B. Directions: Read the following linear text and transcode it to non-linear. 1. Linear Text: How to Bake Butter Cake. (5 points) First, Sift together flour and baking powder, then set aside. Cream butter and sugar afterwards blend in eggs one at a time. In another bowl combine, milk, water, and vanilla. Afterwards, add the flour mixture and the milk mixture alternately to the creamed mixture, starting and ending with flour. Pour batter into a prepared pan. Lastly, bake at 3750F or 1900C for 454 minutes or 1 hour.

2. Linear Text: Poetry

Poetry is divided into three major categories. They are narrative, lyric, and dramatic poetry. Narrative Poetry includes poems that tell stories like ballad, metrical tale, and epic. Lyric Poetry is subjective and extremely emotional. Examples of Lyric Poetry are song, sonnet, elegy, ode, and lullabies. On the other hand, Dramatic Poetry includes plays which are written in verse. Dramatic monologue, soliloquy, character sketch and prose poetry are example of dramatic poetry.
