It was gray i n c o l o r , with no v i s i b l e appurtenances o r ogenings except f o r a s l i g h t bulge a l o n g t h e bottom. I t was about 400 f e e t above the road, and he gxessed i t s l e n g t h t o 'ce 25 f e e t . Nr. Blxckmdn' f i r s t thocght was it might be a b a l l o o n a d v e r t i s i n g the S t a t e F a i r i n S2cialia, but when the o b j e c t appeared over t h e junction of Highways 5 2 and 135 and lowered t o withi n 50 f c e t of the road, i t w a s c l o s e enough t o M r . Blackman t h a t he was c c r t a i n it was not a balloon--or any o t h e r t y p e o f v e h i c l e he had c v c r secn. Farmers were b a l i n g hay i n f i e l d nearby and IvIr.
