love is the space that is cleared out for someone to exist within another. the space the encompasses your perception or concept of another, is a measure of the love that is held for them. blindly using fingertips then closer with the tip of my nose my lips the soft part of my cheek i trace the space that i hold for you. it feels cold, empty. over time it is less reflective of your shape; without you to remind me how it curves, how it bends. without your thoughts, like rain water evaporated long ago from my resevoir or you, Click. the phone is silent in the absence of your voice. thin the time since last rainfall the days between them and the way you diminish space for me. shades of slippery slopes trickery, middle thoughts growing thin, wearing holes over thighs ruined by the time spent tracing you in me until the music, that carriage of notes, turns decidedly pumpkin below an otherwise higher thought process. stories told about an idea or concept change the nature of it's existence (percepton). lies heard from your tongue define how i am perceived (existence). the space that encompasses (inside) a concept of you (outside) the space encompassing (in/side) my idea of you (out/side) loses shape less and less
