COURSE DESCRIPTION & GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

This course gives an insight to the students about the available sources of energy and their utilization for power generation. It also provides details of power distribution and generation economics. In depth knowledge of various power plants like Nuclear, Hydro electric & Diesel enhance the students understanding about various requirements of plant design. The students are asked to do the seminars on the Non renewable energy resources like Solar, Tidal, Wind & Geo thermal. LECTURE DELIVERY SCHEDULE:
