PAUL Your presence and involvement in the Parish Mission is commendable. Special thanks to all who so kindly shared in providing food for our gathering times. May our blessings be plenty and the calories not affect us for long. Indeed, as we journey through Lent may the inspiration of the mission truly encourage our love of God’s word.

“THE TRIDUUM?” Lent ends on Holy Thursday. Most people think it ends on Holy Saturday. Indeed, we begin “the Triduum” with a beautiful liturgy remembering of Jesus’ celebration with his disciples from which flows our Eucharist. Good Friday and Holy Saturday Saturday are two sacred days on which we remember and we wait! On these two days we never celebrate the Mass. Easter Sunday ends the Triduum with a joyous beginning of the fifty Easter days.

∆ What are you doing for the Triduum this year? ∆ CONFIRMATION:

We have begun our program to prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation! If for some reason a candidate has not yet registered, please contact Fr. Proulx. We cannot affect the preparations by joining in after they have begun! Eager as these young people are to joy in the Spirit of God, let us raise them in constant prayer during these weeks of opening their minds and hearts to God.

R.C.I A & ADULT LEARNING OPPORTUNITY: These weekly sessions on the sacraments – their origins in scripture, our history in developing our faith through them and a better understanding of how we celebrate them today, continues this Thursday at which time we will begin to explore the Sacraments of Commitment, with a look at Marriage.
