Accounting Clerk The Municipal District of Bonnyville invites applications for the position of Accounting Clerk within the Finance and Administration Department. This position will report directly to the Accountant. This full time, intermediate position will provide assistance to the senior accountant in maintaining and updating the municipality’s financial records. Key traits for this position include the ability to maintain strict confidentiality, be detail oriented, and possess proficiency with computerized accounting systems, MS Word and Excel. The successful applicant will have a minimum of three years accounting experience, and be able to perform bank reconciliations and general ledger transactions. Past municipal government experience is preferred. In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, time management and multi-tasking skills. Past payroll experience and familiarity with Bellamy software would be a definite asset. Good team building skills are required, as well as the ability to work under minimal supervision.
