The Manure Digester Summit will:  Define what manure digestion, anaerobic digestion or biogas is and why a farmer would want to be involved.  Discuss how digesters work  Discuss the environmental benefits vs. possible negative impacts of digesters  Identify options for developing manure digester projects including dealing with utilities  Talk about how farmers can obtain funds to develop a digester project  Identify what government permits and paperwork are necessary

Sustain Sauk County is an initiative that encourages Sauk County residents to produce renewable energy and to protect our clean water resources.
