Cutting Cut a piece 10 ½ X 11 ½ Inches from the Background Stitchery Fabric. From the 8 Honey Bun Strips and cross cut 3 X 10 ½ Inch from each (makes 24). From the Border Fabric Cut 3 X 2 ½ inch strips across the width of the fabric. Cut 2 of these strips to a length of 32 Inches. Cut 2 X 12 inch lengths from the remaining piece. From the Binding Fabric Cut 3 X 2 ½ Inch strips across the width of the fabric.
Instructions ¼ Inch seam allowance to be used at all times. Lay the 24 X 10 ½ Inch strips beside the stitchery fabric along the matching 10 ½ Inch side (12 on each side). Once you are happy with the layout sew 12 alongside one another to the stitchery fabric on both sides. Press all seams towards the outside. Sew each of the 2 x 32 inch border strips to the top and bottom. Press. Sew the 2 Side border pieces next. Press. Trace the stitchery pattern using a light box or other light source onto the stitchery fabric Making sure that the design is centred. Use a water soluble marker or a brown pigment pen. Press Fusible Pellon to the entire length of the table runner. Stitch using back stitch in your chosen colours. Place the backing onto a hard surface and sandwich the top of the runner to the back with curved quilting pins. Quilt the table runner in the ditch or as desired. Bind using your favourite method.
