The Manure Digester Summit will: Define what manure digestion, anaerobic digestion or biogas is and why a farmer would want to be involved. Discuss how digesters work Discuss the environmental benefits vs. possible negative impacts of digesters Identify options for developing manure digester projects including dealing with utilities Talk about how farmers can obtain funds to develop a digester project Identify what government permits and paperwork are necessary
