Back to School!
Welcome to third grade! I think you will find this year to be challenging, productive, and most of all, fun! Academic Recap
Coming back to school is always an exciting time for students. Fresh new pencils and folders in bright-colored backpacks seem to signify a new start and the beginning of something exciting. I hope you share in this excitement and look forward to a great year of innovative learning. As you can tell, the world has gone digital and learning now extends beyond the four walls of the traditional classroom. No longer are students bound to merely learning from pencil and paper, the world and its limitless knowledge is now readily available for students of the twenty-first century. This year, students will have the opportunity to jump on board with the world and participate in online discussions, give each other encouragement and feedback on their work, and ultimately collaborate as a collective community of learners. Furthermore, parents will have access to view student work, receive updates on classroom learning, and contribute encouragement to the students via online comments. Parent-teacherstudent communication has never been easier. As the facilitator, I am excited to participate in this innovative way of learning and sharing.
