1. INTRODUCTION i)

The FMGE-Screening Test has been introduced by the Screening Test Regulations 2002. As per the regulations, “An Indian citizen possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act.”

ii)

The Examination is held twice a year at New Delhi.

iii)

The test is conducted in English language.

iv)

The exam consists of one paper.

v)

There will be 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) of single response type in the paper (Divided in two sittings of 150 questions each).

vi)

There is NO negative marking.

vii) An applicant shall be declared as having passed only if he/she obtains a minimum of 50% of marks in the examination. viii) Results (Pass/Fail) for eligible candidates will be displayed at the website and office of NBE. There is no provision for declaration of marks obtained or reevaluation/retotalling. ix)

The applicants who qualify the Screening Test may apply to the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or to any State Medical Council for provisional registration / permanent registration.

x)

There are no restrictions on number of attempts that can be availed by an applicant.

NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATIONS 2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS 1.

Instructions in the booklet are liable to changes based on decisions taken by the Government / Medical Council / Competent Authority / Court decisions from time to time. Applicants are required to refer to the latest bulletin or corrigendum that may be issued to incorporate these changes.

2.

Application forms can be downloaded from website www.natboard.edu.in; downloaded forms have to be submitted alongwith form fee of Rs.500.00

3.

No Queries of the Applicant/Guardians/Parents will be entertained on telephone with regard to the eligibility and disclosures of results.

4.

Applicants, for eligibility criteria, should go through the bulletin carefully before writing to the Board’s office.

5.

Submission of incomplete applications or applications not in accordance with instructions will not be considered and the candidates will be declared ineligible. In such cases, the entire fees will be forfeited.

6.

Applicants are required to submit all the requisite annexures with the application form; lack of relevant annexure shall lead to cancellation of application form and the entire fees will be forfeited.

7.

Applicants should have passed the Primary Medical Qualification i.e. MBBS or Equivalent degree and must submit proof of passing the same with the application form. In absence of Proof of Passing certificate before the last date of application submission, the application shall be treated as incomplete and fees will be forfeited.

8.

The foreign medical degrees should be attested either by the Embassy of Indian or should be Apostilled by the appropriate authority and the copy the same should be attested by the Gazetted Officer and self certified. For details regarding Apostilled documents, candidates may refer to the website of Ministry of External Affairs (www.meaindia.nic.in)

9.

Applicants are advised to fill their postal address correctly as this address shall be used for sending the Roll Numbers and Results.

10. Fees once paid will neither be carried forward to a future date nor be refunded under any circumstances. 11. Applications of applicants producing false or fabricated records will not be considered and such applicants will be further debarred from appearing in the future examinations of the board. Action as deemed appropriate by the Board will be taken if false or fabricated records/information are submitted or any unfair means are used.

12. Roll numbers / results can be seen at the website www.natboard.edu.in 13. Roll number can be downloaded from the website and quoted when not received by post in time. 14. Appearance or success in the screening test does not confer any right upon candidate for seeking registration with MCI/State Medical Council. Registration of FMG by the MCI /State Medical Council is subject to fulfillment of MCI /State Medical Council criteria/rules/regulations framed for this purpose. 15. Undertaking by applicant as per Annexure ‘E’ has to be submitted with application form. 16. Notifications, regulations etc. issued by Government of India, Medical Council of India may be referred for eligibility criteria, pattern, schedule of exam. There is no provision for retotalling/re-evaluation/declaration of marks. 17. The Admit Card is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is punishable offence under law. CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR PASSPORT ALONGWITH THE ADMIT CARD FOR ENTRY TO THE EXAMINATION CENTRE. National Board of Examinations reserves its absolute right to verify the identity of the applicant/examinees/candidates. 18

Unfair means NBE reserves its absolute rights to take penal action under applicable civil/criminal procedure/guideline or any other action deemed appropriate against candidates found using unfair means. Unfair means includes canvassing for support of a candidate with examiners of DNB Exam/NBE office/any other functionary/use of electronic gadges as Mobile Phones during exam/Impersonation/use of study aids as books/notes etc. during exam./ Influencing any functionary of exam system/any other act intended to breach the sanctity of examination process.

