AR testing in Media Center after school (M-Th) ONLY! Not during class.
New Releases may not be renewed as others are waiting. If a book is not on the shelf you may reserve your turn to check it out next.
Passes
Students may check out three books. Please check with Mrs. Poulsen if you need to check out more than three. Most books can be checked out for two weeks. Classroom novels are for longer periods of time. There is a grace period of three days before a fine of $.05 a day is imposed. Books may be renewed for an additional two weeks. ($5 maximum fine per book) Students with overdue books or owed fines may not check out any materials until he/she takes care of the fine.

“Carpe Librum” Or “Seize the Books”
A planner with a readable barcode, an activity card or a library card ($.25) is needed to check out books.
Detention students need to sign in and enter the time of arrival and departure and fill out a pink slip for Mr. Tucker.
No eating or drinking in the Media Center!
Any materials checked out in your name will become your responsibility !
Computers
You are welcome to print in black & white whatever you need for class. The cost is part of your student fees.
Computers are to be used for school assignments. They may not be used for—Gaming, Messaging, Downloading, or Burning of Copyright Materials.
Internet Use
Color Printing is available for $.25 per page. Please place the document you need to have printed in the I:Drive> Library Media Center>Please Print folder for Mrs. Poulsen to print for you.
You are expected to have a pass from your class when you come to the Media Center. Please check in at the circulation desk.
There are 14 computers in the Media Center available for your use.
The internet should be used for schoolwork only. All internet sites you visit should be school appropriate. The use of proxy avoidance sites is prohibited and will not be tolerated.
Students visiting the Media Center deserve a quiet and orderly place to read/study. Please respect the rights of others.
