INTRODUCTION I chose this topic because I think is very inportant nowdays, every day thounsand of people arrive in this country either to meet diferents places, to visit their family and only travel and know dieferent places. I think that this topic can be fun. Also, because this country have sideferent beautiful places and trousand of costumes. The turist in this country is very important of the society because this give some work to many people, ither selling gifs, and selling traditional food, take photos and is very important for the development from the citys. I love travel around the country, make turism. I can say that i have visit any places like: huaraz, Lima, Trujillo, Huacho, Sihuas, Corongo, Huayabamba, Barranca and Ayacucho. And I can say, always i can have see turists, buying diferents things and eating tipical food. In special for me, always travel out site the city for my work, always meet some places and that i like it.

TURISM IN PERU I. TOURISM AND DEVELOPMENT Tourism today is a very important source of income for countries, whether it gives income to families and municipalities. Tourism also contributes in the exchange of customs and learning new and different things. Peru has several tourist areas and miles of varied customs, the country is one of the countries most diverse and rich in traditions and therefore, this country receives miles of tourists every day, by land and air. 1.1 TURISM AND WORK The turism give munch many to people, for example in my work, always travel out side the city, always I meet new places and diferents costumes. In special for my, every time, when i travel, I see to thousan turist, either in my work, in the restourant, in the park, well, in every where. 1.2 TURISM AND CITIES The tourism help to development of the citys, because this give many money to municipalities, and so, it can build diferents places, either parks, schools, stadiums and munch more. Also with this it can build roads and this bring devepment to shops, houses and all city. Places like Cusco, Trujillo, Chimbote and Lima have grown enormously. Every yera thousand of people travel to this places, this places have many beautiful places for to visit, the day or night. 1.3 TURIMS AND FAMILY In fact, this give many work to familys, because the familys can work either in gif shops, selling eat, traditional eat, either, Cuy, Pachamanca, Combinado, Ceviche.

The familys can bring many to theur houses, their familys, and this help with the development their familys and their economic.

II. THE BEST PLACES TO DO TOURISM The five most visited places in Peru are Cusco, Lima, the Amazon jungle, the hill of 7 colors and Chimbote. 2.1 CUSCO Mystical sacred city, considered the capital of the Tahuantinsuyo Empire with a great historical and architectural legacy. Surrounded by green valleys with imposing tourist attractions, culture, tradition and faith still dormant. Known as the navel of the world for being the political and territorial center of the Inca Empire. 2.1.1 TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS Cusco has traditional dances such as Cápac colla, Cápac chuncho, Cusqueño Carnival. Every year the InTi Raimy is held in Cusco, which attracts thousands of tourists 2.1.2 TRADITIONAL FOOD AND DRINK The traditional food of Cusco is famous for its flavor and the way in which it is prepared, the products of the area are used. This food attracts foreign tourists as nationals

2.2 LIMA Lima respects its past and achieves the perfect harmony between tradition and contemporary architecture. To walk through its streets is to admire its churches, archaeological sites and mansions with balconies that coexist with modern buildings. In 1991, its Historic Center was declared a World Heritage Site: its artistic monuments were to be protected.

Lima is also the only South American capital with access to the sea. Its beaches are perfect for surfers and on its piers, the gentle breeze refreshes bike rides and walks. You can also fly in paragliding over the Pacific Ocean. 2.2.1 TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS Lima has more important festivities, each of them attracts tourists and a large number of job opportunities like: The bullfight, day of pisco, The procession of the Lord of Miracles, The day of Santa Rosa de Lima. 2.2.2 TRADITIONAL FOOD AND DRINK Peruvian ceviche. It is considered the flagship dish of Peru and, although it is found in other destinations on the Pacific coast of South America, only in this country do sea and mountain ingredients combine so harmoniously. Cuy, Rocoto relleno, Ají de gallina, Lomo saltado, Papa a la huancaína. 2.3 SELVA AMAZONICA The world's largest and most diversified rainforest is a paradise for nature lovers. Impressive and fascinating where everything is gigantic, an explosion of colors, smells, and unknown sounds. Venture in the jungle, we enter another dimension, the giant trees can reach 40 meters high with a trunk 3 meters in diameter, the flowers, the leaves are immense, the cacophony is permanent, the jungle never sleeps. 2.3.1 TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS The festival of San Juan is one of the most famous customs of this area, it is celebrated every June 24 but the celebration begins the day before with the inhabitants going to the rivers to purify themselves in the water of the rivers, based on the belief in that day San Juan blesses the rivers and with his water he fills with health, happiness and good luck for all the year 2.3.2 TRADITIONAL FOOD AND DRINK

The cuisine of the jungle is also special. Of course you can try local specialties such as suri, a large white worm or giant ants, but the typical dishes are sometimes more "civilized" like the juane, chicken, rice and vegetables cooked inside a bijao leaf (a tree local), the tacacho with cecina, a mash of bananas with dried meat and excellent fish and in particular the paiche and piranha. They also prepare rich liquors made from local plants with evocative names such as the breakers, hot atmosphere assured.

2.4 CERRO DE 7 COLORES The Mountain of the 7 Colors (also called 'arcoíris') is one of the new and best attractions of Peru. It is a magical place where its roads were part of the ancient Quechua culture, and which is used to exchange its products (barter products), along with the other Quechua regions, now it has become a natural wonder similar to the arc mountain Irises of the Chinese. 2.54 CHIMBOTE Chimbote is a port city of the department of Ancash, in the north of Peru. It is famous for its fish farms, as well as being a transit center for the region. The huge cathedral of Nuestra Señora del Carmen and San Pedro Apóstol contains elaborate works of sacred art. The seawall of the Malecón is located in front of Isla Blanca, an uninhabited island that is accessed by boat. 2.3.1 TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS Chimbote is a very beautiful port city. Every year it attracts thousands of tourists in its famous patron saint festival in San Pedro, bringing people not only from the outside but also from the interior of the country. In this festivity thousands of boats go out to sea, castles are burned and there are parties in all the streets.

2.3.2 TRADITIONAL FOOD AND DRINK Traditional chimbote food is the famous ceviche and the combined, also the cause, rice with duck and tamales.

CONCLUSIONS These different cities have developed partly thanks to tourism, since tourists leave money and income to the cities. Families have seen this as a blessing, since in one way or another they all see this beautiful activity. Tourism also helps to share and exchange different cultures and customs.