19. Jurisdiction for all disputes shall be at Delhi/New Delhi in the Delhi High Court.

NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATIONS 3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA The Applicant must meet/fulfill the following criteria : i)

He / She is a citizen of India.

ii)

Possesses primary medical qualifications that are recognized by the Government of the country issuing that qualification and the holder of that qualification is entitled for practice in that country. The said medical school must be listed in WHO directory of medical schools.

iii)

He / She had obtained “Eligibility Certificate’ from the Medical Council of India (applicable only in respect to students who took admission abroad on or after 15.03.2002). This requirement shall not be necessary in respect of Indian citizens who have obtained admission in foreign medical institute before 15th March 2002.

iv)

All students who have taken admission abroad prior to 15.03.2002 and are required to qualify the Screening Test for their registration, shall be allowed to appear in the Screening Test even if they do not meet the minimum admission norms of MCI for joining undergraduate medical course, subjected to the compliance of the Judgment(s) of the Hon’ble Supreme Court/Competent Courts in this regard including but not limited to judgment dated 8th March 2002 in Civil Appeal No. 2779 of 2000 & other judgments /orders as well as instructions issued by MCI from time to time.

v)

From 15.03.2002 and onwards all students are required to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from MCI before proceeding abroad for studies in Medicine.

vi)

Applicants/Candidates may also refer to Screening Test Regulations and Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, Eligibility Certificate Regulations issued by Medical Council of India. The same may be referred to at www.mciindia.org or obtained from Secretary, Medical Council of India, Sector 8 Pocket 14, Dwarka, New Delhi. Telephone: 25367033, 25367035 Fax: 25367024.

The exam shall be held on 27 September, 2009 at New Delhi Timing of the exam are: i) Paper I – Forenoon/ Ist Session 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM ii) Paper I – Afternoon/ IInd Session 2:00 PM to 04:30 PM Reporting Time for candidates for the first and second sitting is 09:15 AM and 01:15PM respectively. The Exact venue at New Delhi Shall be notified in the Admit Card. Applicants are to make own arrangements for Travel /lodging etc. All candidates are required to bring their Passport as proof of Identity at the exam center. Candidates may not be to allowed to appear in exam if they are unable to produce original passport.

Application Form Fee (to be submitted by candidates using internet downloaded forms) – Rs 500/- (Five Hundred) 3. Late Fee – To be submitted by candidates submitting their application form after the cut off date but before the cut off date with late fee as prescribed in this Information Bulletin – Rs 1500/- (One Thousand & Five Hundred only) The fee can be paid by the following means:a) By Cash Deposit: At selected branches of Indian Bank – The fee as above can be deposited in selected branches of the Indian Bank (for list of branches of the bank, refer to Annexure ‘B’ of this Information Bulletin); Kindly use the specialized pay-in-slip provided in this Information Bulletin for this purpose Annexure C. b) By Draft /pay order issued from Nationalized Bank drawn in favor of NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATIONS payable at New Delhi, along with the application form by the last date as specified in the Bulletin of Information. Kindly Note:Absentees from the examination will forfeit their examination fee. Candidates are advised to read the rule position carefully and satisfy terms and conditions for fulfillment of eligibility criteria. VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS / CREDENTIALS Applicants are required to submit attested (self attested and by Gazetted Officer) copies of i) Proof of Date of Birth ii) Copy of Passport of the applicant/Nationality Proof (e.g. voters ID Card) iii) 10+2 passing certificate issued by the respective Board of Examination iv) 10+2 mark sheet issued by the respective Board of Examination v) Certificate of Passing Primary Medical Qualification i.e. MBBS or equivalent or equivalent degree certificate with mark sheet.Candidates are required to submit copies of degrees, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and self-certified. The degrees should be attested either by the Embassy of India or should be Apostilled by the appropriate authority. For details regarding Apostilled documents, candidates may refer to the website of Ministry of External Affairs www.meaindia.nic.in vi) Internship Certificate (if done abroad) vii) Eligibility Certificate issued by MCI (if available) for candidates joined on or after 15.03.2009 viii) Translated copies (in English / Hindi) to be furnished if the certificates are in language other than English / Hindi. ix) Equivalence Certificate : From Association of Indian Universities (for candiates who have done 10+2 abroad)

Write in capital letters only and tick the required information in the boxes wherever provided. Please note that your name, your father’s name, and your date of birth should be exactly the same as in your High School or your first Board/University examination Certificate. A total of 4 copies of recent passport size colour photograph of the applicant are required (Two Pasted on application form and two photographs without any attestation pasted on a sheet of paper). The photographs must bear nameplate of the applicant. The photograph must have name and date printed on it. Date must be on or after the sale of Information Bulletin. i.e. on after 15.01.2009. Application form must be signed by the applicant. Application form without signature will not be considered and shall be rejected. The applicant is required to give the postal address in capital letters with pin code number. Application form must be filled by candidate in his/her own handwriting use of proxy for filling of application form will lead to cancellation of candidature.

