multivibrator I.
Discussion Bi-Stable Multivibrator is type of Multivibrator that has two stable states and no quasi-stable state. Multivibrators is a relaxation oscillator in which, the in-phase feedback is obtained from two transistors or any active device. Typically, their outputs are coupled through resistive-capacitive elements so that one is cut-off when the other is conducting. Bi-Stable Multivibrator is classified as a driven, because it requires external driving or triggering to start its operation and maintain it. It has two stable states that will not change unless the circuit is disturbed. As I observed, led 1 is initially turned on, it only change unless the trigger is supplied by +Vcc.
II.
Conclusion
Therefore, Bi-Stable Multivibrator is function not simultaneously, when one is cut-off the other is conducting. The state of this multivibrator will only change when the circuit is disturbed or when the trigger is supplied by +Vcc.
mixer III. Discussion This experiment is all about mixer, it is a non-linear circuit designed to generate sum and difference frequencies when two or more frequencies are present at its input. It is used to perform frequency translation; it may translate the input signal to a higher frequency or lower frequency. It is depend upon the type of mixer, either it add or subtract the input. As I observed, in every point of the circuit have different sine wave from A, B and C. From pure sine wave, sine wave inside a sine wave and sine wave with a ripple. As we change the value of the two input frequency, the output frequency also change.
IV.
Conclusion
Therefore, the output of the mixer consists of the sum and difference frequencies of the two inputs. A tuned circuit of filter at the output of the mixer selects the desired output signal while rejecting the others.
