Current Overview of Soap Stone Mine Tanawal

There was an adit from the surface to 300ft, after that an inclined shaft was driven at 60® dipping. The length of the inclined shaft was 200ft. From the exposure to the end of the adit there was a black and reddish color schist which was the indication of soap stone. At the end of the adit a black color rock is in majority in front face while white color was exposed in the down portion, therefore the adit was converted into inclined shaft at that point. Radius of the entrance was 10ft but it was varying through out the mine.

DRILLING Tanaval Mine was an underground mine so the operations were different on the bases of scale as compared to surface mining.