8. ADMIT CARDS i)

Admit Card will be issued to all eligible applicants whose complete Application Forms have been received by NBE on or before the last date of receiving the application form. ii) The Applicant should carefully examine the Admit Card and ensure that all the entries therein are correct. In case of any discrepancy, the same shall be brought to notice of the National Board of Examinations. iii) The Admit Card is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is punishable offence under law. CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR PASSPORT ALONGWITH THE ADMIT CARD FOR ENTRY TO THE EXAMINATION CENTRE. National Board of Examinations reserves its absolute right to verify the identity of the applicant/examinees/candidates. iv) All applicants shall carefully preserve the Admit Card till the registration process is complete. v) In an unlikely event of Non-receipt of Admit Card: Applicants are advised to take a print out of their Roll nos. from website and paste one photo (self attested) on the same. Applicants are advised to bring his/ her passport as a proof of identification. vi) National Board of Examinations will not be responsible for any postal delay or unforeseen reasons resulting in non/late receipt of the Admit Card. vii) A plea that the applicant failed to receive the information for appearing in the Screening Test will not be accepted as a ground for the refund of fee or any other claim. viii) National Board of Examinations reserves the absolute right to withdraw the permission, if any, granted inadvertently to any applicant who is not eligible to appear in the Screening Test even though an Admit Card has been issued or name displayed on the website/notice board of the Board. ix) Issuance of Admit Card or display of the applicants name on the website of the Board does not confer any right whatsoever by the applicant for his / her eligibility for the purpose of registration by MCI. x) National Board of Examinations reserves the absolute right to withdraw/cancel the result of candidate who was not eligible to appear in screening Test but was inadvertently granted permission for appearing in screening Test.

9. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM Application forms must be submitted within the stipulated time specified in the advertisement & on website. Applicants are requested to ensure that they submit the complete application form, in the envelope provided to reach NBE on or before the last date. Applications received after the last date will not be accepted. 10. DECLARATION OF RESULT OF SCREENING TEST 

The Result of the Screening Test will be declared on the website of the Board (www.natboard.edu.in) and Notice Board at NAMS Building, Ansari Nagar N.Delhi.



The detailed scheme for distribution of certificate of passing screening test will be announced by NBE at www.natboard.edu.in & also informed to successful candidates by post. Candidates are advised not to approach the Boards office for the same.



Result letters shall be sent to unsuccessful candidates by post/speed post.



Applicants are advised to enter the postal address correctly.



There is no provision for reevaluation/ retotaling /declaration of marks.



Request for issuance of duplicate copy of results will not be entertained under ordinary circumstances. Candidates will be required to submit fee of Rs. 500/- along with affidavit in prescribed format for the same.

11. DECLARATION BY THE APPLICANT The applicant MUST sign the declaration (column 19 of the application form). The place and date should also be mentioned. Application Form without signature or with different signature at two places will be treated as incomplete and will be rejected. Application form not filled by candidate/not signed by candates/filled by proxy-will be rejected

ANNEXURE ‘A’ Screening Test Regulations, 2002 (Published in Part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of India Extra-ordinary issue dated the 18th February,2002)

MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA NOTIFICATION New Delhi dated the 13th February,2002 No. MCI-203 (9)/2001-Regn/ In exercise of the powers conferred by section 33 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), the Medical Council of India, with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations, namely: 1.

Short title and commencement – (1) These regulations may be called the Screening Test Regulations, 2002. (2)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

Definitions:- In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,-

a.

“Act” means the Indian Medical Council Act,1956 (102 of 1956);

b.

“Council” means the Medical Council of India constituted under section 3 of the Act;

c.

“Permanent Registration” means registration for the purpose of enrolment on any State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register after obtaining the Primary Medical qualification followed by completion of such practical training as prescribed either in India or abroad as per the provisions of the Act;

d.

“Prescribed” means prescribed by regulations made under this Act;

e.

“Prescribed Authority” means a medical institution or any other examining body authorized by the Central Government/Medical Council of India to conduct Screening Test.

f.

“Primary Medical qualification” means a medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India which is a recognized qualification for enrolment as medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated and which is equivalent to MBBS in India;

g.

“Provisional Registration” means provisional registration in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register for the purpose of undergoing practical training in India as

NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATIONS prescribed and for no other purpose by an Indian citizen possessing any primary medical qualification but has not undergone such practical training after obtaining that qualification as may be required by the rules or regulations in force in the country granting the qualification; h.

“qualifying examination” means the examination to be qualified to become eligible for admission to MBBS course in India as prescribed in the Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 1997.

i.

“registration” means either Provisional Registration or Permanent Registration.

3.

