspect threw on the lawn - it was a gun and a glove. The gun was stolen form the County in a Burglary from 2008. The other subject the suspect was talking with was on probation. The 17 yr. old suspect was arrested on gun charges and possession of stolen property. 12:16 am, 3900 Roseville Rd (Lt. Rail Station), Vandalism Officers had a "Bait" car at the above location. Officers responded to the location when someone tampered with the car. A subject was walking away from the car and was contacted at Harris/Talent. The rear window of the "bait" car had been broken with a board with nails found inside the car. The 17 yr. old was cited for vandalizing the car. 9:38 am, Perktel St., Vandalism Hagginwood The vicitm's located "KKK" spray painted on both front doors of their car. Officers obtained some leads on some possible suspects, but no one was arrested at this time. 4:41 am, Arcade Blvd, "Bait Car"/Arrest Hagginwood Officers responded to the above location regarding someone tampering with a "bait car". They located the suspect lying face down on the drivers seat of the car. They located the suspects own car parked directly behind the bait car. The suspect had a baggie of marijuana in his pocket. There was also a narcotic pipe and marijuana in the suspects car. Cissney Mitchell 1/7/65 (lives in Rancho Cordova) was arrested on drug charges. The CHP assisted the North POP team with enforcement efforts in N. Sac and Natomas. They wrote 66 citations, towed 10 cars, made 2 felony arrests, and conducted 20 probation/parole searches.

10:05 pm, Marconi Lt. Rail Station, "Bait Car"/Arrest, Officers responded to the above location regarding someone tampering with the "bait" car. They located the car driving out of the area. There were two subjects in the car. The driver kicked out the side window and fled from officers on foot. The passenger jumped out of the window and attempted to run but was immediately caught by officers. The driver climbed the fence into the Lt. Rail maintenance yard. He was eventually located by the K-9 hiding inside one of the Lt. Rail Trains. He had a shaved vehicle key in his possession. The passenger was identified and released at the time. The 16 yr. old driver was arrested for stealing the car. Detectives conducted more follow up and were able to determine the 15 yr. old passenger was arrestable for stealing the car also. On 9/26/09 @ 4:00 pm, Officers Galliano & Cox responded to the passengers address and arrested him for stealing the car also. 6:52 pm, 2600 block of Grove Ave, Stabbing Noralto Two housemates got into an argument. The suspect obtained a pair of scissor and stabbed the victim in the stomach. The suspect was identified but fled the area prior to officers arrival. The victim sustained serious but not life threatening injuries. 1:00 pm, South/Osmer, Stolen Car/Arrest Del Paso Heights Officer Jarvis observed a Red Nissan Pathfinder driving on Nogales. The car was reported stolen. Officers stopped the car at South/Osmer and arrested the driver - who was on Parole. Allen Franks 1/2/67 (lives on Howe Ave) was arrested for the stolen car and parole violation. Dayshift Officer Kroupa located 7 truants in N. Sac today.

9/24/09 7:13 pm, High/Rivera (Hagginwood Park), Gun Arrest Hagginwood Officers responded to a call of a fight at the park possibly involving guns and knives. Officer Topaz arrived and observed two subjects in the corner of the park. One was holding something under his shirt near his waistband. When Officer Topaz approached, one suspect (the one that was holding something) took off running. He jumped some fences and was hiding in some bushes. Officers located him and he ran from them again. He ran into a yard on high street and began jumping into yards on Los Robles. He jumped into a yard with some dogs and was confronted by the home owner. The suspect at this point was holding a gun in his hand (this is what he was holding under his shirt as he was running from Off. Topaz). The home owner took the gun from the suspect and the suspect fled out of his yard. At this same time, Officer Peterson was attempting to look over the fence. disarm the gun he took from the suspect, fired the gun into the ground. Officer Peterson, not having a clear view of the yard, heard the gunshot and thought the suspect shot at her. Eventually officers got the gun from the home owner. Officer Hosmer was then hailed by neighbors on Rivera about a sighting of the suspect. Officer Hosmer located the suspect on Rivera. He was arrested on gun charges and resisting arrest. At about 9:20 pm, POP Sergeant Nasca and Officer Oliver attempted to stop a subject riding a bike. The subject fled from Officers as he dropped a gun magazine on the ground. Officers caught him at 1445 Nogales as he dumped a handgun. Turned out this subject was the 2nd subject Officer Topaz saw in the park originally. Elijah Munroe-Mays 4/30/90 was arrested on several gun charges and resisting arrest. Steven Bonds 7/17/89 was also arrested on several gun charges...GREAT job of concerned witnesses calling in the original fight and pointing out the suspect to the officers!!! 1:42 pm, Rio Linda/Eleanor, Parolee Arrest Noralto Officers Davis and Sabra observed a subject hailing all the cars as they drove by. Officers approached the subject and he dropped something behind a parked car. The suspect then ran from officers. Officer Davis attempted to grab him, but fell to the ground (sustaining scrapes/cuts to head, eye, and legs). Officer Sabra caught and handcuffed the suspect. Officers located a knife which the suspect dropped behind the parked car. Turned out this subject was a Parolee At Large. Ryan Ketcherside 4/11/81 was arrested for is parole violation. 11:20 am, 470 Grand Ave, Parolee Arrest/Gun Del Paso heights The SWAT team went to the above address to conduct a parole search. The parolee they were looking for wasn't home, but his brother answered the door - who was also on parole. They located a gun inside the home and a marijuana plant in the side yard. The parolee cannot be in possession or within reach of a gun. He was arrested for a parole violation. As the officers were leaving, the parolee they were looking for arrived home. He too was arrested for parole violation. Xao Thao 7/11/78 and Ma Thao 4/14/85 were both booked into the County Jail. 11:08 am, 1132 Rivera, Drugs/Stolen Gun/Arrest Hagginwood Officers responded to a call of a suspicious person. They located the subject who stated 3 people just broke into his home and robbed him. Officers located a stolen rifle (stolen in a car burglary) inside the house and a bag of marijuana, scale, and large amount of money in a car parked outside. 9/23/09 5:45 pm, Rio Linda/Eleanor, Shooting Noralto The two victims (Male Hispanic Juveniles, 17 & 16 yrs. old) were riding a bicycle in the above area. The suspects pulled up in a van, got out and shot the victim's with a shotgun. They fled in the same van. The subject that shot the gun was described as: MALE HISPANIC, 20'S, 5'8", SHAVED HEAD, WEARING A WHITE TANK TOP. The 2nd suspect was described as a MALE HISPANIC ADULT. The van was described as: WHITE 90's, FULL SIZE DODGE VAN. The victim's were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 5:41 pm, Pursuit, Rio Linda Blvd Del Paso Heights The CHP started a pursuit in Rio Linda. The suspect vehicle fled from the CHP south on Rio Linda into Sacramento. Sac PD officers assisted with the pursuit and the CHP eventually caught the suspect after he drove through a vacant field near Dry Creek/Marysville. They caught him at Branch/Las palmas 3:52 pm, 4000 block of Taylor, Indecent Exposure Robla The teenage female victim was walking home from school. The suspect was standing in the doorway to his house and dropped his shorts and began to masturbate as he looked at the victim walking. The victim went home quickly when she saw the suspect. Officers contacted one subject and detectives are continuing to follow up on leads in this case. The suspect was described as a MALE HISPANIC ADULT, DARK HAIR, LARGE MUSTACHE, NO SHIRT AND KHAKI SHORTS. 3:06 am, Royal Oaks/Leisure Lane, Stolen Car/Pursuit/Arrest Woodlake Officer Smith located a stolen car driving on Bus. 80 just prior to Hwy 160. He attempted to stop the car but it fled from the officer. Officers eventually forced the car to stop and took the driver into custody. 9/21/09 11:16 pm, Del Paso/Eleanor, Carjacking Arrest Hagginwood. Officer smith located a car that was stolen in a car jacking incident in the County. The suspect in the car jacking had fired a round at the victim during the theft. Officers stopped the car as it pulled into the driveway of 2883 Belden. The six women in the car were detained. The owner of the house did not know any of the occupants of the car. A steak knife was located on the floor board of the car. The 15 yr. old driver was taken to Juvenile Hall. 6:50 pm, Fig/South, Car Jacking Del Paso Heights The suspect (ex-boyfriend of victim) pushed the victim out of her car and took her car. The suspect is a known parolee but was not located by officers. Later in the evening, the victim located her car in Oak Park. 5:02 pm, 500 Arden Way (Park - Police Memorial), Indecent exposure Woodlake A neighbor observed the suspect pull down his pants and sit on the park bench at the same time two teenage girls were walking in his direction. A short time later he observed the suspect do the same thing while a very small child was playing in the park. The neighbor called police. Officer Hosmer arrived in time to observe a 1 1/2 yr. old child playing in the park with another adult as the suspect was sitting on the bench with his pants around his ankles and he was masturbating. When the officer approached, the suspect immediately pulled up his pants. The small child and adult didn't actually see what the suspect was doing. Zewde Yhannes 3/13/88 was arrested for lewd conduct in public and indecent exposure. GREAT call by the neighbor resulted in getting this suspect out of the park!!! 8:03 am, 800 block of Park Rd, Theft/Arrest Robla Neighbors called in regarding subjects jumping a fence into the back yard of a home. suspect description. About 40 minutes later, Officer Duink located the car driving in the area of Azevedo/Osuna. The car pulled into the Woodbridge apartments where officers stopped it. The driver was on parole and one of the two passengers were on probation. Officers located several items in the car - hooded sweatshirts, masks, a wig, 2-way radios, a scanner, pry bar, screw dirver etc. Turns out the house they jumped the fence at had a legal marijuana grow in the yard. Joel Sohal 11/7/88 (Lives in Del paso Heights) was arrested for parole violation, Attempt Grand Theft, Prowling, Possession of burglary tools, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Pablo Gonzalez 2/2/91 (lives in Northgate/Gardenland) was arrested on similar charges. Seylin Segvanhpheng 4/12/89 (lives in County near Arden/Fulton) was arrested on similar charges in addition to his warrant. GREAT job by concerned neighbors. The suspects were driving a white Toyota Tercel. 3:07 am, Del paso blvd/El Camino, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Spencer and Hawley stopped a Ford Aerostar for expired registration. The driver was on parole for possession of stolen property and the passenger was on probation for a stolen car. The female passenger was also only wearing lingerie. Officers located rock cocaine in the drivers pocket - he stated he had borrowed the shirt from an unknown subject. Ira Allen 3/25/61 (from citrus heights) was arrested on drug charges and parole violation.

9/20/09 9:49 am, Congress/Los Robles, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Davis contacted a subject she knew from previous contacts to be on probation. Officers located a baggie of methamphetamine in his pocket. A probation search at his home (941 congress) revealed over 10 lbs of marijuana and a scale. David Earle 6/20/85 was arrested on drug charges. Tara Fischer 11/30/89 (located at the house) was also arrested on drug charges. 5:43 am, 3900 block of Elm St., Shooting Del Paso Heights The victim's house was shot at. No one saw the suspects. The house and a car were hit by bullets.

