To Whom it May Concern, I enthusiastically recommend Justine Saunders for a teaching position at your school. I have worked with Justine this past year as an instructional coach at Naranca Elementary, the school in which she teaches. Naranca Elementary is a Title 1 school in El Cajon that emphasizes personalized, blending learning to support each student. Justine began the year as a long-term substitute, which turned into a full time teaching position. During her first year of teaching, Justine has demonstrated commitment to working with staff members, students, and families here at Naranca. She is a consummate learner, reaching out for support throughout the year so that she can hone her craft and better support her students. Justine voluntarily participated in multiple coaching cycles to improve her enhance practices. In the year that I have worked with Justine, I have seen her willingness to dive into new experiences, take risks, and try new strategies, all in an effort to be the best support for students and grow as an educator. As a teacher, Justine is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment in her classroom, building strong relationships with her students, and encouraging them to collaborate and learn from each other. I am pleased to say that Justine is a collaborative colleague, a kind and reflective individual, and an innovative teacher. Justine passionately supports students and families as they work through the challenges of school. Justine regularly reaches out to parents to build family-school relationships in an effort to best support her students. She facilitates parent meetings, schedules translation when needed, and communicates with parents on a regular basis in a variety of ways. Justine makes a daily effort to create a culture of learning in which every student with whom she works has an opportunity to engage in worthwhile and rewarding learning experiences. She does this through a combination of small group instruction and blended, personalized learning for each student. Justine is a hard-working and devoted professional. I have been impressed with Justine’s dedication to the students, families, and staff at Naranca. Her eager manner, willingness to take on new tasks, and share resources makes Justine a valuable member of our team. I highly recommend Justine for a teaching position at your school. She will be an essential asset to any school lucky enough to have her. Should you have any questions or wish to further discuss her qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me at (619) 710-9434. Sincerely,
