Infantry defending wagons use the CF (4) of the wagons. Cavalry cannot assault the Wagon Tabor and only foot may attempt to capture it. Pikes are the only unit that may use 2 ranks when attacking the Wagon Tabor, all other units fight only the front rank. Deploying the Wagon Tabor The Wagon Tabor is modelled as a complete piece and placed on the table at the beginning of the battle. The tabor may be placed anywhere within the Cossack deployment zone as per p. 22 of the 1644 rules. Modelling the Wagon Tabor I have modelled my Wagon Tabor of 8 wagons, 2 light guns and 1 field gun on several rectangular pieces of MDF measuring 20 inches long (50 cm) by 15 inches (37.5 cm) deep. This also allows me to place pieces within the Tabor to give it a diorama look. Vignettes such as tents, cooking fires and baggage add to the look.