POP Sgt. Nasca and Officer Canepa were working bicycles on the boulevard. They observed the suspect approach several people in front of Sunland Liquor. They contacted him and located a bag tucked in the waist of his shorts. There was a narcotic pipe in the shorts and he was on parole. Fabian Dykes 9/18/62 was arrested for narcotic paraphernalia and parole violation. 7:54pm, Auburn/Park Rd (Del Paso Park), Assault/Robbery, The victim stated he was walking into the park to camp for the night when he saw 3 suspects. The victim stated the suspects told him it was their park and began to punch him. They took his red backpack and camping gear. The victim was bleeding from his head and mouth and was taken to the hospital. The suspects were described as 3 Male White Adults. 7:47 am, 922 Del Paso Rd., Arson N. Sac The suspect was setting a pile of leaves on fire when the witnesses called police and fire. Officers located the suspect who stated she was taking a smudge bath. The slightly burned the side of the building before it was put out. Laura Coker 5/3/54 was arrested for reckless burning.

9/18/09 10:42 pm, Rio Linda/Eleanor, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers Galliano and Macauley attempted to stop a subject on a bicycle. He kept going and refused to stop. He put his hand in his pocket and officers ordered him to remove it - he refused. Officers eventually pulled his hand out and located a knife (blade locked open) in his pocket along with a baggie of methamphetamine. Robert Porter 8/24/70 was arrested on drug charges and his no bail warrant. 6:33 pm, Rio Linda/Lampasas, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers Galliano and Macauley stopped a subject that was standing on the corner. He turned away from officers when he saw them pull up. The subject was on parole and officers located a baggie of methamphetamine on the grass where he turned away from officers. Rodel Magdangal 2/28/71 was arrested for drugs and parole violation. 2:21 am, Balsam/Roanoke, Drug Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers Murawski and Streich contacted a subject at the above location. Richardson Village Officers Hawley and Spencer conducted a traffic stop at the above location. They located drugs on the suspect. Miguel Espitia 12/30/81 was arrested on drug charges. 12:48 am, Plaza/Del Paso, Warrant Arrest N. Sac Officers Murawski and Streich contacted a subject at the above location. He had a felony warrant for burglary and fraudulent checks. Kerry Jones 12/12/79 was arrested.

9/17/09 10:27 pm, Arden/Colfax, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officer Surjan stopped a car at the above location. There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car as the officer approached. A search of the car revealed marijuana, a scale, baggies and a large amount of money. The car was towed and suspect arrested. Nicholas Iors 2/13/88 was arrested on drug charges. He lives in N. Natomas Gateway West neighborhood.

9/16/09 11:00 pm, Rio Linda/Rivera, Shooting Hagginwood The victim was riding his bicycle in the above area when a green Toyota pulled up along side him. The suspect fired approximately 6 shots at the victim - hitting him multiple times in the legs and upper body. One bullet hit a nearby truck also. The victim is expected to survive his injuries and the suspects were gone when officers arrived. 9:45 pm, Huron/Harris, Assault Del Paso Heights The victim stated the suspect swerved in his car and hit him as he was walking down the street. The suspect fled in a blue car. The victim wasn't fully cooperative with officers. Someone called in a little later to advise that a subject just ran from a blue car at 1421 North Ave. Officers located the suspect car at this location and it was still running. The registered owner also (at this same time) was reporting his car as stolen. He told officers he couldn't respond to pick up his car and then hung up the phone on officers. The victim complained of pain to his leg and nose. No one was arrested. 7:53 pm, Robbery/Restraining Order/Arrest Ben Ali Neighborhood North Sac Cops Log | 67    

The suspect had stolen his estranged wife's cell phone from her and showed up around her house. She had a restraining order against him. Officer Hosmer responded and the suspect was supposedly in the neighborhood in a white Honda. Officers located the Honda and suspect at Crosby/Glenrose. Diego Hurtado 4/28/90 was arrested for robbery and violating a restraining order. 4:26 pm, 1950 Arden Wy (Chase Bank), stolen checks Point West The suspect attempted to cash a stolen check. The check was stolen the previous day in a burglary in the south area. The victim had reported their checks as stolen to the bank. Officers arrested Marsheelia Richardson 2/9/60 for stolen checks and probation violation. 7:00 am, Drug Arrest/Search Warrant, 305 Du Bois Glenwood Meadows The POP team served a search warrant at the above address due to drug activity. They located a very large amount of marijuana, scales, money, 2 guns, and plastic baggies. The POP team served a similar warrant at this same location for the same reason a couple of months ago and arrested the same people - on the same charges. Christopher Barnett 12/24/64 and Charolette Barnett 4/24/58 were arrested on drug charges and child endangerment. Christopher was also charged with gun crimes. Cameron Barnett 9/25/89 and Raven Wright 3/11/91 were also arrested on drug charges. 2:18 am, 739 Dixieanne, Parolee Arrest N. Sac Officers Streich and Murawski stopped a subject at the above location. He turned out to be a Parolee at large. Jabez Montaie 1/18/71 was arrested for his parole violation. 1:11am, 2600 block of Norwood, Shots Fired Noralto A house was shot several times at the above location. There isn't any suspect descriptions or vehicle descriptions. Several rounds stuck the house and went through the walls.

9/15/09 2:44 pm, 3200 block of Western, Home Invasion Strawberry Manor The victim was laying down in her bedroom when she saw Suspect #1 climbing in her window. She attempted to hit him with a bat and then tried to run out of her bedroom. She ran into Suspect #2 who was already in her house. the money was. They hit her on the head with the bat and scratched her with a metal object. They continued to demand money, but never got any. They eventually fled out the front door of the house. Suspect#1, Male Hispanic Adult, late 20's, long straight black hair, black gloves, 5'11", skinny. Suspect #2, Male Hispanic Adult.

9/14/09 11:57 pm, El Camino/Lexington, Stolen Car/Arrest N. Sac Officers Hanks and Jagur located a stolen Silver Toyota truck being driven at the above location. The truck was stolen from Truckee on 8/19/09. Michael Schmidt 8/11/60 was arrested for the stolen car. 10:54 pm, Bowles/Beaumont, Drug Arrest Noralto Officer Hastings made observed a white Chrysler in the parking lot of 2510 Traction. A subject walked up to the car, leaned into the window and then walked away. The car pulled away and the officer stopped it at the above location. There were two women in the car and officers located 2 scales, baggies, marijuana, narcotic pipes, a baggie of methamphetamine inside the car. The suspect also admitted to a baggie of methamphetamine in her pants - which officers located. Sonja Valdez 4/22/69 was arrested on drug charges. 5:30 pm, 2307 Empress, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Boyd and Bryan went to the above address to conduct a parole search. They located the parolee in the trailer in the back yard. They located Heroin, baggies, 2 scales, a baggie of methamphetamine inside the trailer. David Noonan 11/24/58 was arrested on drug charges and parole violation. Patrol Officers Topaz and Peterson patrolled the area around Four Oaks Market (E. Del paso Heights). They wrote 5 citations at that location.

9/13/09 9:23 pm, 3707 May St., Shooting Del Paso Heights There were 4-5 subjects shooting dice in front of apartment #2 at the above location. A vehicle drove by and shot in the direction of the above location. The bullets hit various cars and then another single shot was fired. The suspects fled in their car. around Apt. #2 (the subjects shooting dice were gone) and officers located some marijuana. The suspect vehicle was described as a Full Size Van - Brown or burgandy in color. No one was hurt. 6:05 pm, 3700 block of Didcot Cir, Assault N. Sac 4-5 male suspect arrived at the above location in a white SUV. They asked the victim for his brother, but the brother wasn't home. The suspect's punched the victim, which rendered him unconscious. They continued to hit and stomp on the victim. He sustained major injuries including a broken jaw. The suspect also punched two women as they were leaving. The suspect's were described as male Samoan adults. Officers are following up on leads on this case. ***UPDATE*** This incident was profiled on this email group on Monday. 4-5 male "Samoan's" arrived at the above address looking for a particular subject. They found his brother and beat him unconscious. He sustained major injuries to his head including a broken jaw. They also punched 2 women that were at the location also. They fled in a white Rodeo. On 9/14/09 Officers Cox, Cunningham, Galliano and MacCauley conducted follow up on this case and located one of the suspects. Follow up is continuing by detectives to identify the other subjects involved. Vilingia Siaosi 8/5/80 was arrested for Felony Assault and an outstanding warrant. 12:30 am, 400 block of Lindley, Robbery/Shooting Richardson Village The 5 victims (ages 16 & 17) were leaving a party when they were approached by 6-7 suspects. One suspect produced a gun and put it under one of the victim's chins - demanding his cell phone. All the victim's gave up their cell phones to the suspect. The suspects punched two of the victim's and then the victim's ran. The suspect fired the gun and struck one of the victim's in the leg as he was running away. The wound is not life threatening and the suspects fled the area. The suspects were described as 6-7 male black subjects, 17 - 19 yrs old. The main suspect was described as wearing a black hoodie with a gold design. 8:42 am, 3500 block of Altos, Injury/Assault N. Sac Officers responded to a call of a subject who had been shot. When officers arrived, the victim was uncooperative and kept asking why the officers were there. He refused to tell officers what happened even though he was bleeding extensively from his head. He initially refused to let fire personnel tend to his wound. Officers located a loaded gun magazine in his pocket. He was transported to the hospital and the injury was possibly from blunt force - but unknown for sure. Officers were unable to determine what happened. 4:42 am, 4000 Norwood (AM/PM), Assault/Gun/Arrest Robla

Several subjects arrived at the AM/PM in a red Chevy HHR. The suspect entered the store and got into a confrontation with the clerk. The suspect was 6'6" and over 300 lbs. He punched the clerk and knocked him unconscious. The suspect then chased a customer around the store threatening him. The suspect left and the other employee locked the door. The suspect returned and ripped open the doors even though they were locked. The suspect eventually left in the red car. Officer Longanecker located a possible suspect car at North/Rio Linda. The car had 5 occupants inside. Officers had each occupant exit the car. When the suspect (passenger) got out - he was holding a handgun in his hand. He was belligerent with officers, but dropped the gun on the ground. He attempted to kick the gun but was taken into custody by officers. One of the other passengers had a no bail warrant for his arrest. Avaitia Tuirabe (6'6", 325 lbs - lives on Ivy), 6/7/88 was arrested for felony battery and gun charges. Brian Fauolo 5/3/86 was arrested for his no bail warrant.

9/12/09 9:25 pm, Glenwood Elementary School (Englewood/Jessie), Robbery/Shooting/Arrest Glenwood Estates 3 suspects went to meet the victim at the above location. One of the suspect's produced a gun and shot the victim in the chest. The suspects fled in a tan Nissan Altima. Sgt. Lange located the car at Dry Creek/Bell. There were two women in the car who were arrested for the robbery. The male suspect was not in the car and was identified as a Parolee at Large out of the Bay Area. Officers also located some marijuana in the car.

