FINAL WARNING - APPEAL I wish to confirm receipt of your letter dated August 18, 2009 with regard to the above subject and I hereby acknowledge the charge. Nonetheless, I request management to analyze the following issues and exercise some lenience on me. 1. I have faithfully worked for this reputable organisation for 36 months now, without any breach, let alone an accident. The issue at hand was a very unfortunate one contributed by the traffic lights that were not operational at the time. 2. I am a family man with school going children. It will be very difficult for me to survive with this huge responsibility if I am to pay K6,250,000.00 because this figure is almost my gross annual pay. Please consider the time we are living in with this global recession. Just food and accommodation, let alone daily transport have become so expensive. 3. I am remorseful of the loss and I hereby assure management that I will be more cautious with my responsibilities as I have been for the last 36 months. I also pledge to put more effort in ensuring that the vision of the organisation is attained, by putting in more than the usual effort in my duties. To this end, I sincerely pray that management considers my plea and pardon me on the part of repayment as I don’t have capacity. I thank you in advance for your favourable response. Yours faithfully
