Title Description

: Automated Weather Station : Built a system capable of accurately and automatically, monitoring and recording

meteorological variables (wind speed, temperature and rainfall) over an extended period of time. These conditions are sampled onboard a remote weather station at regular time intervals and sent back via a serial link to a host computer. A MySQL database exists where the ‘raw’ data is placed once sampled. Various interfaces: An LCD and keypad interface on remote weather station, GUI on the host computer and a web interface exists through the use of PHP scripts where graphs, plots, charts, tables and summaries are dynamically created for the variety of different time periods that can be queried.
