Summer 2018 • Inside sales engineer for commercial HVAC heating and cooling systems. • Communicated with customers and engineers to select equipment meeting design specifications. Meeting industry standards for NEMA & UL enclosures. • VBA programming - Excel Macro-Enabled workbook that served as a visual tool for sales engineers. Used Henry’s law to calculate the amount of entrained air in the system, provided an appropriate range of air separators to remove entrained air, and calculated the ROI.

HONORS & AWARDS • First place in the 2018 Beall Student Design Competition Competed against 16 other finalist teams for a cash prize of $10,000. • Finalist in the 2019 Cornell Cup Systems Engineering Competition - Finals to be held May 2 - May 4 at NASA Kennedy Space Center. • UC Irvine’s Ingenuity 2018 Technology Showcase - One of six student projects at UC Irvine chosen to present to industry professionals and alumni. • AIAA SciTech 2019 Conference Paper – Paper Citation: M. Orthogonal Sailboat Summer 2018 • Modeled a 30’ Micronesian vessel; designed a rudder system to withstand shunting maneuvers. Researched sailing maneuvers and terminology.
P-51 Mustang Finite Element Analysis Winter 2019 • FEA analysis on landing gear of a P-51 mustang. Solidworks CFD simulation of wings at multiple angles of attack. Modal, Buckling, and Fatigue simulations were conducted on landing gear.
Pneumatic Robot Spring 2017 • Design and construction of an air-powered robot that can navigate an obstacle course.
