• Maryland is between Pennsylvania and Virginia and to add it is a coastal colony.

• Maryland was founded by Cecil Calvert the 2nd which was the lord of Baltimore. The name Maryland came from to honor King Charles' wife Queen Henrietta Maria.
Economy When was my colony founded • Maryland's economy is based mostly known for their tobacco which was called the cash crop. And that’s how they made living. They farmed that’s how they paid.
• Maryland was founded in 1632 George Calvert was granted by England. And a huge portion of land. Which he founded. Maryland's primary reason of founding it was for safety and for Catholics to practice on religion.

• You will experience in summer a very warm but in winter it was even shown that in the mountains there was one hundred feet of snow.

• My people are mainly from England and settled here for a good life and for Catholics to settle protestants and which left other colonies to settle here as well.
Landforms • Chesapeake Bay and the low-lying
Coastal Plain that surrounds it Atlantic beaches, forested wetlands, coastal salt marshes and fertile farmland is mainly what landforms you will see. The soil is very rich and is very good for farming.
• Maryland never had time to play
because they lived in a grain and food source place and the plants can't farm themselves so yes here was not that much time and when they were done you would rather relax then have fun. People regularly would meet at the bar or at town meetings.
