Dear Potential Sponsor/Donor, In 2005 the North American Lithuanian Volleyball club (NALVC) was formed with the mission to reinvigorate and maintain our proud North American Lithuanian volleyball tradition through enhanced communication, competition, and education. As the volleyball affiliate of the Lithuanian Athletic Union of North America, commonly known as SALFASS, we are responsible for supporting and assisting all volleyball related activities in the Lithuanian American community. We are writing to ask for your financial support in the form of sponsorship or donation so that our organization can work efficiently to achieve our goals. This year, with the celebration of Lithuania’s 1000 years of existence, Lithuania will be hosting a week of festivals, including ones intended to celebrate song, dance and sports. We are currently looking to help fund a team to participate in both the indoor and outdoor volleyball tournaments. The team will be made up of players from Boston , Chicago , and Los Angeles . The team will be called NALVC-LA Banga. In order to ensure participation, we will need to generate between $7000.00 and $10,000.00. And as the sports festival takes place at the end of June, time is of the absolute essence. Should your organization be able to assist us in this endeavor, please also include any business information that you would like to supply (i.e. logos for our Sponsor banner and web site, link to web site, etc.) We will be making either a sponsor banner or t-shirt. We will also be sending out email blasts and thank you letters to all of the local Lithuanian Communities asking them to support our sponsors. We are open to other suggestions or ideas as well. Checks can be made out to either NALVC or LA Banga Volleyball and mailed to Gintautas Garsys at the above address in the letterhead.