9/11/09 6:24 pm, "Bait" property arrest Robla Area Officers placed some "bait" property in the Robla area due to the number of burglaries and thefts in the area. A subject took the property. Officers were able to located the property at 549 Grand Ave and arrest the suspect who took the property. Melvin Bolden 1/7/71 was arrested for grand theft and possession of stolen property. Graveyard Officers Streich and Murawski were working the area of Dixieanne - due to illegal activity. They arrested one subject for parole violation and cited several juveniles for curfew violations.

N. Sac POP Officer Blynn located a stolen car in the above area. Carlos Nunez 12/31/87 was arrested for the stolen car and possession of stolen property. He also had a warrant for the same thing. 2:00 pm, 1550 Roanoke, Stabbing/Arrest Del paso Heights The victim and suspect were in an argument in front of the above location and the suspect stabbed the victim in the abdomen area. The suspect (who lives in at the location) attempted to flee with his girlfriend but her car was out of gas. They eventually fled the area in a red ford escort. Officers located the escort (with the assistance of the helicopter) at Grand/Marysville. Inside the car were two subjects that had assisted the suspect with leaving the area, but dropped him off prior to officers stopping the car. One subject was on parole and was arrested for parole violation. Officers located the suspect's girlfriend at Noralto Elementary school and arrested her for the assault as well. The following day (9/11/09) Officer Harshbarger was able to determine the suspect was in W. Sac. W. Sac PD located and arrested the suspect in W. Sac. Officers booked John Knapp 6/24/74 for the stabbing and parole violation. Michelle Freeland 3/8/76 was arrested for the assault and Norman Fisher 7/6/75 was arrested for parole violation.

9/9/09 5:11 pm, Winters/North, Stolen Car/Pursuit E. Del paso Heights CHP officers were in pursuit of a car that got off the freeway on Winters. They chased the car to the area of Marysville/I-80 and fled on foot. The suspect got away, but he was identified as a Parolee at Large. POP Officers Blynn, Canepa, and fong worked Del Paso Blvd. on bicycles. They contacted numerous people and issued several citations.

9/8/09 10:14 pm, Pinell/Grand, Running gun battle E. Del Paso Heights The victim's stated their friend got into an argument with another subject at the Rainbow Market. They were then chased by an Older long black car. One of the suspects was hanging out of the window firing a gun at the victim's as they fled down the street in their White Buick Regal. They crashed at 4504 Pinell and fled from the car. Officers also located a gun near a North Sac Cops Log | 72    

brick wall where the victim's car was involved in the crash - possibly left by one of the subjects in the victim's car. There were multiple bullet holes in the back of the victim's car. The suspects were gone when officers arrived. 5:50 pm, 4704 Raley Blvd, Drug Arrest, The North POP team served a search warrant at the above location. They located 2 rifles in the tree house in the yard, a shotgun in the trailer, boxes of ammunition, and over 300 lbs of marijuana plants. One subject was arrested for a felon in possession of firearms and cultivation of marijuana and another subject was arrested for cultivation of marijuana. 5:03 pm, 739 Dixieanne, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officer Smith contacted two subject that were loitering in the apartment complex that did not live there. One of the subjects had been previous removed by the officer. One of the suspects was on probation. The probationer told the officer "no" when he was told he had to leave. The other subject simply ignored the officer. The 2nd subject refused to identify herself to the officer and when he went to detain her, she attempted to run from the officer. He ran after her and caught her. The 1st subject (who had already been handcuffed by the officer) attempted to get between the officer and the 2nd subject. The officer called for cover and eventually detained both subjects. Rock cocaine was found near the 2nd subject and 2 baggies of marijuan was also found in her purse. John McGee 5/22/75 was arrested for assault on an officer, resisting arrest, and violation of probation. Angel Moore 6/5/83 was arrested for drugs and resisting arrest. 1:55 pm, 3900 block of Jasmine, Burglary E. Del paso Heights. Officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress. The suspects had broken into the back door of a vacant home and cut open the walls and pulled out all the copper wiring. Neighbors called in this activity and officers located the suspects in the area driving a Black Chevy S-10 truck. The truck had a large amount of copper in the bed of the truck. John Vela 1/8/69 was arrested for burglary (lives on Harris) and Jeremiah Goode 12/22/87 was also arrested for burglary (lives on Roanoke). Great job by GREAT neighbors!! Sgt. Lange's team worked the North Area due to theft related crime. They put "bait" property out in the North Area. The put it out 3 times....and 3 times people stole the property within minutes. Ultimately they arrested 2 subjects - one being a parolee. This is an effort to reduce the number of burglaries and thefts in our neighborhoods.

Officers Topaz and Peterson responded to a disturbance call at the above location. They located a subject with 3 warrants for his arrest. They also located a syringe and methamphetamine in his pockets and wallet. Marco Vallejo 4/9/74 was arrested for drugs and warrants. 5:58 pm, Rio Linda/Eleanor, Drug Arrest Noralto Officer Marks and Lopez stopped a subject on a bicycle in the above area. He had over 10 illegal prescription pills in one pocket, some marijuana in the other pocket. He also had a misdemeanor warrant. Christopher Perez 11/13/75 was arrested on drug charges and his warrant. 2:00 am, 2900 block of Branch St, Burglary/Arrest Del paso Heights The victim called police stating the suspect from their previous nights burglary was in the area again. He was described as a Male Hispanic Adult wearing a blue shirt. The previous night, the victim was asleep when he heard noise in his house. He went to check and found the suspect standing inside his laundry room. He chased the suspect outside and the suspect fled in a burgundy colored car. Officers arrived on this night and saw a similar car in the area. The car fled from officers, ultimately crashing at Del Paso/Lampasas. The suspect (Male Hispanic wearing a blue shirt) fled from the car. Officer Tavelli and Bell found him stuck under a chain link fence at 2572 Rio Linda. He was intoxicated. He had two warrants (1 for drugs). He was arrested for his warrants, hit and run, lying about his name to officers, resisting arrest. Roberto Alvarez 12/7/78 was booked into the jail. He was a relative of one of the victim's friends.

9/6/09 9:12 pm, 4000 block of Taylor, Home Invasion Robla 2 suspects entered the house (possibly through unlocked door) and demanded money, drugs and guns. The victim's didn't have anything but a little money so the suspects took a cell phone and some money. The suspects were described as two Male Black Adults - armed with a shotgun. 6:25 pm, Arden Fair Mall, Gun/Drug/Stolen Car Arrest, Arden Fair Security located a stolen car in their parking lot. They were able to located the suspects that got out of the car inside the mall. Officers responded and eventually stopped the 5 suspects as they walked south on Heritage away from the mall. Two suspects had guns in their pocket and one had methamphetamine in his pocket. Officers also located marijuana inside the stolen car. The car was stolen from the City of Tracy in a burglary. Phillip Peraza 4/8/89 was arrested on gun and drug charges. A 15 yr. old was arrested on possession of stolen property and gun charges. A 17 yr. old was arrested on violation of probation charges. Adrian Fernandez 11/17/86 was arrested on a no bail warrant for possession of stolen property. Richard Peraz 3/29/91 was arrested on conspiracy charges. The two guns the suspects had were possibly stolen in the same burglary in Tracy. The suspects were all from Stockton and stated they were on their North Sac Cops Log | 74    

way to the Fair. OUTSTANDING job by Arden Fair Security!!! 3:36 pm, 1800 block of North Ave, Home Invasion Del Paso Heights 3 suspects knocked on the door and asked for a subject by name. The Asian Victim's didn't not know the person they asked for and attempted to close the door. The suspects forced open the door and pushed one victim to the ground. They demanded money from the victim's. All suspects were armed with a gun. They took numerous items such as a rifle, laptop, video game, camcorder, jewelry etc. Suspect description: 3 male black adults - one described as 25yrs. short hair. 7:48 am, Raley/I-80 area, Domestic Violence Arrest, The suspect assaulted his girlfriend and then fled the area. Officers responded and obtained information he might be in an abandoned house in the area. The K-9 located the suspect in hiding in the closet of the vacant house. Damon Weaver 12/28/89 was arrested for spousal abuse, burglary, false imprisonment, robbery, violating a restraining order, and resisting arrest not to mention a warrant for spousal abuse.

9/5/09 4:16 pm, Del Paso/Railroad, Drug Arrest North Sac Officer Galliano attempted to stop a subject riding a bike on the bike trail. The suspect fled from the officer on his bike and eventually into the nearby bushes. Several Officers, K-9, and the helicopter eventually located the suspect hiding in the bushes. He fought with officers but was ultimately taken into custody. He had about 18 baggies of methamphetamine and a narcotic pipe in his possession. Luis Martinez 1/1/75 was arrested as a parolee at large, drugs, and fighting with officers.

9/4/09 9:52 pm, Grant Football Game Del Paso Heights There were some fights in the stands at the Grant Game at half time. More fights broke out in the 4th quarter and the Twin Rivers Police Department called for cover from our officers. 9 of our officers responded and helped the Twin Rivers Police Department clear out the parking lot after the game. 8:16 am, 2382 Boxwood #7, Parolee Arrests N. Officers McGlinchey and Jarvis went to the above address looking for a parolee at large. They actually located two. Jaimie Flores 8/2/80 and Maurice Powell 2/18/73 were arrested for their parolee warrants. 4:02 am, Del Paso/Fairfield, Drug Arrest N. Sac Graveyard Officers Murawski and Streich stopped a grey Cadillac at the above location. The driver was on parole and was in possession of rock cocaine and a narcotic pipe. Samuel Butler 4/18/53 (lives downtown) was arrested on drug charges and parole violation. The same officers arrested Lajune Austin 11/6/63 at Grand/Clay for a no bail warrant for drugs. 1:54 am, Del paso/Cantalier, Parolee Arrest N. Sac Graveyard Officer Schiele stopped a subject on a bike at the above location. He was on parole for drug related charges. A parole search of his home (2731 Rio Linda) revealed a narcotic pipe. Barry Creamer 6/20/47 was arrested for naroctic paraphernalia and parole violation.

