Contribution of sundarban in our economy  The Sundarbans play an important role in the economy of the southwestern region of Bangladesh as well as in the national economy.

 provides raw material for wood based industries.

Honey occupies an important position as a foreign exchange earner and used as food, drink, beverage and also as a medicine in the country. large scale harvest of non wood forest products such as thatching materials, honey, bees-wax, fish, crustacean and mollusk resources of the forest takes place regularly.

Contribution of sundarban in our economy The vegetated tidal lands of the Sundarbans also function as an essential habitat, nutrient producer, water purifier, nutrient etc.

Bamboo plays a very crucial role in our rural economy and is a singular essential material for construction of temporary house / shelter for the rural people, especially for the hilly tribal people.

Constituting 51% of the total reserved forest estate of Bangladesh it contributes about 41% of total forest revenue

Popular Culture of Shundarban  The Sundarban has been celebrated in numerous Bengali and Indian English novels songs and film.  has some passages set in the Sunderbans during the heroine Beulah's quest to bring her husband Lakhindar back to life. Sundarban has large kind of fabulous natural cultural and some traditional resources.

 Numerous documentary movies have been made about the Sunderbans, including the 2003 IMAX production about the Bengal Tiger - Shining Bright.  The Sunderbans are celebrated through numerous Bengali folk songs and dances.  Sundarbaney Arjan Sardar and Padma Nadir Majhi, two novel are based on the rigors of lives of villagers and fishermen in the Sunderbans region.

Conclusion Bio-diverse region of Sundarban has been recognized as one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. Sundarban wildlife sanctuary is the largest mangrove forest in the world, which is popular for Royal Bengal tigers. It was a waterlogged jungle, in which tigers and other wild beasts abounded Different characteristic of tree grow here such as sundori, Keora, gewa, goran etc. Has contribution in our national economy.

Today Sundarban is being destructed and almost lost it’s speciality. To save the sundarban, government should take proper step and impose strictly rules. At last we can say that the Shundarban is our pride. Many foreigners come in our country to visit the Shundarban. It is the single largest source of forest in the country. We are proud having the largest mangrove forest in our country. We should save this gift of the Nature. Otherwise we lost our valuable asset.
