Root Conclusion As we grow up we all tend to go out do some grocery shopping for ourselves, family, friends etc. we consumers put in a lot of time and effort in deciding what to buy and how long it will last until our next visit. After putting in lot of effort in all that it gets very galling so see long queue in basically any grocery store. However sometimes customers in front of us even leave the queue to grab something they unknowingly may have forgotten, even at times there could be problem in the barcodes of some commodities where the customer or the merchandiser will have to go and collect the same product with a proper barcode. This process delays a lot of valuable time for both the consumers and the store as well. This procedure not only frustrates the consumers but also make them uncomfortable where the store may lose potential customers.

1. Introduction Company background: Carrefour is a worldwide multinational hypermarket that was established in the year 1958 by Marcel Fournier in France. It is the fourth largest supply chain hypermarket in the world and it is major operated in countries like UAE, Brazil, China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and many countries in Europe as well. Carrefour is a multi-intrigue hypermarket with all types of products you name it and is found in all the 7 emirates in the UAE with a number of 19 hypermarkets and 21 express Carrefour supermarkets in the region itself and continue to buildup more.

1.1 Problem – Productivity (Efficient and Effectiveness ) : The productivity increases on when the number of output is satisfied in our case it is the number of consumer in the store. Before we take any action into consideration we first have to study different factors such as the behavior of the workers, individual who are alone or if they are with their family, friends etc. After knowing the behavior of these aspects it will be easier to find a productive solution for our emerging issue.