9/3/09 6:15 pm, 2540 Rio Linda, DUI Arrest N. Sac Officer Zamarripa noticed a subject driving a golf cart down the street. She stopped the cart and the driver was DUI. He was arrested on DUI charges. 3:00 pm, 700 block of Belasco, Robbery Richardson Village The suspects pulled up in front of a house and contacted the subjects that live there. They attempted to sell the residents a laptop, but the victim's weren't interested. The suspects left and returned about 15 minutes later. One suspect walked to the back yard and confronted the victim's with a shotgun and demanded all their money. The victim's gave the suspect a very small amount of money and the suspect fled in a car. The car was described as: 4-DOOR, WHITE INFINITY. The suspect was described as MALE BLACK ADULT, 6'0", SKINNY, WHITE T-SHIRT, RED BASEBALL CAP, LONG TWISTIE BRAIDS AND WEARING A LOT OF CHAINS AROUND HIS NECK. The driver of the car was described as MALE BLACK ADULT, 25 YRS. 10:21am, Sully/Pinedale, Pursuit/Arrest Robla Officer Kroupa went to the above location in an attempt to located a subject that was wanted for spousal abuse charges. He noticed a subject drive by in a White Honda Civic that matched the North Sac Cops Log | 76    

description of the suspect. He attempted to pull the car over and the suspect fled in his car. The suspect eventually stopped in front of 5032 Sully after running several stop signs and red lights. He jumped the fence to the home and attempted to jump the rear fence into another yard. The officer caught him and took him into custody. Ger Her 10/13/87 was arrested for his warrant (spousal abuse, threats, battery) and for fleeing from police and resisting arrest. 2:46 am, Balsam/Grand, Drug/Credit Card Arrest N. Sac Officers Streich and Murawski stopped a Brown Chrysler at the above location. The driver was on probation. The passenger had a wallet in his pocket that had a stolen I.D. and bank card from Davis. The driver dropped something on the ground as officers started to search him. Turned out to be rock cocaine. Officers also located more rock cocaine and a pipe under the drivers seat. Willie Reynolds 4/10/59 (lives on Howe Ave) was arrested on drug charges and Ricky Love 2/25/59 (lives in N. Sac) was arrested on possession of stolen property and violation of probation. 1:43 am, 1000 block of Lochbrae, Rape Arrest N. Sac Officers Hanks and Jagur responded to the above location in the alley regarding a suspicious subject. The caller stated there was a suspicious subject in a car in the alley behind this location. This subject turned out to be a Parolee at Large. Officers also noticed his description matched that of a rape suspect from Oak Park they heard about earlier in their shift. A rape occurred in Oak Park on 9/2/09 @ 8:25 pm that this subject matched. Turned out they arrested this suspect for the rape and he is possibly connected to other sexual assaults. The male black adult 32 yrs of age was booked into the jail for his rape charges and his parole violation. Great call by the concerned neighbor regarding suspicious activity!!! 1:14am, 3100 block of High Street, Parolee Arrest Del paso Heights Officers responded on a call of a subject attempting to break into a car in the above area. It turned out the car was the suspects girlfriends car and he wasn't trying to break into the car. But, he was a parolee at large. Matthew Crawford 8/25/76 was arrested for his parole violation. Traffic Enforcement • The traffic team worked the area of Del Paso and Marysville Boulevards. They wrote 35 traffic citations and towed 10 cars. • A couple of traffic officers worked the area of El Camino/Grove. They wrote 7 traffic citations.

9/2/09 11:39 am, 700 block of Sonoma, Burglary/Arrest North Sac Cops Log | 77    

Richardson village Officers responded to the above location regarding a subject possibly breaking into a home. When they arrived they located the suspect running from the back yard to the front of the house. He ran across Altos and was caught by Officer Tennis attempting to jump the fence to 3030 Altos. Officers located numerous items in the suspects pockets (jewelry, cameras and rolls of coins) that were stolen from the victim's home. The suspect entered the house through an unlocked window. The 16 yr. old suspect was arrested on burglary charges. Great call by concerned residents!!! 12:18 am, 2400 Del paso (Shell), Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers were at the location and had just broke up a fight. An unrelated female subject was in the parking lot and appeared intoxicated. She began to yell profanities at people who were walking by. She was on probation and started to cuss at the officers. Officers arrested her for being drunk in public even though she attempted to pull away and was not cooperative with the officers. A search incident to arrest revealed a narcotic pipe and rock cocaine in her pockets. They took her to jail where she proceeded to kick a deputy in the jail. Torree Nelson 7/28/67 was arrested on drug charges and violation of probation.

9/1/09 9:19 pm, 4291 Pell Dr., Car Jacking N. Sac The victim was in her car with her boyfriend at the above location near the recording studio. The suspect told the victim to let him drive her car, but she refused. He ordered her out of the car and took the car. The victim was scared the suspect was going to assault her. Sgt. Hinz arrived on scene and the suspect actually drove by in the car. Sgt. Hinz attempted to catch the suspect but he fled and left the car abandoned behind a nearby warehouse. A search of the area didn't locate the suspect. 10:07 am, Del Paso/Kathleen, Dog Attack Hagginwood Officers responded to a call of two pit bulls that supposedly attacked a child. Officers arrived and were able to corral the dogs in a back yard. Fearing the dogs would escape and possibly attack a child at the Hagginwood Elementary school nearby, officers used fire extinguishers and other means to keep them contained in the yard until Animal Control arrived. Animal Control eventually confiscated the dogs and officers were able to determine the dogs did not maul a child - but did maul some cats.

12:37 pm, 2200 block of Surrey Rd., Burglary Swanston Estates Offices responded to a call regarding a subject possibly burglarizing a home. The suspect attempted to break into one house on the street and was successful in getting into another house through an open window. The suspect was unsuccessful, but attempted to take a tv and computer. The suspect got away prior to officers arrival. He was described as: MALE BLACK, 6'0", THIN, WHITE T-SHIRT AND GREY CAR.

8/30/09 7:22 pm, 2600 Rio Linda (Bonfare Market), Parolee/Burglary tools/Arrest Noralto Officers Bevins and Young stopped a White Pontiac Bonneville as it pulled into the Bonfare parking lot. The passenger was seen by officers throwing something out of the window. When contacted, the passenger denied throwing anything out the window. A witness approached the officers and said the black bag the suspect threw, hit him in his foot in the parking lot. There was a black bag on the ground and a container (with marijuana in it). Inside the bag was over 50 "shaved" keys and a broken spark plug (commonly used for breaking car windows). The passenger was on parole and the driver was on probation and had a suspended drivers license. The driver was cited for suspended license and her car was towed. Lawrence Matthews 8/15/64 was arrested for burglary tools, marijuana, and parole violation. The officers went to the suspects residence (2630 Forrest) and conducted a parole search - nothing illegal was found. 1:30 pm, 1689 Arden (Arden Fair Mall), Theft/Arrest, A suspect took items from the Sephora store in the mall. Mall security alerted the officer that was working at the mall. The officer and security attempted to stop the suspect in front of the mall, but he ran from the officer. He ran across Arden Way - which caused several cars to swerve and was ultimately caught in the parking lot of the Elephant Bar. The officer had to utilize his baton to make the arrest. Lashon Fuller 8/26/67 was arrested for resisting arrest, grand theft and outstanding warrants.

8/29/09 4:30 pm, 800 block of Rood ave, Burglary Robla The suspect forced open the front door to this home and took the t.v. from inside the house. The suspect was described as a MALE WHITE ADULT, 35-40 YRS, 5'11", 200 LBS., BLONDE HAIR, driving a DARK BLUE 4-DOOR, 1990's FORD (or something similar). Previously North Sac Cops Log | 79    

neighbors saw a male white adult possibly casing the neighborhood in a Blue Truck. 8:56 am, 2969 Clay Street, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Harbison and McGlinchy went to the above address to serve warrants. They also had information that this location might be involved in drug activity. The resident open the door and allowed the officers to look for the wanted person. They located a male subject in the back room (not who they were looking for) and also a loaded syringe (loaded with heroin) in the room. they located 3 more packages of heroin, several baggies, 2 scales and a narcotic pipe. Catherine Bernal 10/21/49 was arrested on drug charges. 3:05 am, 200 block of Lindley, Hit and Run Wills Acres Officers were in the area when they heard a loud car crash. A Black SUV rear ended a VW Jetta and the Jetta hit a parked SUV. The black SUV fled the scene - the driver was described as Male Hispanic, fat w/ a bald head, no shirt w/ tattoo's on his chest. Officers located the Black SUV a block away and two subjects ran from the officers. They found them hiding under a car nearby. Neither one of these subjects were the driver, but one had two warrants and was arrested. 1:30 am, Haggin Oaks golf Course (3645 Fulton), Burglary/Arrest 3 off duty Sac PD officers were at the driving range to hit some balls. The alarm to the pro shot went off and they saw a subject running from the building with something in his arms. They chased the suspect and caught him in the parking lot. He dropped the item (camcorder and tripod) and told them to just take it back. They handcuffed him and he was arrested for the burglary. He had broken the glass door and stole the camcorder. Nicholas Heiser 9/25/83 was arrested for burglary - he lives in the Marconi/Howe area. 1:13 am, 3400 block of Norwood, Shooting Strawberry Manor The victim's got into some sort of argument with the possible suspects. The victim's drove home to the above location. The suspects followed them and then fired a gun several times at their residence (no one was hurt). The suspect vehicle is possibly a GOLD CADILLAC ESCALADE and the suspect is a male black adult in his 20's. DUI Checkpoint - Marysville/Harris Officers conducted a DUI checkpoint at the above location on Saturday Night. They had 492 cars pass through the checkpoint, 13 sobriety tests were given, 5 DUI arrests, 55 Citations were written and 40 cars were towed.

10:45 pm, Calvados/Beaumont, Burglary Tools Arrest N. Sac Officers Cox and Pennington contacted a subject walking in the above area. He was on probation for theft charges. A search of his backpack revealed several pliers, screw drivers, wrenches, a flashlight and latex gloves. He couldn't explain why or how those items got into his backpack. He also had a check book in someone else's name. Frank Krug 8/27/70 was cited for possession of burglary tools. 9:40 pm, 3600 block of Pinnell, Stolen Car/Suspicious Subjects E. Del Paso Heights Officers responded to a call regarding two suspicious subjects looking in car windows in the area. They were driving a burnt orange Oldsmobile Cutlass. The neighbors confronted these subjects and told them they had to leave....They went down the street. Officers located both of them near the car and one had latex gloves in his pocket and there was a screw driver in the car. The car turned out to be stolen from Citrus Heights. The 16 yr. old and 14 yr. old suspects were arrested for the stolen car. One lives in the North area and the other lives in the County near Arden/Howe. Great call by observant and alert neighbors!!! 6:05 pm, 3900 block of Mahagony, Assault E. Del Paso Heights Officers received a call of a subject beating his child and threatening the victim's with a knife. The suspect apparently hit his 7 yr. old son with a belt and threatened his roommates with a knife when they confronted him about hitting his child. When officers arrived at the house, the suspect was on his porch smoking a cigarette and talking on the phone. He immediately told officers he can hit his child if he wants. They talked with the son and could see redness and bruising to his face. They also located marijuana, a knife, narcotic pipe inside the house. The suspect had also vandalized the roommates computer. The suspect was arrested for child abuse, vandalism and Assault with a deadly weapon. 5:00 pm, El Camino/Boxwood Drug Arrest, N. Sac Officers Cox and Pennington stopped a subject on a bicycle in the above area. He had a baggie of methamphetamine in his pocket and was on searchable probation for burglary. Larry Zausch 4/26/65 was arrested on drug charges. 3:36 pm, 3400 block of Alvarado, Assault/Arrest Hagginwood Officers received a call of a fight with a gun at the above location. They arrived w/ the assistance of the helicopter and learned the suspect was in the back yard talking on the phone. The suspect had got into a fight with family members inside this house and retrieved a gun and threatened to kill the victim's. The victim's all fled the house and called police. arrested the suspect in the yard without any struggle. Officers arrested Xoau Lee 6/15/76 for Assault with a deadly weapon and threatening the victim's. 1:57 am, Altos/Acacia, Drug Arrest Richardson Village Officers Murawski and Striech were working the above area as a special tactical unit. They contacted a subject that was riding a bicycle near the bike trail. During their contact, he pushed the bike at the officers and ran from them on foot. He ran north on the bike trail and then west in the creek bed - all the time while he was reaching in his waistband area. Officer Murawski caught him in the creek bed. They found some rock cocaine and a narcotic pipe in his pockets. He was also on parole and searchable probation and had a drug warrant. Curtis Jones 6/6/67 was arrested on drug charges, running from officers, parole violation and his drug warrant. 1:28 am, 522 El Camino, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Hawley and Spencer first observed a red Dodge Durango speeding in the area of Rio Linda/Eleanor. They got behind the truck and it turned at Rio Linda/El Camino and ran over the sidewalk. Eventually they got the truck stopped as it pulled into the driveway of 522 El Camino. The driver had a suspended drivers license and 3 pieces of Rock Cocaine in his pocket. Richard Hernandez 7/18/69 was arrested for suspended drivers license and drug charges. 12:49 am, Dixieanne/Evergreen, Warrant Arrest N. Sac Officers Murawski and Striech were working a tactical car in the above area. They contacted two subjects and they both had drug warrants. Clotiel Franklin 3/19/82 and Alonzo Cooper 5/1/63 were both arrested on their warrants.

