Low ID to High ID: Try to switch off „Gemeinsame Nutzung der Internetverbindung“ in „Netzwerkumgebung->Eigenschaften->Erweitert“ (german), which should be something like „Shared Internet Usage“ in „Network->Settings->Extra/Advanced” on English machines. If you have connected computers, it might disable their connection though. To fix this, install a new protocol under “Network->LAN-Connection->Settings” somewhere. There should be a button called “Install”, then choose “Protocol”, and it should say something like “transport…” and/or “IPX…”. (Obviously has to be installed on both/all computers). To connect via this protocol takes a while when done the first time (up to 2 mins) It this does not work, try installing other protocols, maybe also where you switched of the shared internet usage.