An Indian citizen possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act:Provided that a person seeking permanent registration shall not have to qualify the screening test if he/she had already qualified the same before getting his/her provisional registration.

4.

Eligibility Criteria: No person shall be allowed to appear in the screening test unless:

1.

he/she is a citizen of India and possesses any primary medical qualification, either whose name and the institution awarding it are included in the World Directory of Medical Schools, published by the World Health Organisation; or which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned to be a recognised qualification for enrolment as medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated;

2.

he/she had obtained ‘Eligibility Certificate’ from the Medical Council of India as per the ‘Eligibility Requirement for taking admission in an undergraduate medical course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulations, 2002’. This requirement shall not be necessary in respect of Indian citizens who have acquired the medical qualifications from foreign medical institutions or have obtained admission in foreign medical institution before 15th March, 2002.

5.

The purpose of conducting the screening test shall be only to determine the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for his or her registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council and qualifying the same shall not confer any other right, whatsoever, on a candidate.

6.

The details regarding the Scheme for conducting the screening test and the syllabus of the test shall be announced by the Medical Council of India from time to time for the information of the candidates.

32 7.

The screening test shall be conducted twice every year as per the Schedule of examination announced by the Prescribed Authority. The procedure of conducting the test shall be in accordance with the Scheme announced by the Medical Council of India in this regard.

8.

There shall be three papers of multiple choice questions in Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical Medicine and its allied subjects including Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The language of the test shall be English. The test for each paper will be of three hours duration.

9.

A candidate shall be declared as having passed only if he/she obtains a minimum of 50% (fifty percent) marks in each paper separately. The minimum qualifying marks shall apply to all categories of candidates without exception.

10. A candidate may avail of maximum three chances to appear and pass the test. Actual appearance at the test will constitute an attempt. If he/she does not qualify even in his/her 3rd appearance in the test, the candidate will not be eligible for registration by the Council or by any State Medical Council in India. 11. The Prescribed Authority shall intimate the result of the Screening Test to the candidates as well as to the Secretary, Medical Council of India and the State Medical Councils. The unsuccessful candidates shall also be appropriately informed. The candidates who qualify the Screening Test may apply to the Secretary, Medical Council of India, New Delhi or to any State Medical Council for provisional registration/ permanent registration along with the requisite registration fee in favour of Secretary, Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council. The Medical Council of India or the State Medical Councils shall issue provisional registration to such successful candidates, who are yet to undergo one year internship in an approved institution and issue permanent registration to such eligible candidates who have already undergone one year internship, as the case may be.

MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA Aiwan-E-Galib Marg, Kotla Road, New Delhi-110002 PRESS NOTE It is brought to the notice of Indian (citizens) students who are desirous of joining an Undergraduate Medical Course (equivalent to MBBS in India) in any Foreign Medical Institution on or after the 15th March,2002, that all such intending candidates shall have to approach the Medical Council of India, Aiwan-E-Galib Marg, Kotla Road, New Delhi-110002 for issue of Eligibility Certificate for getting admission to an Undergraduate Medical Course in any Foreign Medical Institution as per the provisions of “Eligibility Requirement for taking admission in an undergraduate medical course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulations,2002” which has been notified in Part III Section 4 of the Gazette of India Extra-ordinary issue dated the 18th February,2002. The application form for issue of the Eligibility Certificate may be obtained from the Council office. The application form alongwith the details required therein may be submitted to the Council alongwith the demand draft in favour of Secretary, Medical Council of India, New Delhi, for the prescribed sum. It may be understood that Eligibility Certificate will be issued by the Council only to such candidates who fulfill the criteria of age of admission to the medical course and passing of qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent or higher qualification) with the required percentage of marks as prescribed in the Graduate Medical Education Regulations,1997, copies of which are available in the Council office on payment of Rs.100/-. The relevant extracts from these Regulations are also available on the Council’s Website. A candidate belonging to SC/ST/ OBC has to produce a caste certificate from the competent authority. Only after necessary verification, if the candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria, the Council shall issue Eligibility Certificate to the candidate certifying that he/she is eligible to join a medical institution outside India to obtain a primary medical qualification. No candidate who has obtained admission in a Foreign Medical Institution on or after 15th March,2002 shall be permitted to sit for the Screening Test, after obtaining the medical degree from abroad, for the purpose of his registration in India, unless he produces the Eligibility Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India. MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA Aiwan-E-Galib Marg, Kotla Road, New Delhi-110002 PRESS NOTE It is brought to the notice of all Indian Citizens possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who are desirous to getting Provisional or Permanent Registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15th March,2002 that they shall have to qualify a Screening Test which will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110029, as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956 (as amended) and the Screening Test Regulations,2002, which has been notified in Part III Section 4 of the Gazette of India Extra-ordinary issue dated the 18th February,2002. The Amendment Act and the Screening Test Regulations are available for reference in the MCI Website : www.mciindia.org. The Screening Test will be conducted twice a year as per the Schedule of Examination to be announced by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. There shall be three papers of Multiple choice questions in pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical medicine and its allied subjects including Obstetrics. & Gynaecology. The language of the test shall be English. The test for each paper will be of three hours duration. A candidate has to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in each paper separately for passing the Screening Test. A candidate may avail of maximum of 3 chances (actual appearance) and if he does not qualify in the 3rd chance/appearance in the test, such candidate will not be eligible for registration by the Council. No candidate shall be allowed to appear in the Screening Test unless: 1.

