Stage 1-Before Independence • The Spanish had power over the criollos, indigenous, blacks, and mestizo people.

Stage 2-Planning • A priest named Miguel Hidalgo led the criollos, indigenous ,black and mestizos to fight against the spanish.

Stage 3-Grito De Dolores • Hidalgo starts the fight against the Spanish,But is captured and killed.

Stage 4-Mexican Independence • They took out the Spanish and used the “Plan De Iguala” to make everyone equal.

Mexican-American War 1 • The U.S wanted war after being attacked while invading Mexico.

Mexican-American War 2 • The U.S won because they had better weapons and more soldiers.

Mexican-American War 3 • The U.S gave Mexico $15 million dollars for California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, and Utah.