8/27/09 9:51pm, 364 Redwood, Armed Robbey/Arrests N. Sac A pizza Delivery driver from Dominos Pizza (3290 Northgate) went to deliver pizza to the above location. 3 suspects robbed him at gun point and struck him with the gun. They took several pizza's, his cell phone and money. Officers Eagleton, Kiser, Scurria and Wilson responded and started to do a lot of follow up. Their follow up took them to an apartment complex at 325 Barrett. They located one of the stolen pizza's and a fake gun inside #10. They then went to #7 and found the stolen phone and the phone they used to call in the pizza order. Outside the back window of #7 they also located the rest of the pizza's and the bag the pizza's were in. Deandre Means 9/4/90 and Kelsy Dixon 10/17/90 were both arrested for the robbery. Officers are still conducting follow up regarding the 3rd suspect. One of the suspect's showed up at the hospital North Sac Cops Log | 82    

with a gunshot wound to his hand two weeks ago and told officers he was shot by someone else on Dixieanne. They live in this same area. 11:43 am, Eleanor/Beaumont, Explosive device/Arrest Noralto A subject hailed a Twin Rivers School Police Officer in the above area and told them he found a pipe bomb. Our patrol officers responded and called out our Explosive Ordinance Investigators. They disabled the real pipe bomb and officers were able to determine the pipe bomb was not found and that in fact it was this subjects pipe bomb and he had been attempting to sell it on the street. Christopher Mannor 12/28/67 was arrested for manufacturing/sales of an explosive device. 1:04 am, Marysville/I-80, Stolen Car Del Paso Heights K-9 Officer Thompson ran a license plate on his computer and it came back as a stolen car. He made a U-turn to get behind the car, but the suspect jumped out of the car and fled on foot. Officers set up a perimeter with the assistance of K-9 but the suspect was not located. He was described as a male Hispanic subject with a Grey T-shirt and shorts. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the area of Del Paso Blvd and Marysville Blvd. They wrote 67 traffic citations, gave 3 warnings, and towed 13 cars.

8/26/09 7:37pm, Roanoke/Pinell, Drug Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Officers conducted a traffic stop on a Green Saturn at the above location. The driver was driving on a suspended license and a subsequent search of the suspect revealed rock cocaine in his pocket. Clarence Daniels 3/17/67 was arrested on drug charges. 8:30 am, 00-100 block of Arcade, Suspicious Persons Wills Acres The family of the 7 year old girl called us about this incident at 10:00 pm, but it occurred at 8:30 am. When the 7 yr. old walked out of her home, one of the suspects walked toward her and told her to come to him. She got scared and ran back into her home. The subjects and vehicle they were in has been seen in the area prior to this incident and was acting very suspicious. The van was described as: SILVER OR TAN HONDA ODYSSEY and the suspect's were described as #1 (Driver) MALE HISPANIC ADULT, 30-40 YRS., 5'2", FAINT MUSTACHE, BLUE FLANNEL SHIRT...#2. MALE HISPANIC, 30-40 YEARS, YELLOW SHIRT.

7:58 am, 2224 Beaumont (pre school), Suspicious Subject N. Sac A male adult was seen leering at children in the pre school with his hand in his pants and appeared to be fondling himself. A teacher yelled at him and he fled the area on foot. He has been seen in the area before. He is described as: MALE WHITE ADULT, 50'S, 5'11", GREY/BLACK HAIR, BEARD, GREY CLOTHING, BLACK BAG OR JACKET OVER HIS SHOULDER. 3:48 am, 2400 Del Paso blvd (Shell), Parolee Arrest N. Sac Graveyard Officer Roddy was working the above location due to ongoing issues in this area. He contacted a subject he knew from previous contacts, and it turns out he was a Parolee at Large. Martin Jeffries 3/16/62 was arrested for his parole violation warrant.

8/25/09 11:13 pm, Dixieanne/Cantalier, Arrest N. Sac Graveyard Officers Hastings and Jagur contacted 6 subjects that were loitering in front of 2389 Cantalier. Officers had information that this location is common for drug dealing and the subjects looked young and possibly in violation of the curfew ordinance. They contacted all subjects and one gave them a false name. As they were looking into this subjects identity, he got up and fled from officers on foot. He attempted to jump the wrought iron fence at 670 Dixieanne, but caught his pant leg on the top of the fence. Officers caught him and as they were putting the handcuff's on him - he was yelling gang words at them. Turns out he was a run away from a group home in Oakland and had a no bail warrant. The 17 yr. old was arrested for giving officers a false name and his warrant. 5:39pm, 616 Arcade, Assault/Gun/Arrest Richardson Village Officers responded to the above location to attempt to arrest an assault suspect. The suspect was reported to have gone to his estranged wife's house in the South area and assaulted her. He put a gun to her head and threatened to kill her. Officers located the suspect at this address and located a located a gun inside his car (95 Buick LeSabre - Cream color). 8/24/09 4:31 pm, 600 block of Harris Ave, Burglary/Arrests Del Paso Heights Officers responded to a call about a burglary to the victim's home. The victim was in the process of moving and thought they might know where the suspects were. Officers Young, Maccauley, Lopez, and Marks located the suspects and recovered most of the property. Kathleen Lawson 9/29/72 was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, violation of probation and a drug related warrant. Jesus Hernandez 2/23/79 was arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property. Felicia McCoy 9/17/86 was arretsed for burglary. Warrant Arrests Officers Topaz and Peterson worked a tactical unit that was tasked with locating several subjects with warrants. They located Joseph Dormishev 12/11/85 at 608 Main Ave and arrested him for his Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon warrant and his two traffic warrants. They located Earl Parker 11/11/48 at 3609 May St and arrested him for his $1,000,000 warrant for Aggravated Mayhem and two counts of Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon. They located Bill Caravajales 1/25/83 (Spousal Abuse warrant) and Denard Ingram 12/19/81 (Parolee at Large) at 430 Morey. All subjects were taken to jail. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the N. Sac area and wrote 20 traffic citations and towed 4 cars.

8/23/09 4:38pm, 4300 block of Balsam, Burglary/Arrests Robla Officers responded to a call of 3 subjects breaking into a house. Officers Bevins and Young arrived and saw a Blue Oldsmobile Cutlass leaving the area with 3 subjects that matched the description of the ones breaking into the house. They stopped the car and it turned out to be the same suspects. All 3 were on probation. They had entered the garage of the house after the resident left the house. Deandre Ellison 11/30/90 (lives in S. Natomas) and Derrick Smith 6/3/90 (lives on Arcade) were arrested for burglary and conspiracy. The 15 year old driver of the car (lives in the South Area near Mack/Valley Hi) was arrested for burglary, conspiracy and driving without a license. N. Sac Officers were hailed regarding a hit and run at the above location. The car and driver were located a few blocks away stuck in a field. The victim's in the car he hit were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The suspect was on probation and had a warrant for assault and DUI. Frank McCormick 8/22/70 was arrested for felony DUI, Hit and Run, Violation of probation, suspended drivers license and his two warrants. 1:11 pm, Empress/El Camino, Drug Arrest N. Sac Dayshift Patrol Officers Jarvis and Edmonson worked this day on Del Paso Boulevard on bicycles. They contacted a subject walking in the above area. Officers recognized her from previous contacts and she lied to them about her name. After they ran her real name, they found she had two misdemeanor warrants (for possession of narcotic paraphernalia and lying about her name). They also located a narcotic pip in her pocket that contained methamphetamine. They also located some illegal pills. Amanda Gomes 8/6/88 (lives on Ethan) was arrested for her warrants and drug charges. 8:54 am, Western/El Camino, Parolee Arrest Noralto Officers Duink and Hughes contacted several subjects hanging out at the above location. One subject lied to officers about his name and had brass knuckles. Turned out he was on parole for firearms charges. Marco Zacarias 11/5/86 (lives on Santiago) was arrested for giving false I.D. to police, weapons charges, and parole violation.

