Episode 1: The Killing of Carlton Comet

The Case: On February 14th, 2019 at 7:00 pm, Carlton Comet, Nancy Normal, Theresa Terry, Fred Flimmer, Sam Sophomore, and Glen Glee arrived on Chalk Hill for a picnic to celebrate Valentine's Day. The dinner was going well until at 7:35 pm the sky darkened and a glass breaking, screaming, and a groan presumed to be Carlton’s was heard. When light returned at 7:36 Carlton Comet was slumped over dead with a steak knife in his back.

The Suspects: - Nancy Normal - Glen Glee - Theresa Terra - Fred Flimmer - Sam Sophomore

Prime Suspect:

Nancy Normal

Our charges We choose to convict Nancy Normal on the charge of first degree murder. We believe, due to the evidence, that the crime was premeditated.

Finger Prints: In our investigation fingerprints were found on the glass table top near Carleton Comet. We have identified them as belonging to Nancy Normal. (Crime Scene)

Blood Type: Two blood samples were left on the scene. They were identified as blood types O and A. The type O blood belonged to Carleton Comet. The only suspects left with type A blood are Theresa Terra, Glen Glee, and Nancy Normal. Fred Flimmer O Glen Glee

Karyotypes: Crime Scene 1: XYY Matches with Carlton and Sam

Crime Scene 2: XXX Matches with Nancy

Triple X Syndrome: Causes Developmental Delays,Behavioral Issues, Anxiety, and Depression. Klinefelter Syndrome (XXY): Causes lack of Hair, Weak Muscles, Breast Enlargement.

Pedigree: This Pedigree shows the family relationship between the suspects and the victim.

Ink Chromatography: Why?: Found on the Crime scene was a note with the written message “You are a dead man”. Three suspects were found to have pens on their person. Assuming one of them wrote the note we tested all the pens to see which was the closest to the pen used to write the note. We did this via ink chromatography.

Pen 1: Glen Glee Pen 2: Nancy Normal Pen 3: Fred Flimmer Note pen: Nancy Normal had a match for the pen.

Dna fingerprinting: Dna was collected from two samples at the crime scene and from all the suspects. It was then all compared via electrophoresis, the results show that Crime Scene 2 matches with Nancy, and Crime Scene 1 Matches with Carlton.

Conclusion: We Accuse Nancy Normal of Killing Carlton Comet. Evidence: ● Her Pen Matches the Note ● Her fingerprints were on the table ● Her blood matched what was found on the knife ● Triple X Syndrome ● Has a Motive

Motive: Nancy Normal is deeply in love with Fred Flimmer. Fred Flimmer’s father is Carlton Comet and he hates him because Carlton had a love triangle with and killed Fred’s sister and Aunt. Carlton Comet also had an affair with Nancy’s Aunt. Nancy having Triple X syndrome means she is prone to anxiety, depression, behavioral issues and learning disabilities, these symptoms combined with her lust for Fred would easily lead to her murdering Carlton.
