Mixed Media Design I: Final Exam Portfolio Del Norte High School: Mrs. Kuptz Part I: You will create a Portfolio Presentation using photographic images of your projects. The portfolio must be bound in a small binder/ neat folder or presented as a PowerPoint and e-mailed to Mrs. Kuptz at [email protected]. Part II: An oral presentation will be made of your favorite project. You will present the image and discuss the art elements and principles of the piece and specifically why you liked this piece of artwork. 2 min. max. You must have a note card filled out with appropriate presentation notes in order to present. Part III: Additional points will be given on finals day for: on-time arrival, clean up assignment completion, cubby clean out and appropriate classroom behavior.

The final exam is worth 1/3 of your grade…”It is kind of a big deal!!! Portfolio Presentation must include the following: An introduction page that has your name, Mixed Media Design I, DNHS Fall Semester 2009, Period ____ Instructor, Mrs. Kuptz 2. 5 photos that illustrates 5 of your best pieces of work. The photos must be mounted on a separate sheet of paper. Underneath each mounted picture or on the PPT slide must be a well written paragraph that summarizes the process, art elements and principles as well as your positive feelings about your work. -All text must be typed with strong sentence structure, grammar and all spelling checked and proofread. 3. One page that gives step-by-step instructions in the form of an instructional “worksheet.” Small diagrams or drawings are required to clarify the process. 4. Vocabulary page: 15 vocabulary words with definitions. Use your sketchbook as a resource. 5. A closing page that describes your favorite project of the trimester and why you chose that project. Also, on this final page, list 3 lifelong skills that you learned that will help you in the future. These skills don’t necessarily need to be artistic skills. 1.

Creativity, effort and neatness will be noted and will be reflected in your final grade. Portfolios are due on the day of the final. There will be no exceptions.

Computers are available in the library. Please, do not wait until the last minute to submit work as computer issues do arise and you need time to allow for that and make appropriate adjustments….not excuses!!! Notes: The day I take my final in MMD is __________________________