8/22/09 11:38 pm, 2300 block of Ethan Wy, Stolen Car/Arrest Swanston Estates K9 Officer Dahl and his partner "Bandit" were patrolling on Marconi. They drove up behind a Toyota 4-runner on Marconi. The officer remembered a stolen vehicle broadcast that was put out on the radio a few minutes earlier about a 4-runner that was just stolen from Ethan Wy. He confirmed the 4-runner in front of him was the same - and it was. The suspect fled in the 4runner from the officer and the pursuit went down numerous streets (presidio, verano etc.) and eventually stopped in the alley behind 1990 Grand Ave. The suspect ran from the 4-runner, but "Bandit" caught him before he got far. Officers caught up to the suspect and eventually got him into handcuffs. One of the officers hit her head on the ground during the struggle (causing a concussion - but she will be ok) The suspect was on probation for stealing cars. Justin Materio 12/5/84 (lives in Citrus Heights) was arrested for the stolen car, fleeing from police, resisting arrest that resulted in an injury to an officer, and violation of probation. 10:38 pm, 4000 Norwood (AM/PM), Stolen Car/Arrest North Sac Cops Log | 86    

Robla Officer Bevins saw a yellow Mercedes Benz pull out of the AM/PM with another subject running after it waving his arms. Officer Bevins stopped the car and it turned out the driver just stole the car from the parking lot of the AM/PM. The victim parked his car in the parking lot with the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition as he went into the store. The suspect jumped in and was driving off when the officer first saw him. Deangelo Jackson 5/28/91 was arrested for stealing the car. 7:40 pm, Eleanor/Fairfield, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers Galliano and Cox were working along the bike trail due to recent crimes in the area. They contacted a subject at the above location and she was holding a piece of "rock" in her hand. She also had a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and a narcotic pipe in her wallet. Paulette McCullough 8/3/59 (lives on Oakmont) was arrested on drug charges, violation of probation and her drug warrant. 6:34 pm, 3845 Marysville (Rainbow Market), Hit & Run/DUI/Arrest Del Paso Heights A primer black Ford Mustang crashed into the side of Rainbow market and then left the area without stopping. Officers located the car and suspect at 439 W. Silver Eagle. The driver was DUI. James Butler 1/26/91 was arrested for not having a drivers license, DUI and Hit and Run. 12:26pm, 900 Sonoma, Gun Arrest Hagginwood Officer McClinchey contacted a subject in front of his house to conduct a probation search. Officers located a sandwich baggie of methamphetamine, several empty baggies, a scale, and stun gun inside the house. They also located a fully loaded shotgun that was reported stolen. There were also several shotgun rounds in the house along with a real looking pellet gun. George Cooper 3/7/90 was arrested on gun charges, drug charges and possession of stolen property. 1:37 am, 4000 Norwood Ave (AM/PM), Assault Robla Officers responded to the AM/PM regarding an assault with a possible gun being fired. The caller gave descriptions of the victim and suspect vehicles. Everyone was gone when officers arrived, but another officer located the victim in their car in the area. They had several facial injuries and had obviously been in a fight - but they eventually didn't want much done. The suspect car was registered to an address in Woodland and officers were assisted by Woodland PD - who located the car, but not the right suspects. 8/21/09 9:17pm, 1101 Exposition Blvd (Starbucks), Assault/Arrest Point West Victim and her boyfriend went to the concert at the Radisson Hotel. They got into an argument and the suspect pushed the victim. The suspect also scratched the victim's car that was parked in the parking lot. The victim called police and the officers ultimately located the suspect hiding behind a car in the parking lot of Starbucks. He ran from officers when they found him, but they caught him in front of REI. Thomas Villegas 5/24/70 (lives in Dixon) was arrested for assault and vandalism. 8:56 pm, Clay/Sonoma, Drug/Weapons Arrest Hagginwood Officers Galliano and Macauley stopped a subject riding his bike at the above location. He immediately reached into his pocket and officers ordered him to take his hands out of his pocket for their own safety. He told the officers to hold on...so the officers grabbed his hand and pulled it out of his pocket themselves. In his pocket was a knife, brass knuckles and a couple of baggies of methamphetamine. Pault Mayhew 9/12/86 (lives on Sonoma) was arrested on drug charges and illegal weapons charges. 5:44 pm, Rio Linda/Eleanor, Drug Arrest Noralto Officers Galliano and Macauley contacted a subject at the above location. As the contacted him, he threw a baggies of methamphetamine behind a car. Corey Hansen 11/3/87 was arrested on drug charges. 4:22pm, 1300 Harris Ave, Cock Fighting Del Paso Heights Officers responded to a call of a group of subjects watching a cock fight. When they arrived they found 7 subjects in the garage, a cock fighting ring, a chicken in the garage missing feathers with several scratches. On the side of the house there was a 5 gallon bucket with blood in it (supposedly from the injured animals). There were more chickens in the back yard and animal control was called out. Xiong Vang 2/10/87 and a 15 yr. old were cited for cock fighting. State Fair Numerous Officers were assigned to the first day of the State Fair due to issues in the past. Lt. Cara Westin was the Incident Commander for the evening and nothing major occurred. CHP helped out with the game plan and numerous citations were issued. 8/20/2009 11:30 pm, Grand/Rio Linda, Stabbing Del Paso Heights The 17 yr old victim showed up at Mercy San Juan with multiple stab wounds. He stated he was approached at the above location by 4-5 subjects who called him out to fight. The victim stated he started fighting with one subject when a second subject came up behind him and stabbed him. He described the suspects as male black adults, 30's, all with dread locks. 6:51 pm, Northgate/I-80, Reckless Driving/Arrest Northgate/Gardenland The CHP airplane called officers about 3 motorcycles reckless driving and doing wheelies on I80. Officers got two of the motorcycles stopped but the 3rd one took off from the officers. The plane located the 3rd motorcycle attempting to hide on Arbor Crest (Main Ave/Levee area). Officers were directed in and caught the suspect. The first two were cited for reckless driving and the 3rd was arrested for fleeing from officers and his bike was towed. 5:40 pm, 1200 block of South ave, Deceased child Del paso Heights Officers responded to the above location regarding a 2 yr. old child that was deceased. The coroners office is investigating the incident and determining the cause of death. Homicide was called in due to the suspicious nature of the child's death (unknown what caused the death). The father was ultimately arrested for Felony endangerment of a child. This is still under investigation. ****UPDATE**** Last week this was on the Email Update. A 2 yr. old child was taken to the hospital and was pronounced deceased. The father of the child was arrested for felony child endangerment at that time. The coroner's office completed their investigation and determined the child died from blunt force trauma to the head (ie hitting). The father and mother were then arrested for homicide. 3:01 pm, 3271 Marysville (Hagginwood Park), Gun Arrest Hagginwood Officer Sabra went to contact a subject walking in the park. The subject fled from the officer on foot. The subject threw a small bag as he was running from the officer. Officer Rafiq responded to assist and caught the suspect after he jumped a fence. 8/19/09 11:13pm, 2001 Point West (Double tree Hotel), Robbery Point West The victim was in her car in the parking lot of the double tree. The suspect opened the door holding a gun and demanded money. The victim gave him some money and he fled on foot. He ran to a car and left East on Arden Way. The suspect was described as MALE BLACK ADULT WITH A BROWN BEANIE AND GREEN JACKET. The car was described as a GOLD ACURA WITH NO FRONT BUMPER. ****UPDATE**** Last week this armed robbery was on the Email Update. The victim was checking into the Double Tree hotel and went to her car with her nephew to get some belongings. The suspect approached with a gun and demanded money. The suspect took money and fled in a GOLD ACURA that was missing it's FRONT BUMPER. There was also a woman in the passenger seat. On 8/21/09 @ 11:05 pm, at Roy Neilson Park (Center Parkway/Tangerine) in the South area, we received a call from a woman who said a man was threatening her. The man happened to be driving a GOLD ACURA with a missing FRONT BUMPER. Officers went to the suspect's house (7366 Patero Circle - Florin/Franklin area) and located the suspect near his acura. Officers located a fake (real looking) gun in the bushes of the neighbors house (apparently that is where the suspect keeps the gun so he won't get caught with it). This suspect was responsible for the robbery at the Double Tree and possibly several more in the County. Officers also located some property that was possibly taken in some of the robberies. The suspect was on federal parole for weapons violations. Edmond Burch 7/3/76 was arrested for robbery, possession of stolen property and conspiracy (investigation into the County robberies is still ongoing). Courtney Thomas 1/30/90 was arrested for robbery, conspiracy and violation of probation. 12:40 am, 3600 block of Ripley, Assault/Robbery Hagginwood The victim went to a friends house (above location) and told them he had been beaten and robbed. The victim had a large cut on the side of his head. The victim is homeless and stays at a nearby homeless camp. Officers went to the camp and located the victim's bike and mattress which he stated were stolen during the robbery. The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the areas of Del Paso Blvd and Rio Linda Blvd. They wrote 54 traffic citations and towed 8 cars.

Del Paso Blvd POP Officers Fong and Canepa worked on Del Paso Blvd on bicycles. They contacted several people and wrote a couple of citations. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked Del paso blvd between Arden and Grand. They wrote 32 traffic citations, gave 1 warning, and towed 3 cars.

8/18/09 8:00pm, Cathcart, Burglary/Vandalism/Assault Strawberry Manor The victim came home and notice her front door open. Officer checked the inside of her house and it had been severally vandalized. He estranged boyfriend and assaulted her earlier also. At around 8:13 pm, Officer McMahan stopped a car matching the suspect description at Arena/Gateway Oaks in N. Natomas. One subject fled from the car but they caught the driver. The driver turned out to be the estranged boyfriend and he was arrested for the assault. Willie Jones 3/19/88 was arrested for the assault. 6:10 pm, 2395 Boxwood, Parolee Arrests N. Sac Officers Marks, Lopez and Trefethen went to the above address to attempt to locate 2 parolee's at large. They located both of them. Bambi Harris 1/15/79 and Kevin Head 10/2/82 were both arrested for their parole violations 5:12 pm, Oakmont/Bowles, Parolee Arrests Noralto Officers contacted a couple of subjects loitering at the above location. Two subjects were wanted for parole violations. Steven Rogers 1/3/52 and Charles Dykes 11/19/50 were both arrested for their parole violations. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the area of Del paso Rd between Arden and Grand Ave. They wrote 67 traffic citations, gave 3 warnings, towed 17 cars and made one drug arrest.

The victim and 2 friends went to the Quick Stop and bought some items. They noticed a car back into a stall on the side of the store. As they were leaving, the driver got out and pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his bicycle. The victim's refused and rode off down the street. The suspects left in their car East on Lost Robles. The car was described as a grey 4-door - possibly a Geo Prism. The suspects were described as #1 male black adult, 20's, medium build, short hair with a white t-shirt. #2. male black adult, 20's, dark complexion, and dread locks, wearing a red t-shirt. 1:00 am, 2400 Del Paso Rd (Shell), Robbery/Assault N. Sac The victim stated he was at the gas pumps getting gas when he was pulled out of his car by 2 suspects. They beat him about his head and face and took his wallet - they fled on foot. The victim was contacted by officers at the hospital and was missing several teeth and possibly had a broken jaw. The suspects were described as two male Black adults, mid 30's, 5'8" to 6', 200 lbs.    

8/16/09 8:37 am, 3183 Kinnaird Wy, Fight Strawberry Manor Officers responded to a call of a fight with subjects lying in the street. When officers arrived they located 2 subjects in the street - one was still unconscious. They had major facial injuries one couldn't open his eye's because they were swollen shut. They were both transported to the hospital. Apparently the victim's got into some sort of argument with 2 "Samoan" suspects and got beat up. A person on Sconce Ct. gave a ride to one of the suspects out of the area prior to officers arrival. The suspects were described as #1 Male Samoan, 17-19 yrs, 5'6", 140 lbs, black hat and black shirt, #2. Male Samoan, 5'11", skinny, no shirt and tattoo's on chest. There was a party the night before next door and these subjects might have come from there. The victim's were transported to the hospital and the suspects were never located.     

