1984 Week 5 HFL Power Rankings - Well if we have learned anything in the 3 weeks of power rankings its that the ranking award great performances and bye weeks can boost your rank. The Ravens week off cost them the top spot, but not because they are any worse, but because the San Diego Super Chargers throttled the Dolphins. The Jaguars and Panthers also picked up victories that allowed them to leap frog the idle Lions. The rankings between the #4 Panthers and the #12 Vikings are so tight that we expect there to be a lot of movement among these teams in the next few weeks. (the strength of ranking is determined by the points that are seen in the far left column) The surprise of the week was the 0-4 Colts knocking off the Steelers, behind a solid rushing effort by Johnny Hector. Congrats to Rams who moved into the win column, leaving the Bears as the lone winless team in the HFL.
