LOOK FOR TO CHRIST

Twelve days ago, I had thought about writing something important. However, I would like to share something more than important, useful. Have you ever wondered how to develop more love or more charity or faith in God in adversity?. That was and is the question of my whole life. Because a several difficulties in my life, parents divorced when I was very small, economics needs, believed have developed sufficient strength and seen everything. Time comes to the life of every young member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when we take great decision-18 years old-, a decision that will change our lives through many spiritual experiences, mark our life for eternity on what do to love and know more about to the Savior Jesus Christ. Fourteen months passed in my mission, I thought I knew enough about the attributes of Christ, but I learned that I was wrong. The Lord called me with a new assignment; I was to be leader zone and by arriving new responsibilities comes difficulties. One of then was getting few baptisms and problems in obedience to the Lord , which He expected of us. Stress and my lack of love increased in me, and little by little left to feel the strong company of the Spirit, it produced in me to know less the Savior Jesus Christ. The time came when I realized od this change in my life and cry to the Lord with all my strengthens of my soul for He might to show me how to improve. One day I made an exchange with another missionary couple- and I met a great Elder, with just him, and shake his hand I felt that he had something special. Hours passed, in my heart felt things that I had not and he

had in abundance: love, hope, faith in Christ. In addition, I asked how I could develop more Christ like attributes like those I felt in him, he smiled and with all humility He said that only struggles and the way how we overcome them to meet closer to the Lord. And he was looking for with all his might and He wanted that Jesus form part of his life such as we look for daily bread, even the Savior Jesus Christ must be most important that water we need to live and most important than air of life. Those answers pierced my heart and I felt like a dagger to my heart entered or an electric shock in my body to know that the Savior did not know to do it as it should be his representative. Since that day my heart began to change and to seek more my Savior. Having finished the mission, the pressures of the world and temporal needs make us lose the eternal perspective, but we feel that something we need. Since I get home that I felt, I did not realize it was, until this week. I recently discovered that I needed to do something he had forgotten, seeking the Christ more than anything does. Today while I was in the house of the Lord, while I was pondering in his place, prayed with all my heart to seek and find the Lord and I felt a strong impression. And He made me feel I ought to feel the power of his atonement and went out with the determination to seek and to feel what that great friend showed me. Hours later I learned that my great friend had died. The sky collapsed in seconds, sadness filled the heart, and everything went dark. When within that darkness I came a glimmer of hope, telling me to see him again and remembered each of his words and eventually came to my mind to look for through service and love he had learned of this great servant of the Lord. Now I feel sadness, but hope and faith that the Lord hears me and help me to know more each day.

It is so it can develop more love and faith, first to develop more knowledge and know the Savior through his writings, temple service, service to others and lost in this Work of Salvation.
