Airport Opportunity • RWSA has talked to Airport Authority • Issues from Airport Authority Perspective - FAA funding is critical - FAA has not approved a runway expansion, and there's no guarantee they will - FAA would require competitive bidding for structural fill - no assurance RWSA would win bid - Airport considering new technology options that may eliminate need for runway expansion
