The Research about the visibility chances of the moon of Rabee -Uth-thani 1429 Dear Sir. I m sending you the English translation of my Urdu write-up based on forecasting, about visibility of moon of the month of Rabeeulawwal 1429. Sunday, April 6, 2008 (Pakistan 28 Rabee-ul-Awwal and Saudi Arab 29 Rabee-ul-Awwal) The time of the birth of the moon of Rabee-uth-thani 1429 is 3:55 UT On Sunday April 6, 2008 (i.e. 8:55 Pakistan standard Time and 6:55 Saudi standard time) Because the age and the other factors involving in the First visibility of the moon e.g. lag, Rel.Azi. And Elongation etc. are very poor on April 6 Sunday therefore According to more than 18 new and old criteria of moon Sighting, including Al-Beruni, Yaqoob-bin-Tariq, Babylonians and ancient Indians etc., the moon can not be sighted with naked eyes in Pakistan, India, Iran, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. The easily visibility with naked eye is expected Only in the North America on April 6 Sunday. The founder of the moonsighting.com, Dr. Khalid Shaukat and The founder of "ICOP", engineer Shaukat Odeh has expressed Visibility chances only and only by optical aid in Iran, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia etc. While only Dr. Khalid Shaukat has shown the possibility of moon sighting by Optical aid in Pakistan but Shaukat Odeh has not shown Such chances in Pakistan. In the countries situated on the eastern side of Pakistan E.g. India, Bangladesh, China, Japan and also in the Southern Part of continent Africa, South America, Australia and New Zeeland, the conditions of moon are so poor that on Sunday April 6 the moon can't be sighted in these regions, not only by Naked eyes but also with optical aid. In Central America, Europe and in the northern part of the South America and Africa, according to some criteria, moon Can't be sighted but according to other ones it can be sighted Under perfect conditions or with the optical aid. Monday April 7 (Pakistan 29 Rabee-ul-Awwal and Saudi Arab???)
The conditions of the moon are so nice that on this day moon will be easily visible in the all world except Southern Australia and Newzeland, where moon will be Easily visible on Tuesday April 8. Conditions of moon in Karachi on Monday April 7, 2008. According to the software "moon calculate 6" of Doctor Manzoor Ahmad UK, the conditions of the moon in Karachi at Sun set i.e. 6:51 on Monday April 7, 2008 are as under below: Altitude= 18.1 Rel.Azi. = 4.1 Elongation=19.3 Age of Moon= 33 hrs 54 minutes. Lag= one hr 31 minutes According to the above detail, it is clear that in Pakistan and Saudi Arab first Rabee-uth-thani should be on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. But because on the evening of Sunday April 6, the conditions of the moon are very poor in Pakistan and Saudi Arab e.g. on that evening the moon age is only 9 to 10 hours in Pakistan and 11 to 12 hours in Saudi Arab therefore if anybody claims the sighting of the Moon on April 6 in these two countries and if it is accepted Without the queries of ulama and astronomers then it will be an unacceptable decision. The Astronomical New Moon is on April 6, 2008 (Sunday) at 3:55 Universal Time or GMT (i.e., 11:55 pm EDT on April 5, and 8:55 am PDT on April 5). It will be easily visible on April 6, in North America, even in Alaska. It will be visible in Northern Europe and Northwest Africa with difficulty on April 6. It will be visible all over the world except New Zealand on April 7, Insha-Allah. In New Zealand, it will be visible on April 8.

Sunday, April 6, 2008 (Pakistan 28 Rabee-ul-Awwal and Saudi Arab 29 Rabee-ul-Awwal) The time of the birth of the moon of Rabee-uth-thani 1429 is 3:55 UT On Sunday April 6, 2008 (i.e. 8:55 Pakistan standard Time and 6:55 Saudi standard time) Because the age and the other factors involving in the First visibility of the moon e.g. lag, Rel.Azi. And Elongation etc. are very poor on April 6 Sunday therefore According to more than 18 new and old criteria of moon Sighting, including Al-Beruni, Yaqoob-bin-Tariq, Babylonians and ancient Indians etc., the moon can not be sighted with naked eyes in Pakistan, India, Iran, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. The easily visibility with naked eye is expected Only in the North America on April 6 Sunday. The founder of the moonsighting.com, Dr. Khalid Shaukat and The founder of "ICOP", engineer Shaukat Odeh has expressed Visibility chances only and only by optical aid in Iran, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia etc. While only Dr. Khalid Shaukat has shown the possibility of moon sighting by Optical aid in Pakistan but Shaukat Odeh has not shown Such chances in Pakistan. In the countries situated on the eastern side of Pakistan E.g. India, Bangladesh, China, Japan and also in the Southern Part of continent Africa, South America, Australia and New Zeeland, the conditions of moon are so poor that on Sunday April 6 the moon can't be sighted in these regions, not only by Naked eyes but also with optical aid. In Central America, Europe and in the northern part of the South America and Africa, according to some criteria, moon Can't be sighted but according to other ones it can be sighted Under perfect conditions or with the optical aid. The conditions of the moon are so nice that on this day moon will be easily visible in the all world except Southern Australia and Newzeland, where moon will be Easily visible on Tuesday April 8. Conditions of moon in Karachi on Monday April 7, 2008. According to the software "moon calculate 6" of Doctor Manzoor Ahmad UK, the conditions of the moon in Karachi at Sun set i.e. 6:51 on Monday April 7, 2008 are as under below: Altitude= 18.1 Rel.Azi. = 4.1 Elongation=19.3 Age of Moon= 33 hrs 54 minutes. Lag= one hr 31 minutes According to the above detail, it is clear that in Pakistan and Saudi Arab first Rabee-uth-thani should be on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. But because on the evening of Sunday April 6, the conditions of the moon are very poor in Pakistan and Saudi Arab e.g. on that evening the moon age is only 9 to 10 hours in Pakistan and 11 to 12 hours in Saudi Arab therefore if anybody claims the sighting of the Moon on April 6 in these two countries and if it is accepted Without the queries of ulama and astronomers then it will be an unacceptable decision.