8/15/09 5:37 pm, 799 Las Palmas, Pursuit Richardson Village Twin Rivers PD responded to an alarm call at one of their school sites. The suspects fled in a red Acura and were chased by Twin Rivers PD. They ended up crashing into the yard of 799 Las Palmas and fled on foot. Twin Rivers and our officers searched for the suspects but they got away. 3:30 pm, 300 block of Mobley, Home Invasion Oak Knoll North Sac Cops Log | 92    

The victim answered their door and 3-4 suspects entered the home at gunpoint. They held the family while they ransacked the home. They took wallets and cell phones and left the home. They were possibly driving a white late model Lexus. They were described as 3-4 Male Asian adults, early to mid 20's. 2:17 am, 2140 Grand Ave (Four Oaks), Burglary/Arrest E. Del Paso Heights Officers responded to a call of a couple of subjects attempted to break into the back door of the liquor store. The suspects fled just prior to officers arrival. The officers set up a perimeter and soon heard noises when the suspects began to jump fences. The suspects attempted to get a resident on Schutt Wy to let them in his back door - but he refused. K-9, Officer Hawley, and Officer Yonemura located two suspects when the surrendered after hearing the announcement that K-9 was about to search for them. They located a 3rd suspect hiding under a couch at the same location. The 16, 16 and 15 yr. old suspects were all arrested and taken to juvenile hall. They pried off the metal screen door to the liquor store but didn't get all the way inside the actual door. 2:00 am, 700 block of Hayes, Shooting N. Sac Two Male Asian (Hmong) subjects knocked on the door of the above location. One of the residents answered the door and they stated their were looking for her brother. Her brother wasn't home and she told them that. They stayed on the porch for about 5 minutes and then left. About 10 minutes later, numerous gun shots were heard in the immediate area. The residents looked outside but couldn't see anything. When the awoke in the morning they noticed their home had been shot. Over 20 rounds were fired. Bullets hit 3 cars in front of the home and several hit around the front door of the home. The subjects that knocked on the door were described as #1. male Hmong, 5'6", 120 lbs, 18-20 yrs, black t-shirt and jeans. #2. male Hmong, 5'3", 120 lbs, 17-18 yrs, black t-shirt, and black pants.  

8/14/09 10:26 pm, 3626 Belden, Fight/Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers responded to a call of a fight in front of this location. When officers arrived, they located two subjects standing near an SUV in front of Mama Marks Park. One subject immediately pointed at the 2nd subject and stated "thats the guy". The 2nd guy immediately began to run from the area. He jumped the fence of 3630 Belden. Officer Young chased after him and caught him as he was jumping the 2nd fence. The suspect turned on the officer and took a fighting stance. He began to advance on the officer and refused to get on the ground. The officers attempted to arrest him by using his baton but it was unsuccessful. The 2nd officer arrived and attempted to do the same thing, but the suspect grabbed the baton and attempted to take it from him. The suspect then took off running again. were able to get him in custody. The original fight call was possibly an argument over a car. Robert Chavez 8/15/70 was arrested for resisting officers, attempting to disarm and officer and violation of probation. 12:27 am, Belden/Alamos, Weapons Arrest Hagginwood Officers Scurria and Wilson contacted a subject that was walking in the middle of the street. A search revealed a large kitchen knife in his back pocket and a locked open folding knife also. He also had 5 misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. Roti Powell 3/31/85 was arrested on illegal weapons charges, his warrants and violation of probation. 12:24 am, Vern/Grand, Burglary Tools/Arrest Del paso Heights Officer Hastings stopped a white Oldsmobile with 4 occupants. One subject was found to be in possession of numerous "shaved" keys commonly used for breaking into cars. Kambarage Mayhand 5/18/74 was arrested for possession of burglary tools. 4:50 am, Harris/Vern, Stolen Car/Arrest Del paso Heights Graveyard Officers Streich and Muarawski stopped a car that turned out to be stolen out of Citrus Heights. Walter Isaac 12/1/76 was arrested for the stolen car, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and a DUI warrant. 3:41 am, Marysville/North Ave, DUI/Warrant/Arrest Del Paso Heights Graveyard officer Schiele stopped a car that was occupied by several people. She arrested the driver for DUI and one of the passengers had a no bail warrant for battery - he was arrested also. 1:40 am, Dixieanne/Cantalier, Curfew/Parolee N Sac Graveyard Officers Streich and Murawski contacted a juvenile at the above location that stated he was just enjoying the scenery. He was 17 and cited for curfew violation (he lives in the south area). While on this stop, officers also arrested a parolee at large (Miaya Dinkins 10-18-71) and booked her into jail. 12:33 am, Grand/Astoria, Gun Arrest E. Sac Graveyard Officers Streich and Murawski stopped a subject at the above location. They located Methamphetamine on the subject and he was arrested. Daniel McBride 12/28/81 was arrested on drug charges.    

8/13/09 7:52 pm, 2200 block of Downar Wy, Traffic Collision E. Del Paso Heights A 9 yr. old was struck by a car - throwing the child into the windshield. The child was transported to the hospital and is expected to be ok. 5:26 pm, 2678 Rio Linda Blvd, Assault/Arrest Hagginwood The victim's and suspects have been fighting for a couple of days. On the above date and time, the suspects went to the victim's door and the fight began again. There were bats, shovels, golf clubs and a crow bar involved. One of the victim's was also cut with a knife. Officers were able to eventually located 2 suspects (15 & 17 yrs old) and they were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, threats and street gang violence. 10:49 am, Strawberry Manor Area, "Bait" equipment arrest Due to recent burglaries, we placed a vehicle with some equipment in it in the Strawberry Manor neighborhood. Someone took the equipment yesterday. An SSD deputy located the equipment in a car that was driving at San Juan/Northgate (Big Lots). She followed the car back to Strawberry Manor where it stopped at 124 Cathcart. Our Police Officers arrived and detained all three occupants of the car. The equipment was retrieved from the car also. Xander Simpson 7/19/90 (lives on Barton and on probation with priors for burglary), James Thomas 6/26/88 (lives on Gillespie), and a 17 yr. old (lives in Strawberry Manor) were all arrested for grand theft and possession of stolen property. 10:30 am, 3525 Norwood Ave (Robertson Center) Armed Robbery The victim went to the robertson center to give some money for the purchase of a car. The woman that was supposed to receive the money pulled into the parking lot. At the same time a black lexus pulled in right behind her. Two suspects got out of the Lexus went passed the woman and robbed the victim of his speakers in his car. They had a gun and hit the victim North Sac Cops Log | 95    

during the robbery. They fled in the LATE 80's TO 90's LEXUS W/ GOLD TRIM north on Norwood. The suspects were described as #1. MALE BLACK ADULT, 20's, WHITE SHIRT W/ DREAD LOCKS, #2. MALE BLACK ADULT, RED HOODED JACKET AND SHORTS.

6:19 pm, 3330 Rio Linda, Parolee Hagginwood A parole agent went to the above location to visit one of his parolees. The parolee armed himself with a knife and then fled from the parole agent through the bathroom window. Officers and K-9 responded and set up a perimeter and searched the area but didn't locate the suspect. Thong Bounravang 5/12/82 is now wanted on a parole violation.  

1:20 am, South/Osmer, Parolee Arrest Del Paso Heights Graveyard officers Murawski and Streich located a parolee at large they had been looking for at the above location. Rory Burleson 12/16/60 was arrested for his parole violation.

11:54 pm, Arden/Cambridge, DUI/Arrest N. Sac We received a call regarding a drunk driver swerving on the road at Truxel/San Juan. The caller followed the car until Officer Hanson caught up to it at Arden/Cambridge - he was driving a Nissan 280 ZX. Micah Brumfield 12/29/75 was arrested for DUI and for his suspended drivers license - his car was also towed. 10:22 pm, 2260 Mogan Ave, Stolen Cars/Arrest E. Del Paso Heights K-9 Sgt. Oliviera received a Lo Jack activation that a car was stolen in the area. He located the stolen 2006 Dodge Truck in the back yard of the above location. They truck had its fenders, headlights and grill already removed. It had the fenders of an old Chevy truck placed on it from a truck that was also in the back yard. Officers also located a Hummer with doors from a stolen Hummer. They also located 2 Ford Pick Up doors that were from a stolen truck. Neighbors called in at 10:00 am regarding two subjects knocking on doors at Hunters Cr/Rio Linda. Some more neighbors called in at 11:08 am saying some subjects were casing houses on Regis Ct. Officers located two subjects matching the desription at Dry Dock/Main. when Officer Mcgovern went to contact them , they ran from him. They were dropping property as they ran - one had a laptop case and camera in his hand. One was caught quickly and the other was eventually caught after he ran into the field. The first one yelled to the officer as he was being caught -"im going to college". Turns out the subject burlgarized a home in the 4800 block of Dry Dock. They knocked on the door, and when no one answered they broke into a side window. They also attempted to burglarize a home in the 4800 block of Taylor. They did the same thing at this home but fled after they broke the window because the alarm went off. It appears they attempted to break into several homes on Regis Ct. also because numerous trash cans had been moved and had their lids caved in with foot prints on them. Kenneth Graham 1/5/91 (lives on Cypress) was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, resisting officers, attempted burglary, and conspiracy. His 16 yr. old partner was arrested on the same charges and also lives in the North area. Great job by neighbors calling the police when they saw this suspicious activity. One neighbor even talked with the subjects asking them what they were doing as they walked through the neighborhood.....Mark one down for the GREAT NEIGHBORS that kept their neighbors from becoming victims - they all got their property back!!!! 3:05 am, 2700 block of Branch, Assault Hagginwood The victim and suspect have an ongoing argument over money. They got into an argument on the above date and time and the suspect hit the victim with a bat. Keith Brewer 6/30/82 was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and his 3 warrants. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the area of Del Paso/Marysville Blvd. They wrote 39 traffic citations, towed 8 cars, and made 3 misdemeanor drug arrests and 1 felony drug arrest/probation violation. The second traffic team worked the Del Paso Blvd area. They had 50 traffic citations, gave 3 warnings, and towed 2 cars. The 3rd motor team conducted a pedestrian crosswalk operation in N. Sac and the East Area. They worked the crosswalk area of Marysville/Roanoke and two other locations in the East area. They wrote 57 citations for not yielding to pedestrians, 2 citations for jaywalking, 5 towed cars.

10:11 pm, Cypress/Roanoke, Drug Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers Streich and Murawski contacted a subject at the above location. He was on probation and a search revealed rock cocaine in his mouth. He told officers he had found it on the ground and put it in his mouth but didn't know what it was. Darnell Washington 8/15/68 was arrested on drug charges and a warrant. 9:00 pm, 1601 Eldridge, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Harshbarger and Chargin attempted to contact a subject that was walking at Del Paso/Sonoma. He ran from the officers and continually reached into one of his pockets as he ran. He threw a sandwich bag over the fence at 1601 Eldridge. Officer caught him shortly after he threw the bag. The located the bag with contained rock cocaine. Marquiz Feagin 4/9/76 was arrested on drug charges and parole violation.

