Meet the Teacher! About Me Hi! My name is Summer Knight and I am your child’s 3rd grade teacher. This is my first year teaching but I am not a stranger to Walter Douglas and the Flowing Wells district. I spent the fall 2016 semester student teaching with 5th grade teacher, Ms. Barber. Following that, I was a long term substitute for Mrs. Strickland in 5th grade here at Douglas. I was also a long term substitute in first grade at Centennial Elementary. I am very excited to be in third grade and to get to know my students and their families! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

My Education In December of 2016, I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education. Bear down!
