It aims to create an attractive environment for local and foreign investors thereby helping to improve living standards by reducing unemployment and increasing disposable income, by providing the right incentives and creating investment regimes dedicated to export-driven projects. threats 1. strength 1. The only governmental entity moderating investment affairs in Egypt. 2. Empowerment of current minister of investment & international cooperation which allowed to make decisive amendments in the newly released investment law. 3. SME’s and entrepreneurial mindset initiatives launching at the time being that support startups and new registered companies. 4. Huge access to finance through the capability of funding projects through international cooperation perspective, to fund infrastructure projects. Opportunities

weakness 1. weak economic growth that negatively affects the purchasing power of individuals and decrease investment opportunities, especially after floating decision. 2. Current inflation rate. 3. Ambiguity about the adopted economic policies by the coming regime and whether they would be in favor the market economy or not. 4. legal challenges face largest developers and its negative on their performance. 5. 0abor problems are another issue facing Amer because of pay a lo% %agesfor labors threats 1. Severe competition we face from our neighboring countries as Gabal Ali port in UAE, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco and Turkey due to the significant incentives provided there.
