Summary Eng. Ghazy is a civil and environmental engineer. In June, 2007 he was awarded by DAAD to complete his PhD study in Germany. Since October 2007 he has enrolled in the Institute of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany to carry out his research project”Sustainable Sewage Sludge Management Based on Life Cycle Assessment Approach“which was started by the first of 2008 and is funded by DAAD. He awarded M.Sc. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Benha University, Egypt. His research project was” Studying of Disinfection by-Product in Benha Water Supply System”. He was awarded by InWEnt to enrol in the Advanced Professional Training program in Integrated Management of Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal, which held in Germany from November 2002 to July 2003. Since 1999, he is working in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Benha University and is sharing in teaching different courses in the field of sanitary and environmental engineering. From 1999 to 2006, He was working as project engineer at Hamza Associates Consulting Engineers (HA), Egypt and sharing in the planning and preparation of master plans, feasibility studies, tender studies, also design and supervise the construction of various sanitation project, such as Water Treatment Plants, Water Distribution Systems, Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Sewerage Drainage Systems. From 2006 to 2007, He was also working as Senior Water Supply & Sanitation Engineer in Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Warith Consulting Engineers (AWW), Egypt. The main field of experience is Wastewater Treatment projects especially; integrated Sanitation and Sewerage improvement projects, low cost sewerage systems, Centralization and Decetentralised Waste Water Management projects.