12:01pm, Del Paso Blvd/Darina, Arrest N. Sac Officer Kroupa observed two subjects walk into the front of the apartment complex at 714 Darina. He then noticed them immediately walk out the back gate. When he went to talk with them, they ran from him. He was able to catch one of them in the alley behind 2201 Del paso but the other one got away. Other officers eventually arrested the 2nd suspect as he was attempting to hide in Sammy's Restaurant. Both subjects had no bail drug warrants and were also arrested for resisting an officer. Jaquan Johnson 5/17/76 and Leon McMillian 1/11/79 were both booked into the jail. 10:27 am, Del paso blvd/Plaza, Drug Arrest Officer Sabra contacted a subject on a bicycle at the above location. He located a baggie of methamphetamine in his pocket, syringes and an empty baggie in his backpack. Kenneth Hamlin 12/30/66 was arrested on drug charges. 9:21 am, 714 Darina, Drug Arrest N. Sac Dayshift Patrol Officers Edmonson and Jarvis were working on Del paso blvd on bicycles. They noticed two subjects in the laundry room of the above location. One they knew to be on parole for drugs. They contacted the subjects and located a container on one that contained 3 illegal methadon pills. He had his red Chevy parked to the rear of the complex also. Dion Hartsfield 3/25/80 was arrested on drug charges.

8:00 am, 3100 block of Altos, Home Invasion Richardson Village Two suspects pushed their way into the victim's home and demanded drugs. One was armed with a sawed off shotgun. After confronting the victim, the suspects asked for a subject by name that didn't live there. The suspects appeared to have entered the wrong house and left. Later, the victim realized the suspects took a purse out of the home and called police. The suspects were described as Male white adult, 25 yrs., 5'8", heavy, red shirt and black pants. #2 male black adult, thin, long white coat, black Orlando Magic hat. Traffic Enforcement North POP Officers Fong and Canepa worked Del Paso Blvd on bicycles.    

8/7/09 1:03 pm, 1481 Exposition Blvd (Palms Apts), Gun Point West Management called police regarding an AK-47 that was found in an apartment. There were several apartments that were rented under a fictitious company and management located the gun in one of these apartments. Officers responded and confiscated the illegal assault rifle and did some follow up in the other apartments as well. Officers located numerous credit cards and loaded magazines for the gun. Follow up will continue on this case. 11:14pm, Del Paso/Arcade, Stolen Car/Arrest Hagginwood Grave Yard Officer Murchie observed a Toyota Corolla at Del Paso/Arcade. It was a stolen car taken from North Highlands on 8/7/09. The car pulled into the driveway of 3159 Pendleton and the driver was arrested. The driver was on probation for a stolen car and was also intoxicated. Bobby Joe Miller 10/30/81 (lives on Auburn blvd) was arrested for the stolen car, violation of probation and DUI. POP Officers The North POP team conducted a prostitution operation along Del paso blvd. They arrested 3 subjects for prostitution related charges.

9:49 pm, Altos/Harris, Pursuit Del Paso Heights Officer Surjan made a traffic stop at the above location. He got out of his squad car and the suspect car sped off at a high rate of speed. Officers Surjan jumped back into his car and chased after the suspect. He located the car after it went around the corner and crashed into a chain link fence. The driver had already fled on foot and got away. He left some property in the car that helped officers identify him. He is a parolee at large and officers will continue to search for him in the coming days. 7:44pm, 2563 Altos Ave, Hit and run collision Noralto A blue ford taurus was reckless driving at the above location and hit a parked car. The Taurus flipped upside down and the driver fled on foot. The driver was located down the street. He was taken to the hospital for his minor injuries - charges are pending. Traffic Enforcement POP Officer John Banks worked the area of Exposition/Arden and wrote 5 traffic citations.

8/5/09 6:53 pm, Del Paso/El Camino, Kidnapping/Arrest N. Sac Officer Smith was hailed by a woman who appeared to have been arguing with a car that left the area. It turns out that the woman had been kidnapped along with her rommate by her roomates ex-boyfriend. The female roomate was still in the car that left the area as Officer Smith pulled up. Officer smith could not locate the car in the area. After extensive follow up, officers were able to located the car, suspect and victim in the area of Franklin/Florin. The suspect had kidnapped both women from a location in the county. Jeffrey Fahlgren 7/27/80 was arrested for kidnapping, car jacking, spousal abuse and parole violation. 6:03 pm, Del paso/Dixieanne, Drug Arrest N. Sac POP Officers Fong and Canepa were working the area on bicycles. They stopped a subject that was riding a bicycle in the above area. He had drug related text messages on his phone. He was on parole and they went to his house (2644 Beaumont) to conduct a parole search. They located methamphetamine in two different locations in the house along with 2 syringes hidden in a shaving cream bottle. N. Sac The DJ of the bar claimed he had been robbed by two subjects during the night - they took his jewelry, wallet and money. No one else in the bar saw anything and he waited before he called so there not any other customers around that could have been witnesses. He described the suspects as male black, tall with a stripped shirt and a male black short with braids.

8/4/09 8:02 pm, Western/Olmstead, Traffic Collision Strawberry Manor An 8 yr. old girl was struck by a car as she was coming back across the street from buying an ice cream. The young girl had significant injuries but is expected to survive. 3:48 pm, Norwood/Jessie, Drug Arrest Robla Officers Topaz and Peterson observed a Silver Lincoln pull out of the AM/PM and cut off oncoming traffic. The car went down Jessie at a high rate of speed and turned into the subway parking lot. Officers stopped the car and as officers approached the subject immediately stated officers used a racial slur with him. The car smelled strongly of marijuana. Officers located a thermos bottle full of marijuana, a scale and a coffee can with marijuana. They also found money. Andre Anderson 5/9/78 was arrested on drug charges - he lives in the Auburn/Watt area and also had a suspended drivers license. 5:15 am, Traffic Accident Bell Strauss A pedestrian was struck by a car at the above location and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. 1:51 am, Del Paso blvd (Sunland Liquor), Robbery N. Sac Two male black adults entered the store and attempted to steal some beer. The employee stopped them and the suspects punched him. They left the beer, but threw a newspaper rack through the window as they left. 1:34 am, Jefferson/levee, /Parolee/Pursuit/Arrest, Del Paso Heights Graveyard Officer Roddy saw a subject driving a black Kia recklessly at Grand/Norwood. The car ran several stop signs and eventually went west on El Camino. The suspect pulled over right after crossing the bridge. car. He then turned onto American and East on Jefferson to the Levee dead end. The suspect jumped out of his car and fled from the officer on foot. He jumped a couple of fences and into the back yard of 240 Harding. A dog ran at the suspect and he jumped another fence into the apartment complex. Officer Yonemura recognized the car and knew of a subject he previously had contact with that matched the description. He located the suspect hiding under the bed of his girlfriends house (264 Harding). Danny Materio 9/10/83 was arrested for evading officers and parole violation. Traffic Enforcement The traffic team worked the areas of Ford/Altos, Arden/Challenge, and Cypress/Rivera. They wrote 29 citations, towed 8 cars and made felony arrest for drug possession.

8/3/09 7:00 pm, 3211 Pamela Dr, Drug Arrest Hagginwood Officers Galliano and MaCaulay went to the above address due to possibly drug activity. They went to conduct a parole search. They located a narcotic pipe and cocaine in the living room of the home. The suspect also had a no bail warrant for drug charges. Reginald Howard 2/16/65 was arrested on drug charges. 2:24 am, May/Roanoke, Drug Arrest Del Paso Heights Officers Spencer and Hawley stopped a blue GMC Safari with several subjects inside. During the stop, one of the passengers stated she was on probation for possession of narcotic paraphernalia and currently had some paraphernalia on her. She had a narcotic pipe in her pocket. Officers located a piece of rock cocaine on the floor also. They arrested two subjects for drugs and one had warrants. On the way to the jail, one suspect told the officers she had rocks hidden inside of her. They got to the jail and located 4 pieces of rock cocaine hidden inside her. Delores Starks 9/9/63 (lives on North Ave) was arrested on drug charges and warrants. Marcelina Johnson 2/6/70 (lives on Mahogany) was arrested on drug charges.

8/1/09 11:57 pm, 1443 Arcade (Speedy Wash), Burglary/Arrest, Hagginwood Officers were called to the above location regarding two subjects attempting to break into washing machine coin boxes with a screw driver. drivers. Pathom Ketphanah 4/7/74 was arrested for warrants, burglary, attempted theft, and possession of burglary tools. 10:14 pm, 1822 Del Paso Blvd (Nighthawk Bar), Gun Arrest N. Sac POP Officers Fong & Canepa were riding their bikes on the boulevard. They observed a subject drinking out of a paper bag in front of the bar. The subject put the beer down as soon as he saw the officers and attempted to walk into the bar. Officers searched the back pack and located baggies, a scale, cell phone, ammunition, and a loaded gun. The subject initially lied to officers about his real name. He actually had warrants for his arrest out of Sac County, Solono county, and Mendocino County. Derrick Claxton (lives in Fairfield) 6/1/83 was arrested on gun charges, and the illegal possession of ammunition. 9:30 pm, 1913 Del Paso blvd, Theft/Arrest N. Sac Carol's Books was having an appreciation dinner. The suspect entered the store and told the owner he had been invited. After eating a meal, he wandered around the store and ultimately stole a cell phone from the counter. He was observed later standing in front of Sunland Liquor and the victim hailed officers while they were on the Nighthawk call. They contacted the subject and he did have the victim's cell phone – he stated he just bought it off the street. Bart Evans 8/15/73 (on parole for burglary) was arrested for possession of stolen property and parole violation. 6:04 pm, Del Paso blvd/Railroad, Drug Arrest N. Sac Officers Galliano and Cox stopped a subject on the bike trail who was on probation. He had a plastic baggie in his pocket and he told officers it was "meth.". Officers located methamphetamine in his pocket. Wesley Rodrigue 8/5/79 was arrested on drug charges. Prostitution Operation on Del Paso blvd - week of 7/31/09 The North POP team conducted a prostitution operation on the boulevard. They arrested 5 subjects for prostitution related charges - including a 15 yr. old missing person. They also arrested a suspected pimp for drug sales at Boxwood/Dixieanne. 8/1/09 • POP Officers Fong and Canepa worked Del Paso Boulevard on Bicycles • Dayshift Officers Edmonson and Kroupa worked Del Paso Boulevard on foot. They issue a couple of citations, helped a couple of kids find their way home and performed several contacts with the business owners. Traffic Enforcement

7/31/09 - The traffic team worked the area of Del Paso Boulevard. They wrote 33 traffic citations, gave 1 warning, and towed 2 cars. They also stopped a subject that was probation at El Camino/Evergreen. He had marijuana and methamphetamine in his pocket and over 10 ecstacy pills in his car. Anthony Thomas 2/22/73 was arrested on drug charges and violation of probation.