he/she is a citizen of India and possesses any primary medical qualification, either whose name and the institution awarding it are included in the World Directory of Medical Schools, published by the World Health Organisation; or which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned to be a recognised qualification for enrolment as medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated;

2.

he/she had obtained ‘Eligibility Certificate’ from the Medical Council of India as per the Eligibility Requirement for taking admission in an undergraduate medical course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulations,2002’. This requirement shall not be necessary in respect of Indian citizens who have acquired the medical qualifications from foreign medical institutions or have obtained admission in foreign medical institution before 15th March,2002.

Sir, This is to bring to your kind notice that the Indian Medical Council Act,1956 has been amended by the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act,2001 under which Regulations have been approved by the Central Govt. and notified in the Gazette of India which provide broadly for the following 1.

No new primary medical qualification (equivalent to MBBS in India) granted by any medical institution outside India shall be included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act after coming into force of the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act,2001 i.e. 3rd September, 2001.

A citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification as defined in the enclosed Screening Test Regulations,2002 {para 2(f)}granted by any medical institution in any country outside India and who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after the 15th March,2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority.

An Indian citizen seeking admission in a foreign medical institution for obtaining a primary medical qualification as defined in the enclosed Screening Test Regulations, 2002 {para 2(f)} on or after the 15th March, 2002 shall be eligible to appear in the Screening Test only if he possesses the eligibility qualification as per the regulations

framed by the MCI (for admission to MBBS course in India) – Extracts of Graduate Medical Education Regulations are enclosed for reference. 4.

Any person who is desirous of joining an undergraduate medical course in any foreign medical institution on or after 15th March,2002 should approach the Medical Council of India, New Delhi for issue of Eligibility Certificate for that purpose as per the Eligibility Requirement for Taking Admission in an Undergraduate Medical Course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulations,2002. All such candidates will be allowed to appear in the screening test only if they produce the eligibility certificate, after completion of the medical course abroad and if they are eligible to sit for the screening test as prescribed in the Screening Test Regulations, 2002.

A copy each of the following documents are sent herewith for information and necessary action:1.

It is requested that wide publicity may please be given to all Foreign medical institutions conducting medical courses leading to the award of primary medical qualification as defined in the enclosed Screening Test Regulations, 2002 {para 2(f)} (equivalent to MBBS) in the foreign country concerned as well as the concerned Ministries/departments of the Govt. of the foreign country, the concerned Medical Council or equivalent authority for recognition of medical qualifications/grant of permission to practice medicine in that country so that all Indian students already undergoing training/medical course for obtaining primary medical qualification in any institution in the foreign country are properly apprised of the Regulations so that they may approach the prescribed authority for appearing in the screening test only if they fulfill the requirements prescribed in the Regulations and the scheme for conducting the screening test. It will be appreciated if an acknowledgement is sent to this Council along with a report on action taken, for the information of this Council. Medical Council of India New Delhi As regards applicability of the Eligibility Requirements for taking Admission in an undergraduate Medical Course in Foreign Medical Institution Regulations, 2002, and the Screening Test Regulations, 2002 (notified in the Gazette of India dated the 18th February, 2002), it is clarified for the information of the general public that these Regulations do not apply to students, who may join an undergraduate medical course in foreign countries recognised and included in the Second Schedule under Section 12 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, that is, qualifications falling under the reciprocity scheme.

No. MCI ____________________ In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20A, read with section 33, of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), the Medical Council of India, with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Screening Test Regulations, 2002, namely:1.

(a) These Regulations may be called the Screening Test (Amendment) Regulations, 2003 (b) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.

2.

In the Screening Test Regulations, 2002, for regulation 10, the following regulation shall be substituted, namely:-

”10. A candidate shall have to pass all the three papers in the same attempt. However there shall not be any restriction on the number of attempts to appear in the test.”
