Last Semester, Dr. Srinivasan Ramasamy, Entomology Department Head in AVRDC – The World Vegetable Center, requested 2 BS Agriculture students, preferably Entomology Majors, to conduct their research internship in the said center. Dr. Adalla then, communicated us the request. Since the opportunity seemed appealing, Frances Anne E. Salomia and I applied for the position, and were luckily accepted. We then did our internship the whole summer, from 4 April 2008 to 7 June 2008. Unluckily, we haven’t got much time to revise our plan of coursework and enroll the units intended for the research internship. Our advisers agreed that we may change it later. On 1st Semester, 2007, I have enrolled 2 units of ENT 200, and have satisfied it. I will have to change my major option, ENT 200 to ENT 200a because for me, having the research internship would be better than sticking to my working title. I would then like to request that the 2 units of ENT 200 that I have enrolled be credited so that I may take 4 units of ENT 200a this semester.
